spk_0 I was just thinking like oh man when what is gonna be our 200th because we're really close.

spk_0 Yeah we're 10 episodes away and I assume we'll be in Wano by that point so who knows.

spk_0 I think so.

spk_0 They might end up being like the second or third episode of Wano I think which would

spk_0 be pretty pretty wild.

spk_0 Yeah that will be interesting.

spk_0 Yeah but for now.

spk_0 Phew poor one out man that's really what it comes down to because man it's just cool

spk_0 to see how we go from one to next and I got that there's a brutal foot cliffing

spk_0 you're an ando one.

spk_0 Yeah the cliff hanging around this foot oh it's just one of us keep going it sucks.

spk_0 No this one really feels like I mean because again we've been talking like you know we

spk_0 don't have that much of the arc left you know it's like 20 25 chapters but like the stakes

spk_0 keep getting higher and higher and higher and this like it was last week was kind of like

spk_0 it was like oh god but it was like fun right there was that push and pull there was

spk_0 that like okay you know we we have to run from big mom but like maybe we can pull this

spk_0 off and now it feels like this is reality kind of crashing down on you.

spk_0 Oh I'm just to a definite degree like it's ramped up and really again really shows what

spk_0 it means to be an emperor.

spk_0 Yes yeah yeah I think that they do not mess around and I think that like the stakes being

spk_0 this high I feel like like we are now at that point where like like I don't know like

spk_0 like the tension has built up to a point where it really does feel like yeah like this is

spk_0 this is what you know you pissed off an emperor you're trying to you know get out of her territory

spk_0 and it's they're not going to go easy on you they're not gonna make it easy and the straw

spk_0 the straw hats are going to struggle just for every little bit of progress they make

spk_0 from this point on where basically.

spk_0 That being said by the end of this we do kind of have a road map of what what to expect

spk_0 like we have goals.

spk_0 I think so yeah.

spk_0 Yeah I think we kind of have the how the next you know 20 odd chapters are going to

spk_0 play out you know that obviously there's going to be twists and turns but we know we know

spk_0 what we need to accomplish and we're because it's like we're so close right like the

spk_0 wedding is over you know like a germans off their you know they're off to fight in big

spk_0 mom's pirates or whatever but like yeah it's just kind of like survive and leave.

spk_0 Yeah so true.

spk_0 Oh but let's get into it with chapter 876 putting coincidentally appears and it's time

spk_0 to check out another part of the straw hat fleet time for Don's side of the hoppose army

spk_0 and yeah he's done.

spk_0

spk_0 He's done.

spk_0 Got the title and let me see the hearts of baby five.

spk_0 Yeah I love this section this is probably my favorite section of the this this this these

spk_0 chapter stories so far.

spk_0 Yeah I do I was kind of surprised I was expecting us to see a little more from Bartolomeo

spk_0 like oh god what are what are kind of the consequences of him.

spk_0 No doing what he did but that's fine.

spk_0 Nothing.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 Oh man but into the chapter itself and we have a massive crater where is not me combined

spk_0 with with Prometheus central landing with that.

spk_0 Zeus.

spk_0 Zeus sorry I don't know why the sun.

spk_0 The sun Zeus of course I should know that I should know that.

spk_0 Anyway Zeus just by god just a massive crater all the people around there is wiped out.

spk_0 It seems like a pretty big ending move like let's be honest that's kind of the equivalent

spk_0 to one of the big bolts from an arrow.

spk_0 Yeah honestly which makes you wonder how would he you know how would we compare it here

spk_0 you know electricity from part of big mumps all versus an arrow but of course I like

spk_0 that we're you know like wow that was a bit of direct hit you know like she's at the

spk_0 bottom of that enormous hole and then you just hear she embays like that's big

spk_0 bombs foot steps and then we hear wedding cake it's like zombie.

spk_0 Oh crap she's coming out.

spk_0 It's like no she is still moving and I can't make out exactly what she's doing.

spk_0 I can't tell she's eating through the rock or just pushing her body through it.

spk_0 It is an unstoppable object.

spk_0 Given what we know I would not be surprised if she is eating eating the dirt just to just

spk_0 chomping her way through.

spk_0 I also it's not entirely sure I'm not entirely clear but I'm willing to believe either

spk_0 or at this point she's strong enough to dig through it but she's also deranged enough

spk_0 to eat it.

spk_0 Yeah and she comes out of the ground like a freaking landshark.

spk_0 Yes don't do like like I really feel like this is just selling more and more like like

spk_0 big mom at this point is she's like a like a Kaiju right like she just something we

spk_0 have to run for.

spk_0 Like she is an unstoppable force of nature.

spk_0 That's exactly what I was going to say.

spk_0 She is just pure force of nature at this point.

spk_0 She will not stop.

spk_0 Cannot be stopped.

spk_0 They're essentially running from the terminator.

spk_0 Yeah yeah yeah.

spk_0 And what a cool idea first of like a villain they have to deal with that they cannot stop

spk_0 her.

spk_0 There's just nothing they can do.

spk_0 They have to run and it's amazing.

spk_0 Yeah it's so good.

spk_0 I can't it's just I say it like every big mom is such a bonkers villain.

spk_0 And I really feel like if we have to establish that like we cannot beat her in like a physical

spk_0 one on one like we're not ready for that clearly.

spk_0 This is sort of like a good enough way of like she's going to just chase us out and we

spk_0 have to run.

spk_0 So they start running and that's when putting in chiffon still shows up in her flying carpet.

spk_0 And I like I like I like you trick this and what you want to fight us now and I like I

spk_0 like I have a call back the page was like should have tied her up.

spk_0 Yeah yeah.

spk_0 This this whole bit is great.

spk_0 I was just on I was rolling so because like you know you know she's like you know I

spk_0 don't want to fight just listen to me and so she's like my darling putting you're all

spk_0 right and she's falling at the mouth.

spk_0 She's the hard eyes and all three of them.

spk_0 This is such a wonderful new dynamic for her where she is just fighting her nature.

spk_0 Yeah yeah and it because you know she's like all right you know we did not type for this

spk_0 putting B direct and then she's like you're right look at the miserable state of you you'll

spk_0 never survive.

spk_0 Just just going on and on and on with her villain speech.

spk_0 No wrong putting what are you talking about oh gosh what am I saying mama thinks that

spk_0 you stole the cake so thank God chiffon here to explain everything.

spk_0 Yes you thank God for chiffon.

spk_0 And then we got evil side like putting just keeps like panel to panel she just swast

spk_0 back and forth because she's like after the chiffon explain just like yes exactly so

spk_0 come with me songy stand at my side and see if the living hell that is watching mama

spk_0 slaughter your friends.

spk_0 Wrong yeah she just I love loofies just like look that's all you can just get lost.

spk_0 It's so good I love this this new take on putting it really changes up from just the sweet

spk_0 girl you know right yeah and that and that it's yeah I mean this that's like we started

spk_0 you know with a sweet girl and then it was the twist that you know she was actually evil

spk_0 and now it's kind of now that she has received like Frank saw she gave her one compliment

spk_0 and now she is head over heels she's like over her biggest source of not shame but you

spk_0 know the thing that like it's been made fun of our fun of her entire right right because

spk_0 she was like you know like I'm a monster you know you know I don't deserve you know especially

spk_0 you know being what a big mom stars is how great my parent big mom is you're like yeah

spk_0 if you were a child you would think like oh I'm an ugly monster that you know nobody loves

spk_0 on me but yeah again thank God for chiffon here who's just you know just like you know help

spk_0 us bake the cake you know you're the only one who couldn't you know the one make the one

spk_0 cake that could possibly stop mama and then we'll let you go yeah of course you know I

spk_0 I also love another core that we're still getting to this is to the core of Sanji because we

spk_0 know throughout all this we've learned you know we've seen just how deep his love of cooking goes

spk_0 how yeah I want you to struggle to get it through but also it's been a long time since we've

spk_0 been reminded just how good of a cook so Ge is and we'll get more of this later this really

spk_0 emphasize like no Sanji is damn good yeah no and it's weird and that it is such an aspect of his

spk_0 character that doesn't get emphasized much as like he's the cook but not like oh he is like like

spk_0 a generational talent at cooking yeah he's like putting you a good at cooking of sweets yeah

spk_0 our first class cooking first class at cooking anything then help us bake the cake yeah you mentioned

spk_0 before so hey I owe you one for Lola if I'm gonna pay it back I'll risk my life to do it so

spk_0 um and putting these steps in is like that might end up being the case but not for me I'm not

spk_0 doing this for you it's just a coincidence that the big cake I wanted to bake and eat is the same

spk_0 cake mama once and it's a coincidence I was wanting a long and happy-cross you people so it's

spk_0 definitely not the case that I came to stop mama because I really didn't want you to die Sanji and

spk_0 I love how she's like Oda has these dynamic shaded poses and evil faces for yes uh putting at

spk_0 this point but she also has the blushing she can't decide which mode she is and I love the

spk_0 page turn and she says Sanji dear flip-flopping like crazy okay this is this is I'm so glad that

spk_0 putting ended up you know like not the sweet girl not the evil girl now now the whole joke is that

spk_0 she just she just she is so confused and I love how that was the bait we had last time it's like

spk_0 it's gonna be is it is she like sincere is she not and the idea is that she is sincere but she

spk_0 doesn't know how to take it exactly yeah yeah yeah she does not know how to portray her emotions at all

spk_0 so uh that we got our plan is we have to make it back to Shaka Lot Town in on the Kakao Island

spk_0 uh we'll make it a top speed and carry it back by boat that will distract mama and the rest of

spk_0 you need just need to hold out until then so if you set sail the enemies will come in from either

spk_0 direction but I believe you guys are capable of withstanding them so Sanji is right on the carpet

spk_0 to get there so basically they're shooting head making the cake turning around to come back and

spk_0 meet up with them as they're still escaping from mom yeah wow it's it's kind of a complicated

spk_0 maneuver but I guess at this point like it really is kind of the only shot we've got yep so

spk_0 Sanji's gonna jump on and uh you know big big mom sees putting in chiffon she's ready just

spk_0 she winds up for the a coco again and uh barely escaping as uh it just goes flying to the forest and

spk_0 well let's hope they're okay yes and I love this last little bit too kind of as as a last

spk_0 little part in gift because you know they're they're trying to escape the the forest but you know

spk_0 they're like hey you're you're heading for a wall um but you know thankfully we have uh

spk_0 um putting here with her memory filament where she kind of like messes with the memories of all

spk_0 of like the homies in the forest to give them the memories of like the original souls like it's

spk_0 it's really kind of cool yeah it's a it's a nice display of her powers and basically they all

spk_0 just go off and do the things like all right again it's very funny like okay this is sort of like

spk_0 Sanji's role in the final act like he just gets to he just kind of gets to go off and make a cake

spk_0 and I love this it's in Sanji's on top on the carpet now she's like you know what are you doing

spk_0 here Sanji I've been here all along like deer get off and swim your way there dork is like uh

spk_0 your eyes would be even beautiful when you're mad don't pull that crap on me see now it feels like

spk_0 like a couple of just because I mean yeah I think it makes it kind of aligned yeah yeah I think

spk_0 the thing that works for me is how much like like Sanji like in his best nature like he just

spk_0 no sells it completely right like any whenever whenever pudding goes evil mode he's just like yeah sure

spk_0 he's not completely not to me either that he's distracted from what needs to be done so that's

spk_0 yeah exactly it's kind of again like this is this that is kind of Sanji and kind of

spk_0 is peak form now which is also it's really good to see and I also really like that after everything

spk_0 we've been through you have that kind of innate trust between Sanji and Luffy now it's like okay

spk_0 you know you do your thing we'll rendezvous like is that trusting each other that's been built back

spk_0 up again yeah so sure it's really satisfying to see and was it just me when I saw the line I'll

spk_0 bring the life out of you is like oh smoothie showed up and then I'll go smoothie smoothie doesn't

spk_0 appear once during this is like wait is she just not gonna appear we're not gonna have one of the

spk_0 sweet three like huh that it feels like wasted potential right there we got yeah only this

spk_0 but we'll see what happens but instead we see Brooke and Chopper fighting off mom's forces on the

spk_0 on the on the sunny and don't don't all right they're holding their own but of course Kata Curry

spk_0 has not stepped in he's just sort of observing yeah he's chilling out yeah thankfully you know

spk_0 that has been kind of established way earlier right that Brooke Brooke is kind of the perfect counter to

spk_0 the to these yeah the yeah these guys that have their own the souls transplanted yeah the little

spk_0 little home me or whatever's yeah and they've they've connected to the mirrors here that like that's

spk_0 for lace powers kind of nuts that they can find the mere even in her mere world like

spk_0 theoretically every mere in the world connects that mere into her mere world and trying to figure

spk_0 where yeah which is kind of insane yeah it's nuts yeah yeah okay we we we got to break the

spk_0 mere anomaly not in Robin's room we'll have to face the wrath but it's the only way to do it but

spk_0 um uh you know you know you always apologize later and that's when uh Parasparo is like

spk_0 you saw the light and your friends are dead he's like I'm tired of me and Brooke's like I'm not I'm

spk_0 tired of answering you so just get off the sunny it's our ship because Parasparo completely believes

spk_0 to their dead the yeah that's from mom that look from Kata Curry implies to me that he's like oh no

spk_0 so they they the straw hats make it to the coast we're saved uh it's like we're gonna have to

spk_0 we can't let down our guard but we've made it to the sunny yeah every little bit of progress counts

spk_0 and that's when Prometheus shows up as like hey Zeus why'd you hit us too it's like

spk_0 wasn't my choice that lightning cloud a ghost sure was tasty it's like what

spk_0 he had no remorse he does not care no nope that just tasted too good so yeah um

spk_0 you know maybe that's how you know it's a part of big mom soul that's good point but I love

spk_0 how we ended chapter with uh let's whip up a cake so good it'll knock big moms lights out

spk_0 now dude Saunji's about to flex yeah he's ready I it's like okay we have our plan to defeat big mom

spk_0 stop tour where they can escape so we do have an sbs uh basically all covering the

spk_0 mommy getting that outfit after yeah which we actually moved yeah yeah so yeah that's you got one

spk_0 up on the on the sbs readers which is I feel like uncommon for us very uncommon especially when

spk_0 you compare it to what's the the other one is which is hey I noticed uh shanks is a hand in the

spk_0 cover of 8 62 is the four lights like the four emperors it's like yeah actually got that it's like

spk_0 how in the hell well okay in in my defense I don't know anything about Hanaputa that was also

spk_0 I know nothing but the second that they said uh you know the four lights and four emperors in

spk_0 Japanese would both be young Cole clever once once they explained that I was like okay I got it but

spk_0 yeah I don't I don't know anything about Hanaputa yeah I don't know how to food enough didn't be

spk_0 you know what's going on there like it took me forever to realize like because there's always

spk_0 mention that um like Nintendo is like a hundred you know 25 odd year old company but they started

spk_0 out making playing cards you hear playing cards you're thinking of like a shakwine can yeah yeah

spk_0 yeah no it's Hanaputa they made Hanaputa yeah yeah it's kind of blew my mind when I realized that

spk_0 but yeah yeah yeah but uh let's go ahead and get to our next chapter 87 bittersweet and uh

spk_0 it's time for uh side to talk to ukelycia about baby 85 Hanaputa believed that that like that one

spk_0 off joke for druss rose and it up coming back like this he's like I think they remember because

spk_0 I mentioned like yeah you're uh butthroath to ukelycia I remember that I remember uh chinjow saying

spk_0 that did they also draw it in the sbs or something like that like I think so I think so that sounds

spk_0 like this thing was just gender bent uh sigh yeah yeah yeah yeah but like I'm sorry uh ukelycia is a queen

spk_0 yeah well I mean for those of you who like the uh the the the the the muscle ladies um yeah there she is

spk_0 she and she just has a powerful that's just a powerful chin chin that's all that is yeah

spk_0 yeah a powerful chin to lead the uh the next uh you know next in line to the family right yeah yeah

spk_0 I I kind of love that design I I feel like I could read a whole side story about whatever happens here

spk_0 I know right I also think it's very cute to see uh baby five just sort of clinging on to sigh

spk_0 yeah and just you know I would like to think that she's well one living a better life but also

spk_0 you know with with the dofl mingo pirates you know kind of out of business right like she

spk_0 she kind of got away better than most of them for sure good for her good for her yeah but uh it's

spk_0 time to see how things are going and uh not well because we start out with a conga line coming out

spk_0 of nami's mirror of all these forces just the hilarious visual all these guys right you know

spk_0 just lined up and waiting yeah well I was like a joke from airplane where they're trying to calm

spk_0 the woman down and they keep escalating and they have like you know the fists and all uh uh you

spk_0 know hammers and whatnot it's just like yeah that's all that is yeah well I think the other thing

spk_0 like contrasting to that is like and I we already kind of knew this but like perros perros

spk_0 towers are like he's he's choking chopper like he is suffocating chopper with candy yeah and I

spk_0 was honestly wondering like can can chopper like he loves the sweets can he eat through this

spk_0 like cuz that'd be kind of awesome yeah but no no it's not it's too much and um did not again we've

spk_0 not seen anything of smoothie uh perros perros not part of the sweet three and it this really shows

spk_0 that no he's an issue he's a problem yeah no he he I feel like he is maybe like the most kind of

spk_0 menacing um you know uh in terms of just like problems that we need to get through right like in

spk_0 order to proceed like like perros perros abilities have always been kind of you know like even

spk_0 you know trying to escape the wedding right like he was always there uh you know you know

spk_0 freezing uh baiji's um uh castle or whatever right like that candy is powerful so like yeah I

spk_0 could I could totally believe that like yeah you could you could choke somebody with that oh yeah

spk_0 as he says like it takes it takes three minutes until you're dead and I'll just lick your corpse

spk_0 yeah which is also yeah I love that you know he says uh you know the island is not all gum drops

spk_0 and lollipops like he's just he's just owning it I remember when the wedding was getting ready to

spk_0 restart and to start and he had that whole scene where he ended up candy the kids like oh he's

spk_0 like yeah he's kind of like really want gun all that I was like yeah yeah he's pretty

spk_0 freaking evil he's all the demented and of course he knows four choppers like I don't want to be a

spk_0 sugar plum but I also love oh oh oh this is happening like cut the career like he's just chilling

spk_0 yeah he's just waiting to see he's like I don't need to get involved yet it's fine it's all good good

spk_0 and they say they see the tree start getting unbended and something coming through the woods like

spk_0 must be mama we better lure lure her toward uh putting on cow island uh she learns that there's no

spk_0 cake on the ship uh I'm dead yeah we did again it's also another another funny thing that of all

spk_0 of this like yeah peris bro being here like uh you know he's got he's got secondary motives as well

spk_0 to like uh there there are he there are stakes for him to hear and that's like when catacore is like

spk_0 we're not ready for that yet because here come the straw had still running from big mom just

spk_0 shopping down the woods trying to get at him it's yeah which is just an insane visual just how much

spk_0 they've been running at this point just running from big mom um and then of course again just

spk_0 freaking catacry with this future site where he's just like return to the mirror world in mere seconds

spk_0 you're gonna be lying at his feet you know uh pointing to Loufe and they're all just kind of like

spk_0 nope nope nope get out of there get out of there just just in case yeah

spk_0 catacore is so it's so interesting in that way and um we'll get into it more when the

spk_0 the well when we see more of them yeah coming yeah in the coming chapters but uh

spk_0 yeah we we we we we we we we we we we got some tough foes ahead of us catacore in peris

spk_0 peris and that's when peris peris only says the candy maiden which yeah yeah I know

spk_0 haha a freaking iron maiden made out of candy is such an insane idea

spk_0 yeah I want to I like that he's you know or because they're like running towards it and he's

spk_0 you know like you know it should be obvious this is no ordinary wall and you're like oh god

spk_0 and the chin base like all right you know swing around with the ship Loufe is like oh god much

spk_0 through it time for that red hawk and fortunately with my uh fire fist uh we just melt the candy

spk_0 take care of peris peris abilities right off the bat and that's when catacore shows up and this

spk_0 is I'm glad this happened where it is like oh I didn't realize how much uh equivalent

spk_0 the mochi mochi fruit was to the gum from fruit yeah you see that has a lot of gang are kind of like

spk_0 oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah even until that moment

spk_0 that's that's a cool idea it's it's really really I think that the parallels that

spk_0 auto kind of puts between these two is very cool I it makes me excited for

spk_0 their continued fight especially as we see further clashes throughout the set um but uh yeah

spk_0 here here comes mom and we got to get catacore off the ship so let's just focus on getting out to

spk_0 see it's like uh and Loufe is like okay I got what we need to do I I'll take him they came through

spk_0 the mirror right so let's just use uh hawk gattling uh and we're gonna try to push our way through

spk_0 and that's when Pedro has an aside to care it's like okay try not to be startled by this

spk_0 sudden turn of events I have a suspicion that Loufe and his friends are those who are people

spk_0 and the kuzuki clan have awaited for centuries the ones who will guide us to the dawn of the world

spk_0 and yeah which is certainly you know for centuries right like that's that's big talk

spk_0 uh and there's also also there's that dawn again uh as as was mentioned a whole bunch on zoe

spk_0 yes yes indeed um so don't have anything further from there but we do see uh uh uh

spk_0 perispero contacting mandor to uh arrange this I like how mandor is kind of the um the one the one to

spk_0 set up you know it's like this needs to happen here he's he's the coordinator of the yeah yeah very

spk_0 much so with the with his book power that seems to make sense yeah and it is very funny again as we

spk_0 kind of mentioned earlier right that it's like now now that big mom's kids all have a goal to rally

spk_0 around is like now they're all kind of coordinating and working together work out and then they

spk_0 it just shows how capable they are when that happens yes it is it is a force but time for jimbe to learn

spk_0 about the kuda burst right yeah it's just gonna like that's our life it's our it's our last gamble

spk_0 yeah we can fly over a kilometer at once we just need to use it we keep saying like normal big

spk_0 mom will think us because well there she is so let's get ready to sail it's also cool because

spk_0 I don't think the kuda burst has really been used in this like when was the last time it was

spk_0 really used it's like a desperation tactic like maybe the first time they got the sunny uh after

spk_0 any is lobby or they're running from garb yeah that's the that that is the first and only other time

spk_0 I could think of we're like this is sort of like our ace in the hole you you associate with it

spk_0 happening more because I'm pretty sure you get used a lot in the movies that would make sense

spk_0 which is how I'm like like like well we've seen it a few times like then I was thinking about like no

spk_0 no we haven't yeah and of course of course I also love that jimbe is like what what what

spk_0 and he's he's very matter of fact as well as big mom's coming in he's trying to get everything ready

spk_0 to go he's like brok chopper you still conscious on there because it would be really bit of a escape

spk_0 if you died at this in this attempt so yeah he's like I don't know I don't know how this ship works

spk_0 uh give me a hand here and uh we got um uh a monday closing in our wide rimmed hack girl I love

spk_0 her design uh yeah she's still really cool did they're just um closing in uh they have them

spk_0 surrounded it's not looking good uh so you know nommie's lifting up the barrels herself is like okay we

spk_0 need three barrels of cola uh luffy still challenging cut a career as captures him within his wrist

spk_0 again are we sure cut a career is not a logia because I will we'll talk about that later

spk_0 okay okay yeah yeah yeah yeah there's a reason for that

spk_0 and uh it's like what's what the hard candy is like uh we really just comes across as desperate

spk_0 desperate desperate and all the worst peris barrel starts using his powers to again yeah capture

spk_0 the sunny just just like with baytay earlier right like you can just immobilize stuff by turning it

spk_0 into candy uh and and on top of them you know chopper and brook are dying

spk_0 and you know big moms here there's a bombardment coming like

spk_0 it's it they're they're basically done they are captured at point there's nothing they can do

spk_0 but that's when Pedro shows up uh leaps toward uh peris perro and is is trying to do a final

spk_0 final attack uh just to throw them off and it's like and that's when we learn peris perro is bounty

spk_0 seven hundred million so he even he's he's he's big boy yeah yeah when he's he's he's he's he's

spk_0 you know i have much my body is like i actually didn't so thank you for telling me

spk_0 but that's when Pedro's like this should be sufficient to undo all of your magic it's like wait

spk_0 what do you think with the bombs and I had a feeling this would be my final voyage so long

spk_0 yeah i i was taken aback by this yeah because it's shocking isn't it yeah i i i i i i i can't

spk_0 really even think i fully registered it first it's like because again one piece has me trained

spk_0 yeah even after ace that nobody really dies it happens more often now but doesn't really but

spk_0 allies don't typically die um may i point you to alabasta and it's bomb yeah

spk_0 that goes off in some space yeah yeah because like that oh again yeah he's trying to he's set

spk_0 up this expectation i feel like it with like yeah okay we've done like the last minute sacrifice

spk_0 we did all this with pal before so like you kind of see this and you're like oh yeah he's fine

spk_0 like i i i in no uncertain terms like that Pedro is dead this is where Pedro dies and yeah and that

spk_0 well on the one hand like because odah has you know we we have seen characters survive kind of

spk_0 we've seen the survive all manner of things before so like i can't say with 100% uncertainty

spk_0 like that he is not dead but like as far as the narrative the narrative treats him as if he is dead

spk_0 and and there is no there's no as far as we've gotten to you know there's no sort of take back of

spk_0 this moment and i i really hope he does long i feel like that's not in the case i'm i yeah i

spk_0 Pedro MVP really yes yeah no he's he's the man like i just i've forgotten just how like i

spk_0 remembered this moment but i forgot how cool he was uh in the buildup that really lets you

spk_0 like you kind of really he really feels like part of the crew yeah he just melted so well he has

spk_0 that friendship with brook and yeah i didn't i wasn't emotionally affected by this because it was so

spk_0 sudden for me yeah and you know it's just like why is that really dead is he there's so much other chaos

spk_0 going on that it doesn't it doesn't linger on in the same way we can we get the flashes of everybody's

spk_0 reactions to this happening but it doesn't it doesn't register so i'm a little sad that that

spk_0 doesn't register like that that i feel like oh no not Pedro that sort of thing

spk_0 and it is such an explosive and and the thing is he was ready to do this so much earlier

spk_0 like he was against um against tom ago before they got they got something at the mirror

spk_0 so and as a kind of pay off as like the the setup to the next chapters was kind of like the

spk_0 fact that he is now living you know with like most of his life span taken from him i think i think

spk_0 it makes the most sense for him narratively like to be the one to make the sacrifice like as

spk_0 he as the the way that he kind of acts is kind of like a man out of time right that he's he's kind of

spk_0 he knows that he doesn't have much time left so he would i think much rather go out on his terms

spk_0 to do something to make that sacrifice for you know for the people that you know that he thinks are

spk_0 are very important you know the little yeah uh bring bring the dawn to the world wherever whatever

spk_0 that means yeah and that he goes on i think very cool and we're just going to jump right into

spk_0 chapter 878 commander Pedro of the main guardians because this is where it hits more

spk_0 yes yeah because odor i like that odor takes some time to really focus in on Pedro uh thank

spk_0 this chapter um to dive away from that though we have a color real quick um which everybody's eating

spk_0 watermelon in a very very hot day which i like the order to convey like i've experienced a

spk_0 Japanese summer in his hell oh that humidity oh i bet oh i bet you know i i live in the south

spk_0 like it gets pretty humid down here but i'm sure the right speech in Japan was nothing like i

spk_0 never experienced before oh god you step outside and you are just well the way nami's wedding is

spk_0 the way you sweat yeah she's spontaneous uh living it up i i love the deat like i love zoro doing

spk_0 the thing spinning on the seeds at saw jeez talking using a cat to block it that is fantastic

spk_0 also might be one of my favorite like as a robin fan this is a hell of a fit on her like

spk_0 the bikini works yeah like i see nami in front i said yeah it's fine that's fine look at

spk_0 robin they could god oh man so also what was freaky doing was he out catching yeah he's just

spk_0 catching blocks he has is a stag beetle in his little uh oh yeah he does basket so uh it's cute

spk_0 still still love that we get these to just have them all to get together still yeah you know

spk_0 what's interesting um i don't know if you wanted to be surprised by this um so we're almost at the

spk_0 point where we're gonna like we'd start using the weekly versions of the chapters instead of the

spk_0 inversions oh really fairly like uh 10 or 20 chapters oh no we're the look up those sbs's

spk_0 yeah a lot to look up the sbs's but uh that means we'll get the color spreads in color though oh

spk_0 cool yeah so yeah a little bit of a tradeoff yeah yeah holy crap we're catching up to where this

spk_0 start where where the long come was when it was uploaded to uh the jump that yeah that's yeah

spk_0 god it's crazy that's weird yeah yeah we're almost there than the sound effects to be in

spk_0 Japanese and everything like it's we're not that far from it wait oh they don't touch up

spk_0 the sound effects and the the weekly version yeah no that would kill you I guess that's a good point

spk_0 yeah yeah they're there's some titles so again it's just like it'll it'll be different but you know

spk_0 it's the yeah yeah there's also not to get it out of ourselves it root on for about it for a while

spk_0 but like there are certain like there are translation changes or things that'll like oh they'll

spk_0 update that later once we know what the proper spelling is so there are a couple things where like

spk_0 into the system with with Shona Jumanga a lot you know we we do take a lot of attention to

spk_0 detail to like okay we you know because the the weekly versions you know we they are they are

spk_0 localized on a on a deadline right so we go back and you know just just polish up things here

spk_0 there so there's but that that is to say that you know what's the wheel giver I don't think it'll be

spk_0 like oh you know it's so much worse or anything like that no no there are certain especially with a

spk_0 detail heavy manga like one piece there there are certain things you won't notice or you won't know

spk_0 until you have like hindsight right right cool uh into the chapter itself if we get a flashback to

spk_0 well when Pedro lost his 50 years yeah which is a nice reminder he ripped out his eye

spk_0 yeah he did like he's been hardcore for the longest time he's so cool he really he's sorry

spk_0 so and he went and I forget I forget how long ago this was that he uh he met up with this

spk_0 this and this encounter with big mom um characters don't look that different but he was like seven

spk_0 when this went down and so with the loss of the years he's now 77 so yeah well and I just after

spk_0 you know like uh perispiro kind of you know goading him's like you know like oh that makes you 77

spk_0 but you know let's see how long you last they just that line from Pedro's response he's like I'll

spk_0 choose my own resting place yes a question did you need them the nox pirates to refer to the night

spk_0 around the negative connotation and I like that you're the flashback you uh pointed this out when

spk_0 we first learned his crew was the nox pirates kind of about the whole like Sun and Moon dynamic so

spk_0 I'm glad I was like oh they actually brought that up yeah it's very cool and we get we get to see

spk_0 young pagers adore yeah he wants to join Roger and Odin on their trip is like uh no you got

spk_0 you're here on standby uh I don't have much time left so you know listen up everyone has their

spk_0 moment to shine uh and boy does that stick with them oh yeah in Pedro just says as they say there's

spk_0 no night that doesn't end in a sunrise to me nox is synonymous with the moment before the dawn which

spk_0 hits so hard when you when you look at the fact that uh are it's constantly being referred to as

spk_0 romance dawn yeah yeah I think the the concept of dawn uh and kind of the idea of like you know

spk_0 okay but with every night you know the the the cycle of the Sun and the Moon right like you know

spk_0 every every night will have the dawn will come you know the next day will come that that I feel like

spk_0 we don't know exactly sort of like you know kind of it and nuts and bolts since like what that

spk_0 means in terms of the story but it it's clear that it comes up over and over again and it it's

spk_0 clearly kind of an idea that odah has been playing with like basically since the beginning uh so

spk_0 what like like so whatever he's he's doing with this and I I there are aspects about this that I

spk_0 think I can I can infer you know some 300 chapters later but like it's still not entirely like

spk_0 entirely you know like oh you know this is what he means by it if that makes sense but but it's

spk_0 clear that it's enough that like it kind of informs Pedro's whole world view um and I I love that it is

spk_0 it is like that those words from Roger that kind of inform kind of like how he chooses to

spk_0 spend his time and live his life because I guess as he met Roger you know Roger was like all right

spk_0 it's unclear when this meeting with uh with Roger is um sort of like within Roger's own lifetime but

spk_0 like if it if he knows that he's you know doesn't have that much time left yeah I I almost

spk_0 wonder how how shortly before he turned himself in hmm let himself be caught by the Navy um but

spk_0 I also notice I think that's a young um oh it's been so long our dog girl yeah I think that's

spk_0 one yeah yeah yeah one that's it I'm pretty sure it's a young one right there talk with

spk_0 Pedro that's that's excuse but yeah we get this this top bubble before Pedro blows himself up if

spk_0 I if I can lay the foundation for art for the dawning of the world that the men I look up to

spk_0 await I'll be happy I'm certain I have I have enough time for that uh which is you know his

spk_0 just yeah I think it was what he was saying with um with big mom and in in in in Paris Barrow yeah

spk_0 and we get the explosion and I like how even like it's like they're all calling out Pedro but

spk_0 even kind of career like he cares for Paris Paris like oh brother paros yeah that that is actually

spk_0 a through line what we'll see here in a little bit like I an aspect of kind of career I really like

spk_0 is he he actually likes he cares about his family that is sort of his motor that sort of

spk_0 is a motivating factor he's he's got of the he's he's the big brother figure to everybody

spk_0 but the explosion was enough to presumably take out Paris Barrow because the candy powers are melting

spk_0 yeah the melting uh chopper and brook of getting free yes big mom got knocked aside

spk_0 again she got hit by that light that massive lightning attack this massive bomb and there's still

spk_0 not a scratch on this woman she will not go down she's she's worse than a terminator yeah at least

spk_0 they take some damage good god yeah yeah and jimbeys just like what have you done Pedro and the

spk_0 all the others is like wait the oldest master paros sparrow golf into blast like what's going on

spk_0 there and I like poor I I feel for carrots like carrots yeah desperate to go out and Nami has to

spk_0 hold it in talk yeah like you know like we can't like that that was his sacrifice right like we had

spk_0 no chance of survival um it's like we we have to use this chance to just go yeah and as lukees says

spk_0 because he you know when ace died he just snapped and granted ace is certainly closer to him than

spk_0 Pedro was but yeah we know how luffy cares about anybody yeah he care that he considers a friend

spk_0 right like he would he would go in you know swoop in to make sure he's okay he would he would

spk_0 swoop into you know like like if he's hurt like go into protective you know like that's like the way

spk_0 you know he said this before right I was just kind of like if anybody's in danger like we'll just

spk_0 swoop back and uh you know we will come to their aid and um even um what was that back in um

spk_0 back when they were in um oh my god uh bayjays like castle you know where do you use the guy like he

spk_0 was he was ready to go out there and fight um but like I think he he understands what Pedro's

spk_0 actions meant in this moment and and so like he did this for us so like we can't like like we cannot

spk_0 waste his you know life exactly and yeah it's it's it's you you look at luffy as a character just

spk_0 on something outset and I've we've brought this up a few times it's like he would not think he's a

spk_0 character that seems to change or evolve or um grow and it does I actually think whole whole cake is

spk_0 like it has so much of that for luffy just under the surface like obviously like it is mostly you

spk_0 know about like sanji but I feel like like this really is kind of like putting luffy's like leadership

spk_0 and kind of how he acts now in these moments of peril like it is putting that into like you know

spk_0 again we talked about with kind of the big follow with sanji um and how how luffy handled that is

spk_0 so much informed by like how he kind of failed usop uh way back in water seven so I like like

spk_0 no like you actually do get the sense that luffy has come a long way and I'm trying to I'm

spk_0 granted it's been a while since I've read a lot of other show in a manga but I'm trying to like think

spk_0 of like character wise I'm struggling to think of another protagonist that uh evolves as much as

spk_0 yeah and and a lot of times they're kind of static and they just get stronger or have more conviction

spk_0 as time goes on yeah and it's in the condition yeah because because luffy's had all of the same

spk_0 convictions he's always had like that's the part of them that stayed the same um and and I guess it's

spk_0 like because um the way luffy grows as a character I think is is more subtle in ways that you know

spk_0 whole especially other other manga for this target demographic like they would they would normally

spk_0 put that I think kind of more front and center where but like I do like that how like I guess like

spk_0 luffy's a character who's defined by his actions and I feel like you you always know how he's

spk_0 feeling by what he does yeah and and how he kind of reacts to the environment around him and so I

spk_0 think you can oh oh it can get away with showing it without explicitly telling it yeah so we

spk_0 we would it's it's time yeah to uh to get out here and uh you know just you know tell me what

spk_0 they're doing I'll do it with from jimbe and uh that's what got to curious like what's with

spk_0 with all you people getting emotional and uh they're basically we're no reason to get emotional

spk_0 because we're about to just uh you're you're you're done yeah so I get ready to ain't they're

spk_0 getting ready to fire vengeance for perispero and uh carrot going to clash with kata kuri she is

spk_0 she is she's crying she's so she's she wants to go in for revenge it's it's the first time we've

spk_0 seen her act like this it is and it's I love it it's the raw emotion really makes me uh dig carrot

spk_0 as a character um because she's been fun but she hasn't like yeah she's been kind of there

spk_0 like I do think that this is kind of the first big moment where like she's really like

spk_0 she kind of lost she kind of loses her cool for a bit and and it really I think you just have

spk_0 that one there's a couple little flashback pedals of her kind of you know getting like mentored

spk_0 from from uh Pedro and kind of you know he's having you know kind of speaking those lines back

spk_0 to eat like everybody has their moment um so kind of how how things kind of like go from Roger

spk_0 to Pedro to carrot I think is is really cool yeah I I hope we see some really good things from

spk_0 her in the future because I yeah she definitely seems like she's going to want oh

spk_0 hopefully she survives yeah but uh kata kuri is getting ready to like well kata kuri takes her out

spk_0 without an issue he just like steps down in her and uh luke it just prepared to fight luke and

spk_0 he just jostled like no we're leaving I'm the captain of this ship and like uh no only if you

spk_0 have the ability to throw me off and that's when luke unleashes the elephant gun grabs hold of him

spk_0 and again kata kuri's gimmick is a lot of us like ah yes that will prevent me from harming

spk_0 uh anyone else yeah you don't know what he's doing and luke is like you can see coming but you

spk_0 can't stop me meanwhile all of this all their chaos is happening camera balls even the two

spk_0 what I was like we let me off I was like you're just like I I don't think I have no idea this is

spk_0 going to happen but uh here we go and big mom has hold of the sunny she's sliding into it

spk_0 it is not good but uh that's when they see a uh figure in the in the smoke we kind of ruin this

spk_0 surprise because it's like yeah no it's not Pedro peris sparrow is the one alive and I love

spk_0 this detail to I the fact that um odysides to really sell how much that explosion uh just

spk_0 how impactful it is yeah uh peris sparrow lost his arm yeah buff his arm like it's pretty hardcore too

spk_0 so like that I'm glad that it did something and she's she's I that face of nami where she's just

spk_0 sort of like like she had that one second of hope and it's shattered yes loopy has to snap her out

spk_0 of it it's like here you go it's like it's time it's like nami jimbe brook chopper carrot brulee

spk_0 and brulee cool things down with us well and you see because he's he's got all he can see at the

spk_0 back of these brulees in like a mirror and loopy is with one hand holding onto brulee with the

spk_0 other hand holding off got a gory and uh it's like I'll be back hold things down without me and

spk_0 here come the cannonballs here comes the kunaverse straight into mom's face uh they they go launching

spk_0 out into the sky flying above everybody and uh monday reports is that the enemy ship has escaped

spk_0 by air shocking everybody but they're holding on and they look and see that loopy is not there

spk_0 loopy has a uh as flies into the mirror world with uh kata kuri brulee is passed out yeah

spk_0 and this is a bad asthma when it's just like this is so sick we can fight properly here and do

spk_0 if you just smash yes going back yep cut up he cut off the passage back to the ship and so

spk_0 I feel like this moment we said you know about loopy is a character defined by his actions

spk_0 I thought about that moment uh with ace during the um like the post-war flashback where you I forget

spk_0 I forget the guy who was fighting but like there's some speech about basically you know like

spk_0 I have to fight you so that you don't go out to buy friends and like that that kind of mindset

spk_0 I think is what's kind of driving loopy here is like the one thing I can do right now is to make

spk_0 sure that kata kuri doesn't go out to anybody else so like it's like you know I'm not trapped in

spk_0 here with you you're trapped in here with me he identified kata kuri as the one person that they

spk_0 that the rest can't handle yeah yeah and and so that again just loopy smashing the mirror so that

spk_0 like he can't go back but kata kuri can't go after them either so you know it really is like this

spk_0 is the cutoff point and you just get that that's staring down between the two of them um man like so

spk_0 welcome to the loopy versus kata kuri fight um looking forward to this one i'm looking forward to

spk_0 this one uh we do have a um sbs uh mostly about birthdays and then finally being like okay we're

spk_0 getting so many that we can't even put them in the sbs anymore so just go to the website

spk_0 then check there and submit and uh then also why do kid and killer hate kuri udon noodles what

spk_0 happened in the past when they were young they both experienced their first question of girl

spk_0 named broth splatterina the tree we're having thick udon noodles and kuri flavored soup for lunch

spk_0 one day until they looked up and saw that their deer splatterina was simply covered in brown sauce

spk_0 when they laughed at the sight of her she beat them both up and never spoke to them again

spk_0 ah the bittersweet memories of youth

spk_0 bear man i don't think we knew that to kid and killer were childhood friends but i guess that

spk_0 makes sense you know that's sort of the is uh first me type thing makes it yeah yeah

spk_0 so uh yeah let's do your god we got two chapters left i know it's like it feels like it's been

spk_0 mostly fighting and escaping but they're still yeah oh just really good at putting in that

spk_0 story that's what going through it took so much happening just to get like that first kuda burst off like

spk_0 i think this the build up and all of the things happening like it really felt like no things

spk_0 are at their most desperate yeah yeah so chapter 879 big moms sweet three general kata kuri yes

spk_0 uh well turns out uh uh the betrothal will nomenades a ruffle inside

spk_0 he got the job beat out of him but who please shut she's not pleased nope nope uh he might be dead baby

spk_0 five is crying over his corpse also he exists his brother is there who is here who is there

spk_0 i can't believe it amazing oh man and i i feel this like they they stay they we get to the chapter

spk_0 and they it's storming and all that and it's it's kind of higher coming up the rain they're having

spk_0 a bit of time to grieve because again Pedro and Brooke became bros yeah and so that he like i love

spk_0 that you know we we have this we have this moment to just kind of let let everybody let it out of

spk_0 course to chop her with his goofy crying faces um but it really is kind of a heavy moment for

spk_0 uh for everybody but of course the jimbe is like all right but he's kind of in like hey you know

spk_0 it's alright enemies who want to cry like we we we got away man yeah we we can't lose control

spk_0 and Brooke admonishes him is like you how can you be so heartless about this is like we cannot

spk_0 let our guard down the short shoreline was a place of certain death Pedro understood what that

spk_0 represented and was determined to sacrifice himself whenever necessary and with his act Pedro

spk_0 was victorious he achieved what he wanted and we were able to get away because yeah straight up

spk_0 they were not getting away yeah that was like i think just such a masterfully kind of crafted

spk_0 scenario in which really kind of like it it made it like the only solution that made sense right

spk_0 like this was the only thing that that was possible yeah and he did it and was willing to do it without

spk_0 a second thought Brooke and chopper were well chopper was going to die i don't think brook is gonna

spk_0 die in that but he's already dead so in in in in as jimbe points out how great of a loss has the

spk_0 enemy suffered because of your rival here this is an unprecedented setback for them don't you hear

spk_0 Pedro's voice new ears onward loopy understood distakes instantly and that's what he took on that

spk_0 pho by himself uh catechery is a bounty of a billion berries it's a big gamble so sooner or later

spk_0 that big mom's gonna catch us again and her fleet is gonna close in on us on all directions

spk_0 so until then we cannot let down our guard or else we will fail Pedro's sacrifice and

spk_0 that that is the speech where jimbe jimbe you are a straw hat now yes you are yes you are one of the

spk_0 crew that that is a speech that you can see sanji or zoro game or zoro definitely zoro yeah like

spk_0 and it is just like okay you know we we have to build ourselves back up again like let's let's keep

spk_0 moving you know and and we have that determination to get stronger again because again brook saying

spk_0 if only we've been stronger so it's like they trained for all that time and it's still they're still

spk_0 still they reach out with their struggling i don't know and they get to find that next power level i

spk_0 guess yeah yeah that's just that the next breakthrough uh so to speak like i think that's what i really

spk_0 enjoy about the section is not not for nothing you know again i like this is definitely the most

spk_0 dire stakes i think that the straw hats have been in since the times get like this really feels like

spk_0 and again part part of that is that they're only here to have the crew but it is like we are

spk_0 we are just stretched thin at every moment they we are a party of six really seven with sanji being

spk_0 off there against the entirety of mom's forces yeah it was it was always going to be

spk_0 redo great doing this much is amazing yeah but i love this like from that those words

spk_0 chopper gets in like is is yeah all right give me orders now me let's let's do this yeah so they all

spk_0 lock in and it's like okay sanji's group will come from kowkow island back this way according to

spk_0 what they said so we need to make sure we don't miss them so let's steer this way well there's a

spk_0 strong wind gust coming we'll catch it and let's refill the cola that we just spent and keep us

spk_0 moving so let's identify the secrets and just keep things moving uh care wipes your eyes and uh

spk_0 you know they're coming they're goes on look out they're they're coming from six o'clock those

spk_0 ships and big malls walking on water she the Messiah she will not stop no it's not because of

spk_0 any innate ability of hers it's because of perros sparrow with the candy so freaking freaking

spk_0 perros sparrow man he he's kind of the biggest thorn in in the side he reminds me of um of a

spk_0 kisaru during during marine for it like he's that same level of like just a constant nuisance

spk_0 kind of enabling all of the words things incredible like i did not i did not clock perros sparrow to be

spk_0 such a thorn well it's funny too because perros sparrow's like where does Zeus go like this is his job

spk_0 i'm just doing i'm trying to survive so i do wonder if perros sparrow himself will be taken out by

spk_0 one of them and i don't know who would be but i do kind of hope that he gets soundly defeated by one

spk_0 of them um well well to be fair though another thing that i thought of after i read these chapters

spk_0 and we're just sort of dwelling on them a bit thinking about them over what the hell's gonna have

spk_0 where's germansick double 66 of this oh yeah we'll we'll catch up back with them though we're not

spk_0 done with them yeah it's like we're doing all these other hanging threads it is funny how much they

spk_0 again they just been kind of a side thing it don't matter they don't matter at all it's just

spk_0 enough to get saunji's backstory that's all they're there for other than the the the get us

spk_0 into this situation and that's incredible and i think that um where we left off where like

spk_0 like saunji had that big speech with judge i feel like that was kind of the like all right we're

spk_0 we're done right like yeah yeah and i think that was no reason to have anything to do with that

spk_0 it's just a matter of really comes down to israjou okay yeah yes yes you are correct

spk_0 i'd that's really all anybody cares about but uh yeah but uh yeah he's like

spk_0 parents bears just sort of talk to ourselves like uh i suppose this suits me just fine i have a

spk_0 score to schedule to settle losing my right hand isn't so bad i can simply fashion a replacement

spk_0 out of candy but each time that i enjoy my hot afternoon tea and the heat melts from the cup

spk_0 melts my hand i'm going to be reminded that hateful jaguar minks face isn't that right Napoleon

spk_0 there's nothing more him being it he's like sure whatever

spk_0 well it's it's funny you you have those two panels side by side of perispiro being like and how

spk_0 should i torment his companions and mean of all you know you see carrot just you know kind of hold

spk_0 him back her tears and her pure rage i want to see i i i feel like cross i don't know if it'll

spk_0 happen really hope carrot takes out perispiro but i was also hoping for saunji to take out his

spk_0 brothers or his father right so i don't i i nothing's a guarantee again i i feel like it is really

spk_0 novel how few like one-on-one fights this arcass yeah like the there's i mean there's fighting but

spk_0 like not in the you know it is like we're gonna square off and it's like this character versus

spk_0 this character type thing that we saw like we finally got luffy fun going to start at his fight with

spk_0 cotta curry and it's like this is kind of it's kind of like a kid fight really yeah yeah cracker

spk_0 i know you like i think sets the stage for kata the kind of the different levels these two are

spk_0 operating gone right and it's like right now you know like you know kata kri just like kicks him

spk_0 into the wall you know lufi hasn't even like reacted yet and he's like so you're gonna try

spk_0 strength next and he's just like again just like fighting a guy who can see your every move coming

spk_0 like yeah and then you know lufi goes for his l gum gum elephant gun and uh catechari's just like

spk_0 just no no sells it it's like man what a huge punch and then you see that another panel and

spk_0 kata kri matches him and it's twice the size of lufi's three times it just overwhelms it

spk_0 yeah i just like pushes him back like into the ceiling uh that's just like we're already here again

spk_0 like lufi has already like like he's tired he's winded and and kata kri is so casual about it he's

spk_0 just like no no no no every every single attack that lufi has like he's just no and so that

spk_0 the crazy thing to me is it feels like kata kri is learning new moves from lufi's like oh you're

spk_0 doing this i think i can do that with my powers too and just mad yeah yeah exactly yeah so it's just

spk_0 like okay you're i feel like this is gonna be one of those are like oh you're gonna have to

spk_0 you're gonna have to get creative right like um going because just kind of on a baseline level like

spk_0 does he said like i can do everything you can do and i can see the future so yeah i do think

spk_0 gear 4 is absolutely gonna be necessary but it is a big risk and

spk_0 who knows how this yeah i feel like it's it's telling that lufi

spk_0 i think because he knows that like you know because of the time limit right like

spk_0 i feel like like kata kri is so much more of like i guess like a subtle expression of that like

spk_0 jack jack is like you know raw strength just like crashing every which way but like this this sort

spk_0 of like a confidence to kata kri that is like really like like you're below me in every sense of

spk_0 the word he he is hyper competent yeah no he really he really is jack is just brutality uh and

spk_0 yeah kata kri is just pure competent and able to see and adjust and we have not had a fight like

spk_0 finale like he gets that we get to emphasize his cooking yeah is he we already already started the

spk_0 effects of his kindness now it's time to see the effects of his cooking yeah and that's that's a

spk_0 great plotting by odour to have like work like that absolutely and of course uh putting

spk_0 explains that yeah i mean move the big instant from all the cooks memories in other words they think

spk_0 the wedding happened and were married but the wedding was ruined uh so now you know we got you have

spk_0 a fresh cake so uh you know it's fortunately the memories of the first cake are still fresh and

spk_0 vivid and uh they're taking a look at the blue print and recipe is like oh i did let me know if

spk_0 there's any mistakes like you did this it's perfect it even got the secret ingredient chef's

spk_0 truss and spent a week coming up with her to a good but i couldn't imagine you were this good

spk_0 i love how it's a nice bit of a leave uh like uh levity as we go into this and we we knuckle down

spk_0 because it's a battle against time so chiffon a ninja bake an enormous chiffon cake putting

spk_0 on each and completely temper the chocolate within the span of two hours and 40 minutes uh

spk_0 that's when i perform the secret step i'm gonna show you all the true essence of sweetness that

spk_0 people can uh that can drive people to absolute bliss and i love as somebody who watches the great

spk_0 British bakeoff this is just a great British bakeoff challenge it is it is like you like uh you

spk_0 need to make this cake and you have two hours 40 minutes biggers bake yeah look there again

spk_0 we're on a deadline even gets like putting all embarrassed like the essence of sweetness so

spk_0 we'll get the cake on the ship in three hours decorate it and let it cool on the deck so the

spk_0 ultimate cake is completed by the time we reach the sunny so it's an airtight process and uh so we

spk_0 gotta do it fast uh or else mom is gonna destroy the country so uh chiffon's making her ascending

spk_0 to heaven fluffy chiffon cake uh you know sondi's locking in and uh we have to help sondi's uh

spk_0 stomping down towards luffy that's nuts it is it's such a i can't it's such a goofy power but it is so

spk_0 intimidating it is just like it's so even now like you can tell it's so desperate like

spk_0 oh luffy's just barely staying away he gets he gets a hold of the mirror starts shouting out

spk_0 towards nami and uh it's like you know somebody answer me uh it's a nami gets a hold of it's like hey

spk_0 are you all right and uh the more coming in it's like there's there's still more more mirrors on

spk_0 the ship like in the boys room or the bath break them smash them all it's like well how are you

spk_0 gonna get back i don't know but i'll find a way i'll do something uh and you know we can see they're

spk_0 just shooting our arrow straight through the way yeah i just like we have to ship one fire

spk_0 yeah they don't even have to go through and they're all just they're all just laughing uh

spk_0 and again luffy like again like he's like you know like just knock it off try to you know try

spk_0 to stop him but got a gory is just you just can't get past him and the the other thing with that is

spk_0 just um this is the most damage we've seen sunny taken a while oh yeah literally set it set on fire

spk_0 gonna go but yeah details and the way it's all gonna play out that's gonna be the how it's why

spk_0 i think the thing that that's really stood out to me this week is like even just simple stuff right

spk_0 like we we spent like a chapter and a half like two like a chapter half two chapters of like

spk_0 just trying to get those sought to like get off a coup d'ethe so we can get away and the

spk_0 amount of things that kept escalating and escalating and escalating and escalating just to get like

spk_0 that one thing to happen and of course you know like pager having to sacrifice himself at the final

spk_0 moment like the build up i think just to accomplish fairly simple straightforward tasks is kind of

spk_0 like kind of a hallmark here like it and there's a single chapter where they're safe like there is

spk_0 it is not sure it's on them constantly ever ever since once they split up from beijer it's like

spk_0 all right time to run and then you know like once big mom caught up to them like that first time

spk_0 you know before you kill poor uh uh king bomb right like it's just been just desperate after that

spk_0 like you get you get these little bits of um you know like you get these little wins you get

spk_0 these little bits of salvation but like even now you know like they're the straw hats are far

spk_0 out to see it this point and big mom is still on the chase like she will literally she has got

spk_0 going to stop until she gets that cake uh and that like i don't know if we've ever seen a one

spk_0 piece villain that is this just like just just on them like glue it's incredible i yeah i i think

spk_0 like there was a there was a desperation to um to um gosh it's been uh i'm blanking on the

spk_0 previous arc uh oh dresser so dresser so there's yeah there's a desperation to dress rocis well

spk_0 yeah but yeah i i don't know i i all it all felt manageable like it's like yeah of course you

spk_0 get out i think that like because the um the alliance that loufie ended up building was so large

spk_0 right like you had that town and you had like every every other person had beef with doflamingo

spk_0 like it he yeah that really was a situation where like this is how loufie built in built his army

spk_0 like like just through the the raw power friendship this is like whole cake is like every step

spk_0 way is like yes you have allies in you know oh surprise you know bejays here trying to assassinate

spk_0 big mom and surprise like uh we kind of ended up working with germa like they ended up kind of

spk_0 being helpful um but like just like you have these situations where like the straw hats are just

spk_0 kind of on their own right now right like germa's not here bejays not here you know maybe they'll

spk_0 come in for the save at some point but like they just have to survive like just on their own with

spk_0 half the crew a freaking emperor like there's no again like i feel like there's no kind of like

spk_0 building up up the ranks or do you think that is big mom is on you like she is trying to kill you

spk_0 Leo and i've seen so many times leading up to this where i was so afraid that with half the crew

spk_0 if they actually managed to take out big mom and feel like a a cheapening of the emperors exactly

spk_0 yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that that Oda is able to kind of maintain that like mystique right and

spk_0 I think now that we we have finally gotten like okay yeah like Luffy's appointed for this arc is

spk_0 not big Bob it's Katakuri and I think like it makes the most sense to have Luffy's kind of big 1v1

spk_0 like it is kind of Oda saying like yeah Luffy's not rated a what we want in emperor yet right like

spk_0 we he's barely he's barely ready to take on you know like her top one guy right like we've

spk_0 just gotten a little bit of that fight but it's like and we don't even know if Jack was the top general

spk_0 of kido right kido you can't turn it off if we said that or not I think I think I think

spk_0 this I think I don't think anything one mentioned I just think it was up there but yeah I don't

spk_0 think he's top and I kind of doubt it yeah if we've already dealt with like I don't know he got

spk_0 of still trapped on the bottom of the ocean so yeah yeah so I I think like and I think that that's

spk_0 are the major threat like how how do you kind of build that up and I think this this is the smartest

spk_0 to like to take down an emperor I feel like we we have we have already that has already been

spk_0 illustrated that's actually established that and you can honestly just look at the length of

spk_0 yeah it just it just gets bigger the just escalates and escalates and escalates just oh man
