spk_0 Jai Shikrishna friends and welcome to podcast of Hindu Media Viki.
spk_0 So today's topic of discussion is how do Hindus refute the Muslim belief that Quran is
spk_0 up-or-usher?
spk_0 So we will go through the definition of up-or-usher.
spk_0 We will look at why Muslims think that Quran is up-or-usher and why it is not true.
spk_0 So let's get started.
spk_0 So just like how Hindus believe the Vedas are up-or-usher, Muslim also think that their
spk_0 Quran is up-or-usher.
spk_0 This is a traditional belief from Islam which you can see on screen.
spk_0 In fact, Muslim used to punish and kill people who thought that the Quran was created by God.
spk_0 And so Muslims strongly believe and continue to believe that Quran is up-or-usher.
spk_0 If the Quran is truly up-or-usher, then this means that Hindus have to accept the Quran
spk_0 as a valid Pramana because it stands on the same footing as Vedas.
spk_0 But now we will look at the Hindu refutation of this Muslim belief.
spk_0 So as this question is framed, first of all I don't see why Hinduism needs to refute
spk_0 Islamic belief about its own scripture because none of the Hinduism's tenets are affected
spk_0 by Islam's tenets.
spk_0 The question of refutations comes when two or more opposing parties are contending the
spk_0 same issue such as Advaitas, Vishishtra Advaitas or Devetas all subscribe to the authority
spk_0 of Vedas, Brahmasutra and Gita but differing interpretation of the statement in these scriptures.
spk_0 The scriptures of Hinduism and Islam are mutually exclusive.
spk_0 So logically speaking refutation does not make any sense.
spk_0 However, from universal point of view of comparative logic, we have trapped ourselves in a situation
spk_0 from which we cannot come out.
spk_0 We have started with a definition of Uparashya which anyone can claim for any scripture
spk_0 and which will liberate them from any burden of evidence.
spk_0 So no refutation is possible on any ground.
spk_0 Equally from this universal logical point of view, no scripture can claim to be uncreated
spk_0 or Uparashya in a little form.
spk_0 Because language is a human invention and hence an scripture which is a fixed collection of
spk_0 words is a human invention in space and time. So every scripture can be get it and located.
spk_0 So what is valid definition of Uparashya?
spk_0 In this case, if we examine the Vedas and allow it to scripture themself rather than
spk_0 to towing around them and blindly engaging in superstitious myth making, then we will be in a
spk_0 complete victorious position. Here are some examples of the words in Vedas themselves.
spk_0 Rigveda. I am a maker of mantras. My father is a doctor. My mother is a floor maker.
spk_0 For him, I designed this hive just as a carpenter design a carrier.
spk_0 How shall we offer to Agni? What kind of world should we say to him? The bright one.
spk_0 Which will be divinely acceptable.
spk_0 This totra we make for the most cared jatveda with deep meditation just like building a
spk_0 chariot. I offer this newest and most expensive ritual and words to the son of strength.
spk_0 Thus we, Gratzmadhas have designed these words for you, or Indra, just as a pathfinder makes path.
spk_0 There are hundreds of such statements in Rigveda mantras. The
spk_0 recesis is very conscious of making this extraordinary effort to which skill and meditation,
spk_0 to create or design a beautiful hive to offer to the deity. And they won't the deity to know
spk_0 that the hive is coming from them as a gift. This shows that the ancient tradition
spk_0 knew the Vedas, not as a monolithic golden book dropped from heaven or from God's mouth,
spk_0 or existing uncreated in a literal sense.
spk_0 Now, this introduces a more authentic and verifiable definition of aporysia.
spk_0 The focus is on the eternal truth, that is aporysia. Note the word or text, but the eternal truth
spk_0 that they are conveying. The races who experience the truth are teaching others the same truth
spk_0 through the Vedas, so the others may experience the same truth. The Vedas are unique because this
spk_0 is a divine vision. Through intense tapas, they have become enlightened, they have achieved
spk_0 Brahma-saksat-karak, meaning realization of ultimate reality or truth. This enlightenment occurs
spk_0 at a level beyond the mind and speech, where the races lose their individuality and experience
spk_0 the highest satchida nanda, meaning absolute existence, consciousness and bliss.
spk_0 When the races come down from this elevated spiritual state, they try to express their experience
spk_0 or vision in human language, so the vision is divine and the words are theirs. But even the words
spk_0 are so unique and inimitable, the races personally is also unique. All this seen in Rigveda itself,
spk_0 also the divine vision and expression of it in human language are a different level of speech.
spk_0 This is seen in Rigveda 1.164.45. 4 are the levels of speech which the wise people know.
spk_0 3 of them are hidden and do not stare, the 4th is what human speak.
spk_0 So, the Vedas are unique because they express the ultimate internal truth that anyone can experience.
spk_0 It is ultimate eternal truth that is aporosya. It is through expressing this aporosya truth that
spk_0 is available for everyone, that the Vedas are aporosya.
spk_0 So, why is this eternal truth is aporosya? Because it is independent of human relativity,
spk_0 it does not depend on a particular prophet, who is the only one who can access this.
spk_0 The Vedas are aporosya because they uniquely, among all other scriptures, express this aporosya truth.
spk_0 The Quran fails under all this about criteria. The Quran claims that only Muhammad is a God's
spk_0 prophet and no other human being can become prophet or connect with God.
spk_0 Claiming prophethood is a blasphemy in Islam. So, Quran's claim of authenticity is strictly
spk_0 dependent on the authenticity of Muhammad. So, Quran is strictly aporosya meaning strictly human
spk_0 dependent. So, if there is any fault or imperfection in Muhammad's character, then Quran's
spk_0 authority fails completely. Which is incidentally why Muslims are so defensive about Muhammad.
spk_0 However, the authority of Vedas is infallible because eternal truth, the express is not dependent
spk_0 on any specific human being. Anyone today can verify and confirm that the
spk_0 express the eternal truth thousands of years ago. Hence, the aporosya of Vedas is uphold.
spk_0 This is the only perspective from which you can refute the infallibility of Quran and uphold the
spk_0 infallibility of Vedas. Thank you for listening to this. I hope this thing is clear for you
spk_0 and for any action that discusses, the comment section is open for you. Thank you so much.
