spk_0 Hey, friends. I'm Rachel Glow, and I'm your host for the Hearing Jesus podcast, where I
spk_0 help you to know God and to make him known.
spk_0 Hi, Rachel. My name is Brittany, and I have a question or comment, I suppose, in regard
spk_0 to prophecy from others in Hearing God's voice. So as a Christian, I think the prophetic
spk_0 word within the Bible, I know is fully inspired by God, but sometimes one of the things
spk_0 that has kept me from really stepping into understanding that world is the fear of
spk_0 discerning whether a prophetic word from somebody is from the Lord or not. So I think if, you
spk_0 know, if a Christian walks up to another Christian and says, God told me this, and I put my
spk_0 trust in that, or I listened to it, and I say, okay, and walk down that road based off of what
spk_0 that person says, I want to ensure as a Christian that I am listening to God's voice and God's voice
spk_0 alone. And I think that we all can say things that like a line with Scripture, but trusting
spk_0 and knowing that that actually came from God and discerning when a prophetic word is given to you,
spk_0 that that is truly of the Lord and not just grasping onto something that somebody decided to say,
spk_0 even if it aligns with the word, is something that has always been kind of a barrier for me.
spk_0 So my question is, how do you know or how do you align your heart with understanding if something
spk_0 is truly from the Lord or not? Brittany, thank you so much for sending in your question, and it's
spk_0 actually a question that I've gotten a lot. There's an entire chapter in my book, Knowing God's Voice,
spk_0 about how do we know if it really is from God? How do we know if this is something that somebody
spk_0 else isn't just getting wrong? I think the thing that I want to hone in on today's episode is
spk_0 this idea around discernment. Let's be perfectly clear. In the Scriptures even, sometimes there were
spk_0 women who got it wrong. There were men who got it wrong. There's a variety of reasons why that
spk_0 happened, just like there's a variety of reasons why that happens today. And I think it's one of the
spk_0 things that the enemy uses to keep us from fully understanding or believing or operating within this
spk_0 gift. I want to read just a little bit of the book of Nehemiah, it's chapter 6 verse 14, and it's
spk_0 talking about a woman named Noah Daya, who's in the Old Testament. It says, remember also the prophet
spk_0 Noah Daya, and how she and the rest of the prophets have been trying to intimidate me.
spk_0 So if you don't know the backstory, let me remind you, Noah Daya was essentially using a false
spk_0 word from God to intimidate God's people. And so what she was doing in this case specifically was
spk_0 she was intentionally trying to cause division among the Jewish people. And so she had been
spk_0 bribed to distract Nehemiah because he was trying to rebuild the wall around the city.
spk_0 That's often one of the tactics that the enemy uses. He will pervert and twist and manipulate
spk_0 things in the name of God in order to offer this like counterfeit version of God's plan. We see that
spk_0 in a lot of things. We see that in our modern context, just like we saw it in the ancient context,
spk_0 which tells us it's one of the primary ways that the enemy does manipulate things. There's this
spk_0 counterfeit. That's one of the reasons why I say over and over in this book is that God's voice
spk_0 will never contradict God's word. God's word is the primary way that we hear his voice.
spk_0 And so if someone sends something to you that's completely contrary to what God says in his word,
spk_0 what he has already said in his word, then you know it's not God's voice. I think what it boils
spk_0 down to is you mentioned the word discernment. We have to test any kind of prophetic word that we get
spk_0 from anyone that we get, whether that is your pastor on a stage who's teaching and that can,
spk_0 in essence, be a form of a prophetic word or a word of knowledge, or if it's somebody that
spk_0 random that walks up to you on the street or if it's your mother-in-law, we always have to test that.
spk_0 Sometimes there's other reasons why people will get it wrong. Perhaps they are just spiritually
spk_0 immature and they're just learning how to operate within this gift. One of the things I recommend,
spk_0 especially if this is something that you're new to, is practicing this with a mentor or with
spk_0 somebody that you trust and that you know that's going to be honest with you. If you are somebody
spk_0 that is operating within this gift or you feel like this is a gift that the Lord is giving you,
spk_0 one of the things that you need to make sure of is that you are 100% sure that you are in line with
spk_0 God's heart and His timing before you share anything. Meaning I used to think everything was
spk_0 for everyone and I've learned over the years that I have to wait on the Lord to share something
spk_0 from somebody. I think for a lot of us, the hard part about this and we've seen this play out
spk_0 over the last month is there's never a shortage of false prophecies. I mean the reality is is there
spk_0 was a South African pastor that prophesied that the end the tribulation was going to happen or the
spk_0 rapture was going to happen on whatever that Tuesday was in September. That's not the first time
spk_0 that's happened. In fact, it really intensely happens at least once every decade where there's
spk_0 a lot of people that believe it. I mean, it happens more often than that, but it gets traction. I'd
spk_0 say once a decade. And the thing about that is it's so damaging to the body of Christ. There is
spk_0 no shortage of like discredited TV preachers that are saying all of these things or you'll be healed
spk_0 for the bottom price of $99. I think those kinds of things are the things that the enemy has used
spk_0 to place these barriers in front of us so that and I think there is wisdom in it. People like you
spk_0 are saying, you know what? I don't know. I don't know if I can trust this. Let me just tell you that
spk_0 the way that we can kind of use discernment in all of this is through our own relationship with God.
spk_0 You know, I remember years ago I was getting ready to share on stage at a church that I was at. And
spk_0 as I was getting ready to step on the stage like seconds before I was getting ready to step on the
spk_0 stage, a woman came to me and basically said that one of my kids was in danger like extreme danger.
spk_0 And there was nothing I could do. It was literally seconds before I got on the stage and my
spk_0 child was not with me. She was lying in the building. And I didn't have time to go call my husband.
spk_0 I didn't have time to go check on her. I literally had to step on the stage. And in that moment,
spk_0 it was so nerve-wracking, I had to say a quick prayer and trust my daughter to the Holy Spirit.
spk_0 And that's the Holy Spirit to intervene. Now fast forward, there was nothing wrong. The nothing
spk_0 happened. My daughter was not in any kind of danger. I don't know from that woman. If it was
spk_0 immaturity, I don't know where she was at. I don't know what her theology was. But what I can tell you
spk_0 is that if the Lord had given me a specific word, something like that, I would not deliver it.
spk_0 The moment before somebody was getting ready to go get on stage, to preach salvation, to a bunch of
spk_0 people. And so what I believe is that in that moment, that was an attack from the enemy.
spk_0 The Holy Spirit took care of that for me. And I think that's what I want you to hone in on.
spk_0 Is that you have the Holy Spirit inside you. If you were a follower of Jesus, if you have
spk_0 made Jesus Christ, Lord of your life, if you've invited him into your life and you've surrendered
spk_0 to him, then you have the Holy Spirit. You can ask the Holy Spirit for direction and wisdom
spk_0 and guidance on this. This incident that I had, and that's not the only one that just one of many
spk_0 that I'm using as an example. But what that did is help me understand that we have to on both
spk_0 sides of this number one, make sure that we know it really is a word from the Lord before we share it.
spk_0 And number two, we have to look through the lens of the Holy Spirit before we make any kind of
spk_0 opinion or decision about. But what I want to caution you against is just kind of throwing the
spk_0 baby out with the bathwater because we learn from the New Testament that the gift of prophecy
spk_0 really is a gift that is meant to edify and exhort and console the body of Christ. And there's
spk_0 this whole aspect of the Holy Spirit that we miss out on when we don't understand or we don't
spk_0 acknowledge that gift. I think first and foremost, if we're going to get real practical and
spk_0 tactical, number one, I think you need to be really discerning about who you let speak into your
spk_0 life. I was at an event not too long ago. And I think they meant well, I think it was a little bit
spk_0 of spiritual maturity, but you know that they that they did this or maybe it's a difference between maybe
spk_0 something that's maybe understanding the gifts of the Spirit versus not understanding the gifts of
spk_0 the Spirit, but they had an anointing as part of this event. And they had people kind of hopping
spk_0 around table to table. And one of their activities was you were supposed to annoy this other person.
spk_0 They have this anointing oil there. And so the one girl went to anoint me and I said, no, thank you.
spk_0 And they're kind of everybody kind of looked at me oddly. And I said, I'm sorry, but I don't know
spk_0 you. I don't know where you're at spiritually. I don't know who you are. I don't know anything
spk_0 about you. And I'm not going to take an anointing from you. I have my anointing from the Holy Spirit.
spk_0 And I only allow people that I know that have a right relationship with the Lord to pray over me
spk_0 or to anoint me with oil because and and you might think that that's extreme. And I actually in
spk_0 that situation, they thought I was being extreme. I don't care. If I would allow somebody that was
spk_0 not a believer to anoint my head with oil, there's a spiritual impact. If we believe that there's
spk_0 a spiritual impact anointing, then we have to recognize that not everybody should be anointing
spk_0 us. You know, if that person, you know, she was there. And you know, I believe that she probably
spk_0 was innocent. And she, you know, it would have been fine. But I have a responsibility to you guys
spk_0 to my children, to my family, to the people that I lead to my church to make sure that I'm cautious
spk_0 about who I allow to speak into my life physically, emotionally, spiritually. The reality is,
spk_0 is not every person that says God told me, quote unquote, is speaking on behalf of God. We see that
spk_0 with Noah, Daya in scripture, even though she was known in that community as a prophet, she was
spk_0 called a prophet, maybe at one point she was and now she wasn't because she she got sold out for
spk_0 the money. We don't know the exact scenario because there's really only one sentence about her.
spk_0 But we live in a world where spiritual language gets thrown around really loosely even inside the
spk_0 church. So there have been situations where I have walked into a church and somebody that was
spk_0 called a prophet was charging $25 to pray for for everybody. And there was a line and you had to
spk_0 hand them your $25 and then he would pray for you. I'm sorry. That's not okay.
spk_0 Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things, eating well, exercising, even taking
spk_0 your supplements and you still just feel tired? I get it. I was there too. That's when I started
spk_0 taking the might up your gummies from timeline. These are the first ever longevity gummies and

spk_0 The title profit or the title pastor. That might carry weight, but it doesn't automatically
spk_0 mean that someone's heart is in alignment with God. To be perfectly honest, there are pastors whose
spk_0 hearts are not in alignment with God. You need to test that through the witness of the Holy Spirit
spk_0 in your own life through the scriptures. Even in the book of Nehemiah, we see people with titles
spk_0 that are being used by the enemy to bring fear and division and confusion. Nehemiah wasn't just
spk_0 being opposed by these political enemies. He was being spiritually harassed by someone who claimed
spk_0 to be a prophet of God. It's a sobering reminder, but to be perfectly honest, I happened to me
spk_0 yesterday. I sent an email yesterday and I had somebody who's part of was part of my email list
spk_0 that responded to me and had something really, really nasty to say. And to be perfectly honest,
spk_0 the moment I read it, I was like, oh, that's a demon. I could see it coming across.
spk_0 I had a hard day yesterday, emotionally, spiritually. I had a hard day yesterday. There was
spk_0 something going on with me personally. And it never seems to fail. The moment I'm vulnerable,
spk_0 the enemy knows how to kick you while you're down. And I kindly responded to her and I said,
spk_0 you know what? We can disagree as part of the body of Christ. We can disagree and still be kind
spk_0 to each other. And then another attack came. And so I kindly but firmly removed her from my email
spk_0 list because I'm not going to entertain a false witness from the Lord. I'm not going to entertain
spk_0 somebody attacking me for speaking the scriptures. The reality is, is the gospel is offensive to some
spk_0 people. If you were not living for the Lord, the gospel is offensive to some people. It also means
spk_0 that when you are out loud living for the Lord, the enemy wants to attack you. I mean, scripture
spk_0 says that the enemy is prowling around like a lion looking for who to devour. So if he can trip
spk_0 you up with a false word, he will. So it's really important that we make sure that we are testing
spk_0 the spirit. We are testing the words that somebody is saying. And it's okay to set boundaries
spk_0 around who you allow to speak into your life. Now that doesn't mean be suspicious of everyone.
spk_0 And I'm not suspicious of everyone, but it does mean to be wise and to prayerfully consider
spk_0 who you allow to speak in your life. And you don't have to be polite to be obedient to God. I mean,
spk_0 you're not dishonoring someone by testing what they say. In fact, scripture commands us to do that.
spk_0 And so it's an act of spiritual maturity to weigh every word carefully, whether it's a prophetic
spk_0 word given directly to you or something you hear on a podcast or on a platform, you should always
spk_0 be doing that. But I said this and I feel like I've said it a hundred times, but I'm going to say it
spk_0 again. God's voice will never contradict God's word. Okay. And yesterday in that email that I got,
spk_0 she was essentially, she basically said Jesus was a liar. He called Jesus a liar. And I'm like,
spk_0 lady, you're on dangerous territory right now because the fact that you're saying that to me for
spk_0 the hearing Jesus podcast, like, I don't know, I don't know what kind of demon came over you, but you
spk_0 you got off the wrong side of bed this morning. If you think that I'm going to tolerate that,
spk_0 like we're not calling Jesus a liar in this wheelhouse. And I'm going to set you straight. And
spk_0 she didn't like it. But the reality is is that is the most important anchor in discerning the truth.
spk_0 And so if someone says something to you, you always, always, always go back to God's word because
spk_0 God will never say something to someone to share that with you that would violate what he's already
spk_0 said in his word. And so if someone claims that God told them something that is a contradiction
spk_0 description, like what happened to me in that email conversation yesterday, even if it's twisted
spk_0 just slightly enough to kind of pursue their own personal agenda, that's a red flag because
spk_0 God's character and God's nature does not change. God's word does not change. And so he isn't confused.
spk_0 It's not like he's going to tell one person something in scripture and then tell somebody else
spk_0 something that undermines what he is clearly communicated to his people for generations.
spk_0 That's why we need to know the word. We need to know what it says. We have to be grounded in
spk_0 scripture because when we are grounded in scripture, when that woman yesterday basically attacked me
spk_0 and said that Jesus was a liar, I went back to her with God's word. Scripture interprets scripture.
spk_0 We're not going to say that Jesus is the way the truth and the life in the gospels, but then
spk_0 call him a liar because somebody else had a new revelation, a new prophetic word from the word.
spk_0 That is not the way it works and it's a manipulation of both the word and the Holy Spirit.
spk_0 So if we know the word, if we know Jesus, if we know his voice, if we're grounded in scripture,
spk_0 then you're going to be a lot less likely to be swayed by things like emotional manipulation
spk_0 or even a really charismatic delivery or just language that sounds spiritual because that's
spk_0 the thing that the enemy loves to do. He loves to camouflage lies and a lot of times he will do it
spk_0 with this quote-unquote spiritual vocabulary. He'll make it sound really good, but it's actually a lie.
spk_0 That's exactly how any kind of deception works. It's not obvious. It sounds almost right, but if it
spk_0 deviates even a little from God's heart and the truth of the word, then it's not him. That's how you
spk_0 know. And so if you want to grow in your ability to hear God more clearly, you have to start by
spk_0 saturating yourself in his word. His voice sounds like his word. He's called the word for a reason.
spk_0 And so the more familiar you are with scripture, the easier it will be to recognize
spk_0 not just when it is the truth, but when it's not the truth, when there's a mismatch.
spk_0 The other thing I want you to remember is real prophetic words never add to or take away or replace
spk_0 scripture. And so sometimes people will present something as this new revelation or a deeper truth
spk_0 that's somehow more important than the Bible. That is incredibly dangerous. The Bible is complete.
spk_0 It is the final authority. It is sufficient. So a prophetic word might highlight something
spk_0 that's already present in God's word. And so that might bring you some personal encouragement
spk_0 or there's an insight or direction or confirmation of something the Lord's already been telling you.
spk_0 But it's never going to override or update what God has already established in scripture.
spk_0 You know, this is kind of a funny example, but somebody that my husband works with, she's a younger
spk_0 girl. As she knows my husband, he, so he works and he runs a hospital, but he also is former
spk_0 military and he's got a seminary degree as well. And so when people find out that he has this
spk_0 pastoral degree, they come to him and they talk to him about God. It's kind of a natural thing that
spk_0 happens. And so she came to him one day and she said, you know, I wouldn't mind the Bible, but like,
spk_0 they really need to update that thing because like it's, it doesn't talk about all the modern stuff.
spk_0 And he's like, girl, that ain't no, it works. You don't just go updating God's word. And so that's
spk_0 kind of a funny blatant obvious example. But the point is, as somebody says to you, well, God showed
spk_0 me something brand new that no one else has ever seen before. And it's not even in God's word or
spk_0 it changes God's word, you know, when Jesus himself says, you know, a really recent example, when Jesus
spk_0 himself says that he doesn't know when he's coming back, only the father knows. But then somebody
spk_0 prophesies that they know, okay, well, if Jesus himself says he doesn't know, we're not going to have
spk_0 some random person all of a sudden know. Like that's not how it's going to work. Or sometimes,
spk_0 you know, you'll hear this theory about, you know, you circle every fifth letter and then it
spk_0 spells out these secret codes that only a few elite people are able to decode. It's so false,
spk_0 so far that from the truth. God wants you to hear his voice. That's the whole point. That's why
spk_0 we have the Bible. And so when God truly is speaking through someone, it's going to point people
spk_0 back to his word, not away from his word. And so real prophecy builds faith. It doesn't elevate ego.
spk_0 It elevates Jesus. I think all of this is pointing to, I think, my entire point in all of this.
spk_0 Just ask the Holy Spirit for confirmation. You know, your question was, how do I know? How do I know?
spk_0 Ask the Holy Spirit. You helped access to God's voice personally. You don't need to like
spk_0 outsource that relationship and go talk to your pastor or go talk to me or go talk to whoever.
spk_0 Just ask the Holy Spirit. Now, that doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to others. You know, there are
spk_0 times where I am wrestling with something and I get advice from a mentor or a friend or something.
spk_0 But that's not to replace what God is saying to you. Especially if you hear something that feels
spk_0 off. Or even when it feels right, it's okay to pause and say, Lord, is this from you?
spk_0 And he is faithful to answer that prayer. Sometimes God will confirm a word with peace or just the
spk_0 sense of his presence because it's in line with what he's already been speaking to you.
spk_0 The reality is, is the devil doesn't want you listening to God. And so if God is, you know,
spk_0 I was talking to somebody yesterday about this, they're pretty certain that God is calling them
spk_0 into ministry. And so we've been praying together. The devil don't want that person going into
spk_0 ministry. And so when this person has been having what I call sacred echoes, where there's this
spk_0 confirmation from the word and there's a confirmation from somebody in their church leadership.
spk_0 And there's a confirmation from somebody in their life. The sacred echoes where they're starting
spk_0 to really sense that the Lord is calling them into full-time ministry. Well, if the devil
spk_0 was in that prophetic word that somebody came and spoke to them, it would not be pushing that
spk_0 person into ministry. See what I'm saying? Like, the devil wants to keep you from God. The devil
spk_0 wants to keep you from growing in relationship with God. And so ask the Holy Spirit. He's going to
spk_0 reveal to you whether or not this was from him or not. And you have to remember too. You know,
spk_0 even if somebody doesn't know what they're doing and they're just saying, you know what? I just
spk_0 want to encourage you. God loves you so much. Word. God wanted me to share with you that he loves
spk_0 you so much. Okay. It's in line with the word. So that's God's word doesn't return void. And so
spk_0 maybe it was a gentle reminder that God just wanted you to recognize that he's there and you're
spk_0 seeing. Maybe that person is just an encourager. It doesn't really matter if it is an encouragement
spk_0 that's coming from God's word. I think my question that I would give back to you, Brittany, is
spk_0 what's the hesitation about? You know, I'm not saying not to test it. Obviously, there's a whole
spk_0 bunch of things that I just kind of shared in this episode. But what's the hesitation there?
spk_0 Because I think there's a lot of times we miss something that the Holy Spirit is trying to do in
spk_0 us because we put up these barriers. I don't know if it's really going to be him from him or not.
spk_0 Okay. We'll test it. Ask him. But I encourage you to not just close yourself off to something that
spk_0 can be a powerful way that God encourages you in the midst of really hard seasons. I want to
spk_0 read something for you. This is 1 Corinthians 14. Everybody knows 1 Corinthians 13, the love
spk_0 chapter. But often we skip over 1 Corinthians 14. It's as follow the way of love and eagerly
spk_0 desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak
spk_0 to people, but to God. Indeed, no one understands them. They utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one
spk_0 who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, purging, and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a
spk_0 tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you
spk_0 to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the
spk_0 one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets so that the church may be edified.
spk_0 Paul says here in 1 Corinthians that the gift of prophecy strengthens, encourages, and comforts us.
spk_0 There's an aspect of how God wants to operate even in this broken world that is so valuable
spk_0 that if we shut ourselves off to this gift of prophecy, we're missing out on the consolation,
spk_0 the exhortation, the edification that the Holy Spirit is trying to offer us. And so
spk_0 when someone offers your word, it's never going to shame or condemn you. If it does, it's not for
spk_0 the Lord. Now, it might convict you. For certain, it might convict you, but it's not going to cause
spk_0 fear. It's not going to cause panic and it's not going to cause confusion. That's not how God
spk_0 operates. The enemy is the one who traffics in fear, but God, he leads with peace, even when he's
spk_0 correcting us. And so if you receive a word that leaves you anxious or you feel afraid, take it to
spk_0 God, ask him to show you his heart in it, or whether it's even from him at all. And for anyone
spk_0 listening today, if you've ever been hurt by a word that was, couldn't quote from God, I want to
spk_0 just say this, I'm sorry, that was never God's heart for you. His voice doesn't bring confusion,
spk_0 or shame, or fear or manipulation. The voice of God is always consistent with his character.
spk_0 So if you have been wounded by false words, I want to encourage you to allow the Lord to tend to
spk_0 that place in your heart, to heal that place in your heart, and to not allow that to be a barrier
spk_0 to hearing and receiving his voice now. Let's pray. Jesus, I thank you for being the kind of
spk_0 shepherd who still speaks to us. Thank you for loving us enough to lead us with your voice and
spk_0 to comfort us with the Holy Spirit and to correct us even when we've gone off track. But
spk_0 number one, don't speak prematurely, you're out of our own brokenness. But that we would be a
spk_0 people who carry your words with humility. Lord, for those of us who have been hurt by false words or
spk_0 spiritual manipulation, I ask for healing. Lord, I pray that you would just restore trust where it's
spk_0 been lost. And where we've gotten it wrong, or would you teach us to make it right?
spk_0 May our hearts always be aligned with yours, and may our lives be marked by truth,
spk_0 and grace, and obedience. In Jesus' name, amen. Friends, if you have a question about this series,
spk_0 or about anything that we're doing, or about God in general, you can go to the link in the
spk_0 show notes to my speak pipe and leave me a message just like Brittany did, and hopefully we will
spk_0 have it on a future show. If this episode stirred something in you, maybe there is a past hurt,
spk_0 or even a longing to understand how to better steward your own voice, I want to invite you to take
spk_0 the next step. Part of today's episode was from my new book called Knowing God's Voice,
spk_0 but it goes even further into this conversation about discernment, about getting it right,
spk_0 about getting it wrong. There's a whole section on this very topic, and what it means to hear God
spk_0 clearly, how to tell his voice from the voice of the enemy, or our own emotions, how to steward
spk_0 that gift with integrity. If you haven't already grabbed your copy, it's available everywhere
spk_0 gifts are sold, and this is the perfect time to get it, not just for you, but maybe even for a
spk_0 friend who's walking the same journey, and you can read it together. You can use the link in today's
spk_0 show notes to order your copy, or you can go to wherever books are sold. And as always, if you could
spk_0 share this episode with someone who needs it, I think it would help us all to keep growing together.
spk_0 Thanks for listening. The Hearing Jesus Podcast is so excited to partner with Compassion International.
spk_0 We believe in Compassion's mission to release children from poverty in Jesus name.
spk_0 I've seen the impact myself through the letters and the updates that I've received as a sponsor.
spk_0 It's not just changing the lives of children, it's changing entire families,
spk_0 whole communities, always through the local church, and always in Jesus name. When you sponsor a child,
spk_0 you ensure access to quality education, medical checkups, healthy food, clean water, and most
spk_0 importantly, the love of Jesus, delivered through a church in their community because of a generous
spk_0 caring sponsor like you. And you can speak life, love, and hope to your sponsored child through
spk_0 personal letters that you'll exchange. I hope you'll join me in sponsoring a child through
spk_0 Compassion today. All you have to do is pull out your phone, open up a text, and text Hearing
spk_0 Jesus to 83393. You'll get back a text with a picture of a child who is waiting for a sponsor
spk_0 and a link to sponsor that child. You can also go to Compassion.com forward slash hearing Jesus
spk_0 to choose a boy or a girl to sponsor. When you sponsor a child, we will send you a copy of She
spk_0 hears, learning to listen to Jesus, my Bible study, as a token of our thanks for investing in the
spk_0 life of a child. Thank you for joining me in sponsoring a child through Compassion today.
