Here's what's happening today in America, the Insurrection Act.

Where is the National Guard deployed?

Latin King's leader arrested, and this might be a major cause of car accidents that's

all coming up.

But first, the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, accused the Trump administration of staging
spk_0
a military style invasion of Chicago.

He said, quote, let me be clear, Donald Trump is using our service members as political
spk_0
props and his pawns and as illegal effort to militarize our nation's cities.
spk_0
He then played at this press conference, he played a video of an ice raid at an apartment
spk_0
building.
spk_0
He said they brought black hawk helicopters and more than a hundred agents in full tactical
spk_0
gear.
spk_0
He said in the dead of night and seemingly for the cameras, armed federal agents emerged
spk_0
from the black hawk helicopters, repelling onto the roof of that apartment building.

This wasn't like a behind the scenes revelation that JB Pritzker was shown, Christie
spk_0
known posted the video herself two days ago.

The governor said that the president is doing this to get a rise, quote, to create the
spk_0
pretext for invoking the Insurrection Act so he can send military troops to our city.
spk_0
Trump said he does not yet see the need for the Insurrection Act, quote, but if I had to
spk_0
enact it, I do it.
spk_0
If people were being killed and courts were holding us up or governors or mayors were holding
spk_0
us up, Stephen Miller said the struggle that's taking place right now is between the lawful
spk_0
exercise of power by the American people through a duly elected government versus the
spk_0
unlawful exercise of street violence in the form of domestic terrorism.

So where is the National Guard right now?
spk_0
They are currently deployed in Washington, DC, Memphis and LA.
spk_0
Chicago has a lawsuit pending to stop the guard.
spk_0
Portland's deployment was halted by the courts, but as we reported the other day, Trump
spk_0
just called the California National Guard, sent them to Portland.
spk_0
Other plan deployments of National Guard include Shereport, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Related news, federal agents of Chicago arrested a suspected Latin King's leader accused
spk_0
of offering cash bounties to capture and kill a senior immigration officer working
spk_0
on Operation Midway Blitz in Chicago.

The accusation is he sent a Snapchat message saying 2k on information when you get them
spk_0
and 10k if you take them down.
spk_0
And the message had a photo of this officer.

A new study from Wright State University published in the Journal of the American College
spk_0
of Surgeons reviewed data for 246 deceased Ohio drivers and the researchers determined
spk_0
that 42% of victims of fatal car accidents over the past 6 years had marijuana in their
spk_0
system.
