spk_0 I'm review the Ptox that's P-E T-O-X core mini smoke removal replacement filter for all that's a brand name

spk_0 Air Pure Fires this is a 3-in-1 high-efficiency H-13 true-happ of

spk_0 activated carbon filter

spk_0 These things are well reviewed premium core mini replacement filters as I'm supposed

spk_0 Specifically compatible with Levoit core mini and core mini P air purifier to maintain the same effectiveness and efficiency as the original filter

spk_0 So the reason I reviewed this is I have an air filter. I thought these would fit my current model, but they don't

spk_0 But I realize you have to change these often

spk_0 Like I don't know I don't know if it's once a month, but maybe at least once every two months and each filter is at least like $10

spk_0 So the price adds up and the reason I this one this company caught my attention is you get four filters

spk_0 For only $30 that's the current price and so it's very reasonable and you save a lot of money

spk_0 So I was curious to see if these are gonna replace my current filters, but they didn't fit

spk_0 So I bought this a lavoit air filter looks really nice off eBay

spk_0 So yeah excited to test it out. It looks actually brand new. I got a great deal on it

spk_0 So let's open it up see what's inside and see if these things actually work. I'll test them out

spk_0 For a few days and see how much dust is on these things my house is so dusty

spk_0 Especially in the summertime. It's like dust off the street from the cars gets inside the house

spk_0 And there's just a layer of dust on everything. I've noticed this more and more and

spk_0 I've a filter up or air filter up stare air purifier upstairs and

spk_0 When you take that filter out and replace it, it is absolutely disgusting

spk_0 So let's open the thing up see what's inside the first thing I notice is it's heavier than my current filter

spk_0 There's there's quite a bit of weight to this which I guess is a good sign

spk_0 It has a layer on the outside and then a black layer on the inside not sure if that's carbon

spk_0 But it does feel well constructed. It's not like flimsy or anything like that. There's plastic on the top right here

spk_0 It kind of looks like your standard around air filter

spk_0 But yeah, let's see how it installs and once again to get four of them so one two

spk_0 three and four

spk_0 They even have these like

spk_0 You can put these on your air filters

spk_0 But you put kind of like fragrance, you know

spk_0 Essential oil and you can make your you know when you run your air filter

spk_0 Give it a nice set so they even included some of those. It's really nice to see

spk_0 bottle touch

spk_0 All right, so all you have to do these things are very simple basically you're just running air through a filter

spk_0 I mean when you look at these products they look pretty advanced the price makes you think they're advanced

spk_0 But it's very simple all it is is a motor usually it's a lightweight motor. This is pretty light

spk_0 On off switch, you know fan speed and it just runs air through the filter. I mean the filter is probably

spk_0 The most advanced piece all right, so goes in like so

spk_0 click on the top

spk_0 And you're ready to go so very simple

spk_0 This is definitely even simpler to my than my

spk_0 Okay, so cool look at that. So that's where it goes

spk_0 So I'm gonna replace I didn't even realize that

spk_0 But that's where the scent

spk_0 Sponge goes these are just like little sponges if you put the essential oil on and

spk_0 I didn't even know that had that little slot there so

spk_0 That is a cool thoughtful touch

spk_0 clicks in like so

spk_0 All right, let's turn it on

spk_0 So I changed the filter

spk_0 Usually when you're you've changed the filter you can press

spk_0 Top button for a while and then have it

spk_0 You have to let the machine know that you've changed the filter

spk_0 Let's see I don't know how you do that there we go so you hold it down

spk_0 The power button on these little void this little void mini and

spk_0 And you can get the because it turns red we need to replace the filter and

spk_0 Now it's clean and then once this is full the filter

spk_0 They'll turn red again, so when it's when it's ready to go and needs a replacement

spk_0 So let me just show you I'm gonna turn it off again

spk_0 Goes in like so

spk_0 You click it on turn it on

spk_0 And it kind of sucks air through all these holes right here and then blows out the top

spk_0 So very simple design

spk_0 I'm gonna leave it running for a few days and see if it actually caught some dirt some dust

spk_0 I'm gonna leave in the living room very dusty here and here we go. All right, so it's been running for two days straight

spk_0 24-7 so let's see what this filter looks like see if it's got any dirt like I said the house is really dusty

spk_0 Not really sure why it's so dusty, but definitely nice to have another filter downstairs

spk_0 So let's open up see what the single looks like

spk_0 The filter open up for the first time here we go

spk_0 And yeah, maybe I can see a little bit of dust you can see kind of a

spk_0 discoloration

spk_0 So definitely like maybe a little bit tan you know brown a little bit a little bit of dust

spk_0 Not quite as white as it was before let's compare it to an original all right, so I'm gonna take a original out of the box

spk_0 And yeah, you can kind of see the difference

spk_0 You probably it looks like you can see it in camera

spk_0 But you see how this is kind of brown it's already collecting dust inside his box

spk_0 You can't really tell but yeah, look at how white this one is and compared to the one this has been running for two days straight

spk_0 24 hours a day and see that's already getting dirt

spk_0 So yeah, if you're looking for an alternative for your Levoit, you know if it alternative filter for your Levoit

spk_0 Airpure fires and there's you know check out the listing for compatible models, but

spk_0 Yeah, Levoit is the one they have listed

spk_0 I think this is a great alternative at a good price point. These are substantial filters

spk_0 You know, there's they're heavy weight and I can already see their collecting dust in just two days

spk_0 So I would recommend them you get four per box and you can't beat the price
