spk_0 But first, let's kick off the show with tonight's hot tent.

spk_0 First up, let's take a look at the moments from last night's Golden Globe Awards

spk_0 that had everyone buzzing.

spk_0 Hollywood showed up and showed out for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards last night.

spk_0 Rihanna skips the red carpet, but stunned in an all black ensemble.

spk_0 Brad Pitt rocked a new haircut that went viral,

spk_0 and Eddie Murphy gave his advice for making it in Hollywood.

spk_0 Just do these three things.

spk_0 Pay taxes.

spk_0 Money business.

spk_0 And keep Will Smith's wife's name.

spk_0 Jennifer Coolidge stole the night winning her first Golden Globe for HBO's The White Lotus.

spk_0 I just want you all to know that I had such big dreams and expectations as a younger person.

spk_0 But what happened was that you know they get sort of fizzled by life or whatever.

spk_0 And Mike White, you have given me hope for just you give me a new beginning.

spk_0 Even this is the end because you did kill me off, but it doesn't matter.

spk_0 Because even if this is the end, you sort of changed my life in a million different ways.

spk_0 Brad Pitt got several nods from the ladies.

spk_0 Comedy gives us all the same laugh.

spk_0 Hey, Brad Pitt.

spk_0 Sorry about this.

spk_0 I think they got my name wrong.

spk_0 Yeah, it's Mrs. Pitt.

spk_0 Brad is right here, so I'm so sorry, honey.

spk_0 And I was really, that was really disrespectful.

spk_0 He's angry. Look at him.

spk_0 And the biggest award of the night, best picture drama, went to the Fableman's.

spk_0 Congratulations to all of the winners. What a fun night.

spk_0 Awards, Mania, continued today as the nominations for the Saga Awards were unveiled.

spk_0 Making the cut for outstanding performance by a cast and emotion picture, Babylon, the bansions of insurance,

spk_0 everything everywhere all at once, the Fableman's and women talking.

spk_0 On the TV side, the outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series nominees were,

spk_0 Better Call Saul, The Crown, Ozark, Severance and The White Lotus.

spk_0 The Saga Awards will air on YouTube's Netflix channel on Sunday, February 26th at 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific.

spk_0 Preterry stopped by the late show at Stephen Colbert last night and answered the million dollar question.

spk_0 Does he watch The Crown? Take a look.

spk_0 You've got to have watched some of The Crown, right?

spk_0 People love it. Yes, I have actually watched The Crown.

spk_0 Oh, yeah.

spk_0 Does your recent stuff or the older stuff?

spk_0 The older stuff and the more recent stuff.

spk_0 Yeah. Do you fact check it while you watch it?

spk_0 Yes, I do, actually.

spk_0 Prince Harry's memoir, Spare is out now.

spk_0 The old James from The White Lotus has been one of the actors mentioned to take over the iconic role of James Bond.

spk_0 The old spoke out about The Rumors during an interview with Sirius XM's Jess Kegel.

spk_0 I honestly think with the, I'm a big fan of this concept of it and I loved, you know, Casino Royale.

spk_0 I love some of the Sean Connery movies, but I think they need to do something else.

spk_0 Do you know what I mean? They need to really go with a reinvention of it in a different way.

spk_0 And that wouldn't be me.

spk_0 That's a bummer. I think Theo would make a great James Bond.

spk_0 I second that. The nominations for the I Hard Radio Music Awards were revealed today and included some pretty amazing names.

spk_0 Lizzo, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles led the nominations with seven nods each.

spk_0 Jack Harlow and Drake close behind with six.

spk_0 The I Hard Radio Music Awards were air March 27th on Fox.

spk_0 Speaking of Harry Styles, the music superstar made headlines when he made a cameo in the Marvel film Eternals.

spk_0 But we may be seeing a lot more Harry in the Marvel Universe.

spk_0 Marvel executive Nate Moore told Deadline Hollywood, we didn't cast Harry for a tag.

spk_0 There's more stories to be told with that character.

spk_0 We are so ready for more styles on the big screen.

spk_0 Ashley Simpson went viral when she recently hit the stage with Demi Lovato to perform her smash hit Lala.

spk_0 Ashley talked about the performance and new music while chatting with Jennifer Hudson on her talk show.

spk_0 I brought my daughter. She wore like a little rock outfit.

spk_0 And that was so much fun.

spk_0 What was that like? It was so much fun to perform with Demi.

spk_0 I was so flattered that she sang Lala on tour.

spk_0 And to get back out there and sing that was her who I love, her voice is so beautiful.

spk_0 She could sing very, very.

spk_0 It was just fun, fun energy. We had a really good time together.

spk_0 Definitely made me miss a stage and singing.

spk_0 So are you going to come out with a new album?

spk_0 I was like, okay, I keep saying. I'm coming out with an album. I'm coming out with an album.

spk_0 And now I have to. But then I keep having babies.

spk_0 Fingers crossed for new music. We are so ready for it, Ashley.

spk_0 We also want to send a huge congrats to our friends over at the Jennifer Hudson show and the Sherry show for their season 2 renewals.

spk_0 There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the third installment of the hit movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

spk_0 And at the New York premiere of a man called Otto, Garrett Vogel acts producer Rita Wilson for an update on the sequel.

spk_0 Can you tell us anything about My Big Fat Greek Wedding?

spk_0 Three. That it's coming. It's fun.

spk_0 Have you got to see it yet? In its entirety?

spk_0 Oh no, I've seen it. But I can't tell you much about it.

spk_0 You have a smile on your face. I'm only.

spk_0 Near of our dollars directed it. She of course wrote it and stars in it.

spk_0 And it was for me. It was an incredibly full circle for her to finally direct the movie that she created that I saw in a one woman show in years ago.

spk_0 Last night I got up close and personal with the biggest winners of the night backstage at the Golden Globe Awards.

spk_0 First up, I sat down with the one and only Jennifer Coolidge.

spk_0 She won best support in actress for her role in the White Lotus and she put up a hot rumor that's been circulating.

spk_0 Now I heard that White Lotus helped your dating game.

spk_0 Um, I must have lied.

spk_0 Well, I'm going to ask you to help me with my dating game.

spk_0 Okay? You're going to tell people why they should date me.

spk_0 From my friend, Jennifer Coolidge, who I might have met 20 seconds ago.

spk_0 But we're going to pretend like I'm neighbors with her.

spk_0 He's very sexy and he's a very nice person.

spk_0 But, yeah. But you know, um, he's a great listener and he's great in the sack.

spk_0 You heard it. I am great in the sack.

spk_0 Thank you, Jennifer. I have already gotten two dates from that video.

spk_0 The next interview blew my mind. Two words. Eddie Murphy.

spk_0 He took home the Cecil V. Demille Award, honoring his overall contributions to the world of entertainment.

spk_0 And he told us whether or not he would ever return to his original love stand up.

spk_0 You've teased in the past that you may go back to your roots.

spk_0 Get back into stand up. First, when is it happening? And second, are we getting back into that red one piece?

spk_0 Are we bringing out the leather for this one?

spk_0 Yeah. And it wasn't a one piece. It was two piece.

spk_0 And I don't know if I'm going to be wearing leather because I'm in my 60s now.

spk_0 And that would be funny in itself. But yeah, I'm going to do stand up again.

spk_0 Now, I got to know, NASA comes to you at a time capsule and they say, Eddie, we need one movie and one movie only of yours.

spk_0 Which one are you choosing? The Nutty Professor.

spk_0 100%.

spk_0 That's why I got to do all this stuff that I could do.

spk_0 You know, be funny to put into his time capsule.

spk_0 Blue Don't Nesh.

spk_0 And then, and that video only movie.

spk_0 And like a thousand years from now, they open it up and they be like, why the f*** did they like this guy?

spk_0 What the f*** is this in this time capsule?

spk_0 Great minds, Ninga Light, because that was my pick too.

spk_0 Angela Vasin took home the award for best supporting actress for her role in Black Panther, Wakanda Forever,

spk_0 making her the first actor from the Marvel Universe to ever win a Golden Globe.

spk_0 The history maker also told us why it would take for Stella to get her groove back again.

spk_0 What did it feel like when you heard your name?

spk_0 It just meant the world, you know, because I have persevered.

spk_0 I try to make it look like a walk in the park, but because it does.

spk_0 But yeah, thank you. You float.

spk_0 Thank you. Yeah, that'll never let them see you soon.

spk_0 Yeah, right?

spk_0 You know, but yeah, it's a journey.

spk_0 And it, like I said, it's not, it's not all easy.

spk_0 And we know that.

spk_0 But you really enjoyed and appreciated when it does come.

spk_0 Now, I ran into Tay Diggs at the gym.

spk_0 You did.

spk_0 The other day.

spk_0 Okay.

spk_0 And I asked him about how Stella got your groove back.

spk_0 And I said, you know, what would it take for you to go back and do this movie again?

spk_0 He said he was waiting for you.

spk_0 So what are we waiting on?

spk_0 Because you said you would do it.

spk_0 I didn't know he was waiting.

spk_0 I don't want to keep her brother waiting.

spk_0 Give me a couple of days in the gym.

spk_0 Nice.

spk_0 Now meet you.

spk_0 Angela, I promise you are always camera ready.

spk_0 Now a star was born in 2022 when Austin Butler hit the big screen as Elvis.

spk_0 He won the Golden Globe for best actor in a drama last night.

spk_0 But what does Elvis' family think of his portrayal of the king?

spk_0 What does it mean to have that support of the family, of the fans, of the foundation of the press release?

spk_0 Oh, man.

spk_0 I was just talking about this.

spk_0 I always knew that it would never get better than that.

spk_0 You know, the first time I got to look at a prosciutto eyes and Lisa Marie's eyes after they saw the film and were moved by it.

spk_0 And they were, they told me what they thought.

spk_0 I just, I knew that that was the greatest thing that I would ever hear as far as this film goes.

spk_0 Austin seems right on track to win that Oscar.

spk_0 The Fable Months won big last night, taking home the awards for best drama and best director.

spk_0 Which means Steven Spielberg now has nine Golden Globes.

spk_0 But that doesn't make winning any less special.

spk_0 It felt pretty terrific.

spk_0 And, and, and it was amazing because I had my phone in my inner pocket and it started lighting up.

spk_0 I didn't check anything right away, but it was buzzing for the next half hour.

spk_0 And it turned out to be all my kids and my grandkids and way past it bedtimes on the East Coast.

spk_0 And that felt really good.

spk_0 Congratulations.

spk_0 What an amazing cast.

spk_0 Michelle, yo, one best actress for everything everywhere all at once.

spk_0 But as she revealed to me last night, her co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis, gave her a backup award just in case.

spk_0 Was the feeling what you thought it was going to be?

spk_0 Or was it something better?

spk_0 Oh, definitely better.

spk_0 Because I think, you know, when you, that saying don't think that, don't say it or else you jinx yourself.

spk_0 And everybody is going like, I'm sure.

spk_0 But when I got here, Jamie Lee, love her, love her.

spk_0 Love her, love her.

spk_0 You know, my Hollywood lover.

spk_0 I mean, my Hollywood hot dog lover.

spk_0 She's everybody's Hollywood lovers.

spk_0 Okay.

spk_0 That's true.

spk_0 She's everybody's Hollywood lover.

spk_0 She's my hot dog, fingers lover.

spk_0 But when I arrived, she hugged me and she said, this is for you in case you don't win.

spk_0 In case you don't have something to bring home, and it was a blessed bee.

spk_0 And finally, Abidd Elementary won Best Comedy TV show.

spk_0 Now, we know Janelle James' character has an NBA boyfriend, but it was clear that she still had Brad Pitt on the brain.

spk_0 Watch this.

spk_0 Honey, you were in there.

spk_0 You were living.

spk_0 I saw you try to talk to Brad Pitt.

spk_0 I mean, he was right there.

spk_0 Did you shoot your shot?

spk_0 No, wasted opportunity.

spk_0 I ain't shoot my shot at, on a colleague tip.

spk_0 Maybe we worked together.

spk_0 You did my shot at a collaboration.

spk_0 That's what you mean.

spk_0 One of the things that makes Abidd so good is that our ensemble, we are really portraying real people.

spk_0 So it'd be kind of weird to have shiny Brad Pitt show up.

spk_0 But I'm sure he could do it.

spk_0 That's why he's an Oscar winner.

spk_0 And now he has both of our numbers, because we won't give it to him right here.

spk_0 Love is so important.

spk_0 Love is the foundation.

spk_0 I feel like to everything.

spk_0 And this is the Black Love issue, and this is the first time that they're featuring a single woman.

spk_0 Yes!

spk_0 On the cover, some very honored.

spk_0 I love that.

spk_0 I love that you say a single woman, because obviously you've been in some very public relationships over the years, and you actually told Essence,

spk_0 I feel like it's always been about me attached to something or someone.

spk_0 This time, it's about me.

spk_0 It's my time.

spk_0 I saw this quote, and I was like, this is everything, and I feel it's so empowering for women to hear this, especially coming from you.

spk_0 What made you say this?

spk_0 What are you feeling in this time?

spk_0 I feel like I'm growing.

spk_0 I feel like I'm growing as a woman, as an individual.

spk_0 So I just feel like, you know, this time is about me, self-love, self-growth.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 Just being patient with myself in every stage as I'm growing.

spk_0 But I feel like even saying, like, I'm single, and saying, this is a single woman on the cover.

spk_0 You've been in, like I said, so many relationships that we've heard about, and you're like, yes, I've been attached to these things.

spk_0 It's about someone, of someone else.

spk_0 How does it feel to finally be able to do a cover like this and be like, it ain't about them.

spk_0 It's about me.

spk_0 And what does that mean to you?

spk_0 It feels very empowering.

spk_0 Like I said, I feel like this year, especially, like I'm really stepping into my own, coming to my own as a woman.

spk_0 I feel like I'm officially kind of getting grown now.

spk_0 Okay.

spk_0 I'm really learning myself.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 You know, I'm growing my brand, growing my business.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 So I'm just focusing on me now.

spk_0 I feel like I've, you know, focused on so many other things for years, just as I've been growing.

spk_0 You know, I was young.

spk_0 You had to figure yourself out.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 Just figuring out how to navigate life.

spk_0 So I feel like we saw a lot of you, but it was even like, even now hearing you do interviews and being like, I want to come out here.

spk_0 I want to talk.

spk_0 I want people to hear what I have to say, what I think.

spk_0 I remember some of your first interviews.

spk_0 One of the first was on the reel.

spk_0 And a lot of the comments were like, she speaks.

spk_0 How did that feel to hear that to be like, I got a lot to say.

spk_0 What does Lori Harvey have to say?

spk_0 Just, you know, that she's a young woman.

spk_0 She's growing.

spk_0 She's figuring it out.

spk_0 She's having to figure it out in the public eye.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 Not easy.

spk_0 You know, just allow her some grace as she's moving and navigating life and figuring things out.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 I like that.

spk_0 Okay.

spk_0 Now, your dad is Steve Harvey.

spk_0 And I feel like he's a guru of relationships.

spk_0 We see him be an incredible husband to your mom.

spk_0 What, and obviously he had the book think like a man.

spk_0 Like, I feel like everybody wants to know what is the one piece of advice he's given you that really has stuck.

spk_0 Just remember that you're the prize always.

spk_0 Say that one more time.

spk_0 Just remember that you are the prize.

spk_0 Yes.

spk_0 That's like his golden slogan for me.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 And what does that mean for you in relationships when you're like, I'm the prize.

spk_0 What does that mean?

spk_0 It just means not compromising like my values, my happiness, my peace, not settling for less than what I know I deserve.

spk_0 And not being afraid to walk away from a situation if it's like no longer serving me.

spk_0 I even feel like a lot of people could have speculated so many things in your past relationships.

spk_0 And you've always been so classy and very mums the word.

spk_0 You're like, I'm not going to be out here saying a whole lot, but if it does not serve me, I'm moving on.

spk_0 I got that.

spk_0 Now, so many things get written about you in the press.

spk_0 But I've always wanted to know what is like the biggest misconception about who Laurie Harvey is.

spk_0 It's so funny because there's because I'm so quiet.

spk_0 There's been so many stories that have been made up about me.

spk_0 Like, I've seen stories about me being like fully in love with somebody and we have like this whole relationship.

spk_0 And I'll see the guy and I'm like, I've actually never even met him before.

spk_0 Like full-blown stories I've heard.

spk_0 I've dated a father and son before.

spk_0 Not true.

spk_0 Absolutely not true.

spk_0 And I've even heard that I'm a lesbian at one point.

spk_0 So, you know, there's been a lot of different things.

spk_0 A lot of different stories, a lot of misconceptions.

spk_0 Does it entertain you?

spk_0 Oh, I think they're hilarious.

spk_0 I love the stories.

spk_0 They're very entertaining.

spk_0 I will give them that.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 Very entertaining, but I just let it roll off my shoulder.

spk_0 I love that.

spk_0 You are the founder and the CEO of a successful skincare line skin by L.A.

spk_0 Twitch, which I'm a huge fan of as well.

spk_0 Okay, what are the greatest rewards and challenges of starting a company like this?

spk_0 So I started it from the ground up by myself.

spk_0 So this was like my first baby something that I felt like I called my own.

spk_0 So I really feel like I grew a lot during this time.

spk_0 I grew like as an individual.

spk_0 I grew as a business woman.

spk_0 I went through all the first year business woes, you know, from shipments and learning customer service.

spk_0 And dealing with, you know, packages getting broken when they come from overseas.

spk_0 And you wore hands on and all that.

spk_0 I know you were specific on the packaging.

spk_0

spk_0 Would your mom involved in any of that too?

spk_0 Because I know she has a skincare line that is like skincare collection.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 And I know she probably was like, she definitely was like, I want to test everything.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 For you, like she was like my little, you know, test subject.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 She was like, tweak this, change this.

spk_0 I love this.

spk_0 Maybe not this.

spk_0 So she was like involved with me in the whole process.

spk_0 So it was amazing.

spk_0 I love seeing how it's all come together and just all the amazing things that you're doing.
