It doesn't mean there are no issues in other places on earth

But it does mean that this is the biggest of the lot and what is at stake here is something more sacred

Than you and I can imagine

So firstly we start off by saying may Allah forgive our helplessness two billion of us we were unable to save lives

may Allah forgive our helplessness and

Inability and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant them victory and return their land to them and may Allah be there for them in a way that they need right now

Yes, we do feel let down let down by each other

I know some people feel let down by myself and

People feel let down by politicians and by everyone and anyone trust me

I do not believe there is a single person on earth who believes in Allah and the last day who does not care for Palestine or for razza

Some of the areas personally to see these people and to tell them that we are here for you

And I want to address you this evening by telling you my brothers and sisters as much as I spoke about the hopelessness

Within the umma or that we feel but there is hope when we believe in Allah because I believe in something known as

When something happens to you and I what draws us apart

There were a few people taking their Shahada earlier here some of you might have noticed and I want to tell you

Thousands of people around you are taking their Shahada so if you don't take your deen seriously Allah says clearly

We will replace you with someone else
spk_0
Allah says that clearly do you want to hear the verse
spk_0
If you are going to turn away we will replace you with others and then they will not be like you
spk_0
They will be obedient if you have abandoned something you were not supposed to abandon as a Muslim
spk_0
Allah will bring about ten people as a result of your abandonment of the path of Allah who will be within
spk_0
And you would be the one who was replaced by ten others
spk_0
A hundred others and this was the Quran says my beloved brothers my sisters

You see people taking their Shahada they are coming in the dean of Allah one of the pillars of Islam is

Well, Qadri Khairihi wa sharrihi min Allahi ta'ala
spk_0
One might argue that's a pillar of Eman but Eman itself is a part of the broader Islam when you say

Ash-Hadu Allah ilaha illa Allah the first pillar of Islam
spk_0
Wa Ash-Hadu Annam Muhammadan Rasulullah
spk_0
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah and I bear witness that Nabhi Muhammad

Salallahu alayhi wa sallam is his messenger and prophet within that there is belief in the pillars of Eman
spk_0
Islam generally when you talk of Islam and the Eman
spk_0
I presume you know the difference but let me quickly mention mention it just for those who might be a little bit confused

When you say the five pillars of Islam you're talking about things you can see things that can be done things that are
spk_0
Tangible you can actually see if I say my Shahada if I fulfill my salah someone can see if I abstain or stay away from food

People can see that this person is not eating if I give my Zakat they can see if I go for Hajj they can see
spk_0
But the pillars of Eman are such that no one can see it's known by you by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and that's it

What do you believe in you can claim it?

But whether or not you actually believe in it Allah knows you know no one else knows but Islam I can see we are taught to judge each other by the Islam

The Eman is for Allah I believe in Allah I believe in the messengers I believe in the books I believe in the last day

I believe that good and bad fate comes from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and you believe in the books the messengers

All of that part of the belief in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

One of the most powerful gifts that we have is something known as well

Qadri Khairihi wa Sharrihi min Allahi Ta'ala good and bad fate
spk_0
I believe is from Allah I will not become so saddened by something negative that has happened that it will distance me from Allah

And I will not become so happy with something positive that I've gained that it will distance me from Allah because the loser is the one who
spk_0
Distances from Allah be it in loss or in profit
spk_0
So this is why when people are martyred the silver lining is that they have gennital for those
spk_0
It doesn't mean we're excited that they were martyred but there is an

ending that in Shah Allah will not be regretted by them who were in the
spk_0
Cores you and I know we are in South Africa we are in Johannesburg, Mashallah relatively safe city

Why should you be hopeful when you are told by the doctors that you have a an illness?

That will probably give you maximum a year to live when you say I believe in Allah while preparing

I'm going to try my best and who knows I've known people who were given a short time

Saying that you're not going to live beyond us years have passed. They're still alive. I know those

Why because we have a Lord?

Logic is not even something that you should worry about when it comes to your Lord

People can't afford that all the time, but now we can we

Complaining about food hey you should think about where you were 20 years ago

I never ever knew what eating out was we just had whatever my mom made in a pot and that's it

Both senses of the term strength of Eman of a believer your faith must be strong and you as a believer need to be physically fit

Yes, if there is an illness. It's a different thing

But if you are wasting yourself you ought to be told and that's what we're doing today may Allah bless us all

Allah strengthen us so

When Allah Almighty has tested us with something

May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make us more conscious of the way we use our mouths

And may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala help us to talk to one another in the most beautiful way

Allah Almighty has one very very powerful gift. I spoke about

Seeking forgiveness seeking forgiveness would be valueless if it came without hope in Allah when I say oh Allah forgive me

I have hope what's the hope Allah has forgiven me he has

Don't doubt it. I've spoken to people on their deathbeds getting back to the coffin

How do I explain to someone who's terminally ill they say will you please come my uncle or my so and so is

Unwell maybe last few moments Allah alone knows I've been to so many such people
spk_0
How do you address someone when they're in that condition they can hear you they look at you in the hospital or at home

Salamu alaikum and you can see they're really struggling

They're gonna be pale and you can see it's last moments

Maybe Allah alone knows because I had a case where they told me not more than six days

Well, Allah. He's been about six years and that guy's a friend of mine

And I prepared him for death and he always looks at me and says you
spk_0
Anyway, and well, it's true. So you never know but when you go to someone you got to do two things

Give them hoping the mercy of Allah

hoping the mercy of Allah

Erning forgiveness and going to paradise on one hand and forgetting cured on the other
spk_0
So you have to go and say Allah will cure you Allah will grant you the miracle Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is all able all capable

What you're saying is the dua it's a dua

and you have conviction I'm convinced Allah can get you up
spk_0
And you will have no illness and I'm going to come back and we're going to meet and inshallah
spk_0
We will sit and have a cup of tea together. What am I doing? I'm building this person

Their faith and conviction can Allah not cure you Allah can cure you
spk_0
Can Allah not cure you even if you're on your last moments according to medicine
spk_0
Allah can get you up from that completely
spk_0
in an instant
spk_0
So when you say Allah grant me cure you say oh Allah. I know you will cure
spk_0
I know you can cure give me the cure. Oh Allah help me. Oh Allah give me life
spk_0
Why give me life? Oh Allah. I want to do more good deeds. I have children. I have so so so so so many people say

What's going to happen to my children?

Well, Allah in my brother your children Allah will take care of them
spk_0
People are worried and then when they get a little bit older they worried my grandchildren

Oh Allah my great your grandchildren now you graduated mashallah tabarakallah

And after that they say oh Allah at least let me see one great grandchild

How did it help you to see your one great grandchild? You say oh Allah grant me goodness
spk_0
Let me stay if you know it's better for me to stay. Oh, it's not an easy to ask

Oh Allah take me away when you know it's better for me to go
spk_0
What if to go is right here and right now

You ready? Few people will say yes, you know before I used to ask people

Who wants to go to jannah? Okay, let me ask you who wants to go to jannah put up your hands high

Allah Akbar amin Allah grant us all jannah to the fair dose
spk_0
I'm convinced that inshaAllah we will be there the only
spk_0
Problem is we better not go via jannah because that's a major issue
spk_0
Allah grant us jannah without jannah in it meaning without jannah in the on the way to it

How many of you would like to die now probably hands

You see we've got a few hands. Okay, put your hands down. Never mind. You don't need to want to die right now

It's just a question

The point is you cannot go to jannah without passing away and you know you know not to pass away

But you want the jannah how is that gonna happen?

So this is the point I was raising that people

Don't realize that in order to get to paradise you need to go

At that point we have hope in Allah that oh Allah grant me grant me good health grant me cure grant me a life

Grant me strength and so on on one hand and the other hand

Oh Allah forgive me grant me jannah to the fair dose oh Allah when you take me away take me with shahada and so on

So these are the two things that I did and I continue to do and we should be doing and we should also have it within ourselves

As much as I want to live and I ask Allah for the goodness

But I also want to ask Allah for a good death whenever you take me give me a good death

The rest of the world

Your relatives your family members and so on do you know what they'll get on with life
