I can't believe I'm saying that, but 33rd listener episode of the podcast where we share the stories you submitted. And our guest for this listener episode is none other than Jill Stanley from the Common Mystics. I would say, Jill, that you're my favorite one of the sisters. But don't tell Jen.

Just. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I'm just kidding. You both are my favorites. But how have you been? We, We've. We've been con. You know, we stay in contact for so long, but then at the same time we, we don't talk. So what's been going on?
Speaker C
Oh, it's been, it's been a year, but we're gonna be positive. And it's just, you know, it feels like there's a lot of energy in this world that's like draining us. Just like a lot of things happening. And I get, when I do readings, I find that too, that people feel like they're just completely, like too much of their energy is going out. So I think I need to take a step back.
Speaker A
Yeah. And then. And that we need to be recharged and stuff. Do you find. Because I know you have a full time job and then do the podcast and you do readings. So pretty much like what I was doing up until a few months ago. But have you seen any sort of themes or anything with your readings with people? You know how sometimes they can be. They feel, I don't want to say awkward, but random and then yet you're able to piece it together later.

People want to be doing more meaningful things with their time and they just don't know what direction to go to. So that's really been like, am I spending the right amount of time learning this? Or where should I focus? Or how can I get the best meaning out of my life? That's really, that's happening a lot. This Year.

And how's the podcast been? It's good, because you guys. You guys are about, like, a year, I want to say. I started mine maybe a year before, and then you did. I don't know. It was around the same time, about. But do you feel like there's this inflection point or anything with your podcast? How. How's it grown since you started?

I feel like. I know this is ridiculous, but the point of our podcast is to give voice to the voiceless spirits. And it just feels like we've gotten so much love and support from the spirit world with this podcast, so. And, like, we get little signs all the time. Sometimes we get discouraged.

We're like, is anyone listening?

And then we'll get, like, a very clear sign from spirit that, yes, keep this up. It's like the spirits on the other side are our biggest cheerleaders. So that's been nice.

Yeah. Well, I still love the history. I also love the way that you both tell stories and that you go about it, so thank you for all that. Okay, so, Jill, you've obviously been listening to the podcast. You know how this works. I'm going to hand it over to you. And we were. We are going to dive into some. Some of the listener submissions.

This is a good one. It gives me goosebumps. Okay. This story was submitted by an anonymous listener with the subject, A Tie that Binds. Hi there. I have many, many stories, and I'm someone who always had a deep connection with the spirit world and my guides. I felt called to share this. In particular, I had a dream one night about my friends. I have known him since birth, and we're about the same age, and I feel as though we had some telepathic communications, but I never have asked him about it in person. We tend to communicate silently, always just knowing what the other needs or thinking without ever having to use our voice. In this dream, if you can call it that, I sort of sat up in bed and looked to my left. There was a cord of some kind. It was white in color, thick in the middle and towards the edges. It slowly faded into a glow, similar to how the moon has a halo. This cord was somehow attached to me, though I couldn't pinpoint where. Fascinated, I followed the cord, and it led me out of my bedroom. Immediately after exiting my bedroom door, all I could see and feel was a white, glimmering rush of energy. It felt like a gust of wind surrounded me and lifted me through space. After a moment, the energy began to fade, similarly to how fog or smoke Dissipates. Then I saw my friend. He was sitting in his garage and the cord I had followed was flowing into his center. His chest and his abdomen were glowing from the connection of the cord. He seemed genuinely upset, but I was unsure of what and all I could feel was hollowness. His aura looked depleted. I'm able to see auras in daily life, but I have never noticed them. In a dream I saw him crying gently and I didn't know how to help. He couldn't hear me or see me and I couldn't get his attention. The only thing I wanted to do was hug him. Suddenly, that same rush that I had felt before had started coming back and I panicked slightly because I truly wanted to help him, not just witness his pain. I sort of rushed towards him. It didn't feel like walking, it felt more like floating. And as I got closer to him, the pull of that rush felt stronger. I stood behind him and wrapped my arms around his shoulders and chest in a tight hug. I felt a surge of energy between us and the light of the cord brightened As I hugged him. My only thought was to fill him with love. As I did this, the light grew brighter and so did the rush of energy. It felt as though it would sweep me away. So I gave him one last squeeze and I felt him release some tension and relax a bit. I felt as though the love I poured into him was received and I let go. I was being pulled back. I watched him turn to look at me with a puzzled look on his face. The white energy engulfed me again and I felt a jolt in my body. I woke up in my bed in my bedroom and sat up straight out of bed. There were no lights, my door was closed. Things were quiet. I've never asked him about it and have never had that experience again. I do believe that he and I spent many lives together and when I think about him I hear the word twin. I'm not sure what it means. I'm not sure if it means we were twins in our previous lives and and we are separated in this one or if our souls are entwined similar to how twins are. I hope to hear your thoughts on this. Story Sending Love I'm not normally without words, but this story has puzzled me a bit because I have a couple different thoughts. But I wanted to hear what you think first.

I think their connection is so strong and I don't know if he knew it, but he was calling out to her in in agony. And that awareness of her brought her to him. And I honestly. And I'm getting goosebumps. I feel like she saved his life that night. I really do. I feel like he was in the depths of despair and he was hurting so badly and her recognizing it and that connection was able to fill him with love, so he was able to move forward on this plane.

That gave me chills too. And I would say that the way that my spirit team has explained dreams to me is that we process. It is an opportunity for us when we are in that dream state, whether it's emotional or mental, because there's only so much we can do in our day to day basis. But when we're in that dream state, that happens. But then also there's a lot of spiritual work and energy work that still happens as well. And I was literally just talking with somebody else on a podcast episode about this and how we go about our.

Day to day lives.

And we don't think all the time about how we get energetically connected to people, even if they're, you know, random people or people that we are, you know, connected to in our day to day. Our sisters, our brothers, our moms, our friends, all of that. So I feel you a thousand percent on that. And ultimately I would also say that trust your gut. So if she says, I keep hearing the word twin, first of all, you have that Clairaudian ability and you're hearing it, but also you're gonna know and understand that connection with that person and what that means. I'm not a firm believer in twin flames or twin souls like I like. And I'm not disparaging anyone that thinks differently other than. But I do think that we do have these deeper bonds, these soulmate connections with our friends, our family and lovers as well. And maybe she has also that. So when she's hearing twin, it could be, I'm getting, yes, past life, but also that they just have a deeper bond and a soulmate connection, so to speak.

I, I totally agree with you a hundred percent. That's completely feels right to me. I also feel like this is a good demonstration of how like sending love. Like it's almost like she gave us insight into how the spiritual world works that we otherwise wouldn't have known and how.

And in this moment, like in that dream, she probably didn't have control over it, but even as she woke up, what she would be empowered to do after the fact, you know, so would you not.

I can't understand how she doesn't say anything to him, not not about that night, but like, just to be like, are we.

That would have been my first thing. Like I woke up. That's not how text messages work. Yeah, like, like, dude, were you just.

Wouldn't it be cool if the two of them can get together and like work together on this and their connection and to like pull each other in whenever they need each other, like from corners of the world. I just think that the awareness is. And the possibilities are endless.

Yeah, no, I also think it's a good moment in conversation too for people to consider. There are people that we're connected to that maybe we don't necessarily know as much. So like my. I know you and Jen are very bonded. My sister and I, not so much. I mean, we're 10 years apart and so I'm more of a mom and she's more my daughter than sister sister type of relationship. But even if she doesn't share things with me, I feel it. And there are friends of mine that I stay in touch with. Maybe I haven't talked to them for years and years, but I can still pick up on things. So to your point about maybe they work together and see what that looks like. But also keep that in mind. You don't have to always even have a dream or have it connected to a particular person. If you're going through something emotionally and you're like, hey, this is not mine, or there's no really, there's no real reason for me to be experiencing these things and you pick up and you know that later. I've always found in hindsight it's connected to somebody that I'm somewhat, you know, close to or what have you. And so maybe consider that too.

I think the best message that comes out of this story is that even when we think we're alone, we're never alone.

I thought this would be a fun story to share when I recently heard that you've seen celebrated your podcast sixth anniversary in June. Thank you. I appreciate that. My story happened right after I discovered your podcast. I can't even recall how I stumbled upon your show almost two years ago. I wasn't an avid podcast listener back then either, and I think your podcast is what turned me on to podcasts. Anyway, the first time I tuned into your show was back in August of 2023. I pressed play on a Listener Stories episode during my commute. Or one of the stories was about a listener mentioning Sylvia Brown, who, according to her, if you want to know if Mother God was around, just ask for a rose and you shall receive one in seven days. The listener asked for and got her white rose, just not in the literal sense that she expected. I loved Sylvia Browne back in the day, and that's why the story really caught my attention. I thought to myself, okay, let me ask the universe to send me a rose too, just for fun. Specifically a peach rose, since that is my favorite kind. I didn't even know those existed. Peach roses exist. Oh Yeah, I guess. I guess they do any color, right? I laughed at myself. How silly I was being during my commute home, but also hopeful that I would somehow receive a peach rose. The next day, while I was at work, my best friend messaged me on our daily chat. She told me she just ordered. Oh my gosh, I'm going to butcher this. Is that likey rose tea drink? Is that how you say it, girl?

Lychee. I think it's lychee. Yeah. Sorry guys. All right, everybody. A lychee rose tea drink and how huge it was, along with a photo. I didn't think anything of it and I went on with my work. A couple of hours later, I walked back to my work desk. I felt like a thought that wasn't my own was literally dropped in my head out of nowhere. Almost like saying hello, rose tea. I say that because I was deep in thought, thinking about something work related. Then I realized the rose tea drink was peach colored. I excitedly messaged her back, telling her about the listener story I just heard on your podcast and how I asked for a peach rose. Her response? Oh, weird. And it has roses in it. Surely enough, the rose tea drink had tiny roses and shades of pink and peach. And as a bonus, my friend was also wearing a peach blouse. She sent me a photo of the roses and her shirt. I've never seen a drink with roses in it. At that moment, I knew this was the peach rose I asked for. I am no stranger to the spiritual and divine. My family and I have had lots of experiences that have been hard to explain, but that's a story for another time. I do believe, however, that I found your podcast for a reason. After about a year of consistently listening to your show, I lost my aunt, who is very near and dear to me. Your podcast truly helped me see the signs and feel the energy of my beloved aunt, who undoubtedly made her presence felt after she passed. Maybe someday I'll feel compelled to share. Thank you. Well, I will say, first of all, so sorry for the loss of your aunt. It is never easy when we lose someone, whether that is a human, a pet, animal, what have you. But also, thank you so much for sharing this because I think this is A beautiful example of how we ask for a sign or some sort of synchronicity, and then here we are, and it shows up inside Bates, and she didn't even necessarily understand or know the connections to it. And I probably should have looked that up. Lychee. Lychee with the tea and all of that. But then how specific that was, too. You know, I know what's interesting about.

It is that she didn't discount it because it wasn't an actual rose. You know what I mean? It wasn't a physical mode. I am so impressed that she was able to be like, yes, this is definitely what I asked for.

And I think that. That we sometimes we get caught up in, like, what we think the sign's going to be instead of just experiencing the sign.

Yeah. And also what I've said before on here is that also we usually follow up with a signier sign. So we want, like, that we want the confirmation after the sign or the validation after the sign. But I. I do think that it's important to call out, too, when you ask for something. It's really about. All right, I'm going to now pay attention to see how that may come through. It could come through in song. It could come through with somebody saying something to you. Yes. In this case, there was also something on that person's shirt or whatever else it is. It doesn't always. It's not like the literal what you're visualizing or thinking that you want it to come through. So good on her for that and for anyone that's learning and wanting to understand the language of the universe or how that works. That's truly how it works. It may show up in these smaller or even bigger ways as things unfold.

I love it. I lost my aunt about 20 years ago, and it's so hard when you lose an aunt because they're like the act, the cool parent. You know what I mean? They're like the fun parent. So you like. You're like, man, yeah. So I'm sorry about the loss of your aunt, but I'm so grateful that you're experiencing her love and so spirit. Although she's passed on.

Well, I don't have children and I have two nephews, so I am not looking forward to the day that that happens. But I'm going to be that fun aunt from the other side that drops in no matter what.

Hi, Nicole, My name is Vanessa. I am from Arizona. I just sat down listening to one of listener episodes about messages from loved ones that passed away. And I was really called to share my story about back in 2012. Two grandmothers of mine. One is a step grandmother. I don't consider her a step. She is my grandmother and my maternal grandmother. They were both diagnosed with camphor. My grandmother, I have one grandmother that lived in California and one grandmother in Mexico. My grandmother in California took a turn and she was declining pretty fast, though she had passed away, unfortunately. And we, my mom, my sisters and I went out to her funeral. Of course, as you can expect, heartbroken, a mess, all that stuff. After we came home from her funeral, we came back to Arizona. And that night I just had this feeling, a bit of something around me. I went to sleep and during my sleep, I had this dream, Very, very vivid dream. We were basically back at the funeral, Thanksgiving, everything. I was sitting there just crying, and I was looking down at my grandmother's casket. I look up and I see this bright white light, just really bright, just shining from her casket. Next thing you know, I feel an arm, a hand touch my arm. I turn to my right and it was my grandmother. Her name is Wilma. She had told me not to cry. She's not suffering anymore and she is in a very good place. She looked very healthy, extremely healthy, very young. She was full of love and light, like I could just. I can feel it. I can feel, see it. She was there. And then a little after she had mentioned that, she said, I will show her the way. I will show her the way. And I didn't know what that meant. And I said, grandma, what does that mean? And then next thing you know, she said it again. I will show her the way, honey. And then she was gone. After she was gone, I woke up out of my sleep panting because I wasn't sure what was going on. Well, fast forward to a week later. Got a call from my family in Mexico. My grandmother passed away. My ama. She passed away a week after my grandma Wilma's funeral. And I sat there whenever I heard the news that she had passed away. I just had this vision of my grandmother Wilma and my amma. I call her my ma. Ma Rolfa. Standing together. And in this vision, they were both holding hands. And my grandma Wilma said, I told you, honey, that I would show her the way. And they were both standing, holding hand in hand. They were just kind of like. So they were holding hands and then they were holding out their free hand towards me, kind of like in a prayer position. And they were shining light over our families. After that vision, I kind of went crazy after because I lost two very important people in my life. But after that, I mean, I couldn't take it as anything else. That was them. That was their essence. They were around. I mean, I've always wondered if all this was true. I definitely had a lot of experiences when I was a child of just me, see, thinking, quote, thinking I saw spirits. Of course, back then, you know, whenever I would tell somebody, they would be like, oh, you're crazy. There's no such thing. So this kind of validated me. So thank you. There.

My story, man, that made me tear up. So you're more the medium than I am.

I was going to say that I felt like she's a medium. And it's not only that, but just even in her voice you can hear like the bittersweet. Like, she hates that they're gone, but she loves that they connected and connected with her, you know.

And when you mentioned. I know you were joking, but then you were also serious about when you get signs and there's. You will say it's through a dream. Do you find that when people come to. Whether it's in your professional line of work or other people, that it's usually through dreams?
Speaker C
Well, no, Usually people come to me in my waking self. My personal family comes to me in dreams all the time. But that. It's like a personal thing. I usually don't see strangers. Although Joan Rivers had. Came to me in a dream one time.
Speaker A
Sorry, I meant more like do you find that other people, that they. That their loved ones tend to come to them in dreams?
Speaker C
Oh, yes, absolutely.
Speaker A
But wait, wait, wait. Go back. Joan Rivers. What?
Speaker C
Yes. I was devastated when she was in the hospital and she was. And then she was dying. I just was devastated. And she. It's. I did not know this at the time, but she's the kind of person that would do meals on wheels for victims of aids and she would like, surprise people. So she came, she just. I was in a room, like a banquet hall, and she walked up to me and she grabbed my hands and smiled.

Yeah.
Speaker C
And I was like, yeah, I woke up really, like, fan girling out. Yeah. But that's the only stranger.
Speaker A
Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Got it. So, sorry. So, yeah, my question was. I. I think that.
Speaker C
What.

So Scott puts these together. So he. Obviously, there's a theme here. I'm sensing now it's about dreams. And for me, I don't. I'm not a medium, so I don't ne. I mean, I. I know we all are psychic and we all can be mediums, but I don't tend to communicate with souls who have crossed over very often. When I do, it will often be in a dream and a dream state. And usually for me, and I find that our loved ones will. Will find a way symbolically to, like, at least for me, give me that sign that, hey, this is more than a dream and it usually is a door. So that door is opening up, and then as I'm opening that door, that loved one is on the other side or that loved one is opening up the door themselves and they're stepping through. Now, I'm not saying that that's going to be the case for every other single person out there that's listening, but that's how they kind of earmark it for me to distinguish it. And so that's why I was asking for you and like your clients, too, if people do tend to have these visitations in the dream. Because I think it's so amazing that for her, for Vanessa, that her grandmother, one passed, but then wanted her to know because she knew that that was going to be such a deep loss. And I'm going to show her the way. So even if it's not, I don't even know if they were close necessarily. The two grandmas, my two grandmothers, were always close on both my mom and dad's side. But ultimately they still are going to help us no matter what, especially when it's important to us.

Yeah. And I love the fact that she knew right away, like, this was real. Like, this is a real experience that I'm having. I think that for me, in my line of work, when I'm doing readings, I have to explain to people, like, no, that's real. Like, that is a. That is really happening. That's a literal thing that happened to you. And it's not your imagination. You're not making this up. You're not wishful thinking.

And that was a question she asked. So I would say, my dear, it absolutely was for you to experience that and to know it well and play.
Speaker C
With it now that you know, like, you're a medium. Play with it, experience it. Ask your grandmas on the other side to be like your filter and to work with them to get more experiences. Don't let it be the only one. This is not a spectator sport.
Speaker A
Ooh. So how would she do that? So when you say play with it, I know what you mean. But, you know, for other listeners that may not know what. What are some things that she could do?
Speaker C
She could, first of all, have pictures of her grandmothers around her house, go into meditation, ask for signs, ask for communication, and start building a trust where the doubt is creeping away. And, you know, like with the rose story that you had just read, that you can believe those signs as they're coming. They don't have to be literal. They can be, you know, a metaphor. But know that they are happening and to. Once you develop that relationship, as you keep walking past, it's like in the grass, you can start seeing the path. That's what's going to happen. She's going to be able to notice it in her everyday life without trying.

Yeah. And I do also want to say to not get frustrated if you ask your loved one for a certain sign. Do you watch Fisk? I think it's Fisk on Netflix. No.

Should I? Is it good?

I don't know. It's like one of those. Anyway, look it up if you're interested. But it was. So she's an attorney, and one of the people that was her client said, you need a dead word in contracts. And the dead word was when you have a will. If you go to a psychic, this psychic is going to be like, your word is, I don't know, purple roses or peach roses or whatever. And then that. That's how you know that they're not a scammer. And then there's not that thing. So my mom's mom, we had so many conversations, not just her and I, but with, like, our whole family, about, when you go over to the other side, grandma, these are the signs and these are the things that you need to do. One of them was, I gave her explicit permission to scare the living bejesers out of me. I was like, you. You. I was like, you can, like, come out around the corner and be like, boo. And then, you know, there's that. That woman has been on the other side for a while, and that has never happened. But she has found other ways to bring in signs to me where I know within my heart and mind and soul that is hers. So I share that because to your point about, you know, go with the photos, ask for Certain signs. Maybe you don't like the peach rose, for example. You may not get the exact thing, but you're gonna get something adjacent or you're gonna know again within that dream or within whatever that is, that that is your sign and to then stick with it. We moved into this big house as a foreclosure, and my husband and I pretty much revamped it. And then the. We've renovated, like, the whole thing and renovations pretty much finished when I got called from the hospital with my firstborn son. And he's five now. So this was five years ago. But what we noticed, like, I had some weird cases even during my pregnancy in the house with lys flickering, the chandelier flickering. I was sitting in the tub at one point in my. My bathroom, and I saw a man walk from the closet into the bathroom. I saw it as my husband, but then I looked, and the guy that I saw kind of disintegrated into the air. So my son's born, and we bring him home, and I have his crib in my bedroom next to my butt. And I put him to sleep. I locked him, and sure enough, there's a door next to him. And the door, which was latched, just flies open and slams the door. And I can hear it on the baby monitor. And this has happened multiple times. At this point, my husband was home with me, and I'm like, gosh darn it. Unlike that door again, it just keeps opening and slamming. And then I went back in there and I said, look, I was talking to whoever was there, and I said, look, you have to stop this. You know, you're scaring my baby.

Like, please stop doing, you know, the slamming of the door.

Well, anyway, so randomly throughout the years, the doors have slammed randomly. At like 2am the bathroom door will open and slam. And anyways, while rocking my son in the corner of my bedroom, I always felt like someone was standing behind me or watching me. And whenever I was in my bathroom, I felt from the same corner that someone was watching me. Well, fast forward. My son's five now, and I now have a daughter as well. And they both started having a lot of nightmares and were both scared to sleep. My son was getting to the point where he Was scared to even be in his room, which was really weird for him. He was hearing noises, and he was in the bathroom at one point, and he said he heard something that sounded like Sonic the Hedgehog, and it terrified him. So he would no longer brush his.

So at this point, I got. I was like, okay, this is serious. So I found, through a friend, a psychic who cleansed homes. And I had her come to my house, and I trusted her. She's well trusted in the community. And she's like, look, she's like, you have a portal in your bedroom.

And it's exactly where I was feeling.
Speaker E
Watched when I was rocking my baby. I felt like someone was behind me. Well, behind me was the portal, I find. And the portal was somehow portaling. Oh, and I. I forgot. There's one more thing. When my son was sleeping in his bed one night, I went up there and doors were closed. I tucked him in the bed. He was sleeping already. I went back to my bed, and when I went back to see him in the morning, both of his doors to his bathroom were wide open, like someone had slammed him. And he was like, mom. He's like, someone opened my doors last night and no one was there. So we got the house cleansed, and we're about three to four weeks out, and we've had. My kids are sleeping in their bed. They're happier. My son is brushing his teeth and playing legos in his room by himself. And I no longer feel watched and like anyone. I don't feel like anyone's in my bedroom anymore. And it's so cool to feel the difference. I'm an mps. I do feel energies. And it's really cool to be in my house now, not feeling all the energies that I was feeling before, yet.

I didn't even know I was really.

Feeling them as much as I was. So now being in the house is so much better. I sleep better. I take a bath without feeling watched. So it's really cool. And I just wanted to share that story.

That's insane to me. Yeah. So a couple things. Have you ever experienced a portal?

You know, I personally feel like some of the locations we were at.
Speaker A
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker C
But it's not a feeling that I'm, like, staying in. Like, if you. If we. If Jen and I are in the field and we feel that feeling, we get our feels on and we very quickly run. Like. Like, come on, come on. Like, getting our seatbelt on and, like, putting the car in reverse, It's Not a good feeling. It feels like Grand Central Station.

Yes, yes. So when I was younger, my dad's mom. So different mom or different grandma on the other side, she's passed. And then my dad's mom, the one. Grandma Jenny, who's been on the podcast. I was walking in our house, and it was really weird, you know, when you were a kid and you felt the magnets. That's what a portal, to me feels like physically. Like, I can't explain it in any other way. And it was in this really weird, random spot, by the way, in our house. It wasn't as if it was something that you would think it's in your door or anything else. And I remember walking by one day and, like, feeling it and going. I didn't even know what to call it. I don't think I used the words portal. Now, looking back, that's what we use in my family. But. But I go, grandma. And then you would stand there and you could feel it. And it. We were having fun with it. We could feel us getting pushed with our bodies forward and back.

That's literally in Poltergeist.

No. Yeah. But then she. And then I didn't find out this until later as I got as an adult, like, she called in a priest. She called in like. Like, it was. And then she's like, oh, yeah. And she's this, ha. We called in a priest, and this priest cleared out our house and the whole thing. And I was like, well, I didn't know. Anyway, I say all that and share all that, because I feel as if portals happen on a regular basis. But yet we discount it as these human beings when there is big energy. So I don't know, Sarah, about, like, the, you know, the people that were in your space beforehand or you in particular, or your family. But there's gonna be energy exchanges that happen, these doorways that open regardless. So that's the first thing. The other is that I also would love to ask you, Jill, about any sort of tips, because I wasn't afraid as a child, necessarily. Not because my family taught me or anything else like that. But, like, when. What are some tips? Because the thing that really stood out to me when I was listening to that story is that her kids were scared, you know, and that's. I think that that's so many. You. You tend to chalk it up to, oh, a kid's afraid of the dark, or a child, they're going through something, and yada, yada, yada. But there's very real elements to that.

I Think the scariest thing and I'm a pet owner. Like I don't have children. But the scariest thing has to be not being able to have the tools to combat whatever your child's afraid about. For me, growing up Catholic, I am all about St. Michael. St. Michael is, he's my guy. I feel like we have a really close relationship. So if I were, if I were going to give advice, I will pull in St. Michael statue, St. Michael Energy into your home and let the kids know that this is energy for some, some being that is going to protect them. And I will tell you, St. Michael is not only my go to for spiritual but in the physical world. Like one day I thought I was going to get mugged and it was St. Michael. He protects me. He's my, he's my emergency break all the way. What would you say?

I also think it's about normalizing it, you know, for kids that, that we tend to oh, you need a nightlight, go to sleep or you can kind of sleep in your parents bed and that sort of thing. And again we tend to put that underneath the whatever. But I love what you say and I, I know I've gotten some feedback from listeners where like you tend to err on the side of Christian or Catholic stuff and tips and sorry, but also not. But, but also not sorry because if that's my go to because I know it works type of thing, I'm going to do that.

It's the archetype if. Take that type of archetype in power and the strength. Yes, yes, yes.

So there's that. But also if that is not something that you feel comfortable with with I, which I under totally understand and respect. It's also about okay, not only how are you feeling but what would make you feel empowered by this. Anyway, I share that because I'm feeling like with the story in particular that I am not getting that this bedroom portal was specific to that place. I feel that that bedroom portal was specific to a family member and that it may be something that they're like opening doorways no matter where they go. And so that's why I, I strongly feel that anybody understanding this energetic work can set up at any time and clear space. So whether that's you put on classical music or you sage or you call in Michael or you do your thing. So anyway that's all that I wanted to share about that.

I think a really good point you make is to normalize it. And I think first of all her son is already braver than I Am because to be sleeping in bed and have doors opening, I would have been in my parents room at like asap. But to have him stand his ground and to be like, that's not okay. I'm trying to sleep. This is my space. Like, have him own it in that way and hopefully that will empower him to be like, no, this is my bedroom. And treat it like as if like another kid came in the room and was like trying to play with his toys. Like, no, this is my things. You need my permission to be in here. You know, maybe taking that route.

Exactly. And then I will say in this is not related to the story. I have never actually had any sort of ghostly experiences until I moved into this house. And I hear things all the time.

How are you doing? Like, how is it?

It's, it's fascinating. I don't, I want to say, like, it sounds weird, but I guess I'm sort of excited. Like even the other night I was hearing doors slam and like footsteps above me.
Speaker C
You are a very special person because I would be like listing that house asap. I'd be like, yeah, but I think.

That those are fingerprints in time. I don't think it's.

Oh, you think it's a residual.
Speaker A
I think it's residual, yeah. If, if there was anything that was in my space that I didn't give permission. But anyway, that was not what the story is, obviously. But I think that if we take any perspective and we look at it with curiosity first, which I know is hard, because if we're experiencing something and we don't, we've never experienced it before, it's hard for then us to go, wait, what, what do I do now? But at the same time, there's always a solution to it, you know, so that's what I want to share with the listeners as a whole, is that there's always a solution, no matter what. But within my little haunted house, we'll see how it evolves over time. You know, they were gone for a while and then they've come back. So. Hi. I think they went on some sort of weird vacation and then they were like, not gonna hide.

Oh, I'm totally like a slider. Meaning if I'm stressed, it amps up the activity.

Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, if I sleep over at your house, Jen and I are sleeping in the same bed for sure.

My mom, when we moved in, I did. I tell you, I don't know if I share this Ever on the podcast. But when my mom. Sonia. When I closed. My mom and I are very close, and I had four bedrooms, and she's like, I'm sleeping on the sofa in your room that first night. And I was like, that's really weird, but sure, whatever. I mean. And then the next morning, we both felt weird and off because the people were watching us. But. Yeah, but you. You both can. Can share. I'll. I'll make sure you have separate beds or couches, but you can sleep in the same room together.

No, same bed. If we're. If we know this is a confirmed haunted location. Same bed. And you can tell her that I said that. I'm like, nope, same bed.

But they don't touch anyone. I've never had any experience where they've touched anyone.

Yeah, I get touched so that, like, once in this house and then once when Jen and I were in a tavern in Kentucky and she would not let me sleep in bed with her. We'll share that story later.
