playoffs.
spk_0
American League Division series two of those games are over in each.
spk_0
J's up to zip mariners come back and take game two in Seattle.
spk_0
Series even headed back to Detroit.
spk_0
We got one game done on the NL side.
spk_0
Brewers up a game Dodgers up a game will recap will preview will laugh and
spk_0
dang right will cry.
spk_0
Hello and welcome to baseball barbeque has only baseball podcast in the world.
spk_0
We can't wait to watch Vladimir Guerrero Jr's dad play baseball.
spk_0
I'm Jake miss.
spk_0
That's Jordan Schusterman.
spk_0
Um, wow.
spk_0
Dude, I'm so excited to talk about Vlad.
spk_0
This was a wonderful weekend of baseball.
spk_0
It's good to see you.
spk_0
It is Monday.
spk_0
I was up late watching the mariners hang on for dear life.
spk_0
Wrote some words about it.
spk_0
Now I'm going to talk some words about it.
spk_0
Jake, you are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where you had that weird off day as
spk_0
soon as the series begins.
spk_0
We're going to get to the national league on the back half of this episode of
spk_0
baseball barbeque has, but we are going to begin north of the border.
spk_0
Our opener is the Yankees getting demolished.
spk_0
The New York Yankees are currently down by the score of 23 to eight on aggregate.
spk_0
Over the first two ball games, two separate obliterations to be frank, the 13 to
spk_0
seven score in game two does not really showcase what the energy of the afternoon was.
spk_0
But we'll begin with game one Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
spk_0
Opens the series where they saw the home run in the bottom of the first inning off Luis
spk_0
Heel, Alejandro Kirk, Cranx, two home runs.
spk_0
There's a air and judge strikeouts with the bases loaded in nobody out.
spk_0
Louis, Varland is throwing a hundred and one out of the J's pen.
spk_0
Toronto piles on late against Luke Weaver who has another stinky outing.
spk_0
They win 10 to one.
spk_0
Game two, Max freed on the bump against Treyis Savage.
spk_0
Rookie Hurler for the Toronto Blue J's making just his fourth career start major leagues.
spk_0
And your savage is dominant.
spk_0
He does not allow a hit through five and a third innings of work.
spk_0
11 strikeouts.
spk_0
Just one of the more like we've had some unbelievable pitching performances already this
spk_0
postseason, right?
spk_0
I would say the first scuba game crochet,
spk_0
Schletler and you but you savage what he did yesterday with really two pitches.
spk_0
The fastball in the split was remarkable.
spk_0
Blue J's get a bizarre Ernie Clement home or early off Max freed.
spk_0
They pour a couple more on against him in the third inning.
spk_0
They're going five oh in the fourth and then break it it break it open.
spk_0
Got my Baltimore accent break it open with a Vladimir Grierger Jr.
spk_0
Grand slam in the fifth inning off of Will Warren and they end up winning 13 to seven.
spk_0
As the series heads to the Bronx and the Blue J's, they are in the driver's seat which in Canada
spk_0
is also on the left side of the car.
spk_0
Let's begin with the Blue J's triumph and there are there is a lot to get to here.
spk_0
Before we talk about how bad the Yankees looked and what was maybe surprising and what wasn't,
spk_0
let's talk about what went well.
spk_0
So a game one, I mean first of all Kirk, what a season for him.
spk_0
He is one of the most underrated players in baseball for sure.
spk_0
He is a tremendous defender.
spk_0
He is clearly a plus hitter for a catcher.
spk_0
He finished the season with a look at the guy, right?
spk_0
This is one of the best players in baseball.
spk_0
Okay, that is a fact.
spk_0
Okay, this is, I know it's hard to believe.
spk_0
Your casual Yankee fan friend who hasn't watched them play the Blue J's in the post season,
spk_0
that doesn't watch the regular season.
spk_0
Like this guy is kicking our ass.
spk_0
Yeah, he is.
spk_0
He is fantastic.
spk_0
He finished the season with a two-homer game in game 162.
spk_0
He starts the post season with the two-homer game against the Yankees and he's just an awesome
spk_0
player. So that was very cool to see Kirk.
spk_0
The other cool thing about Kirk and we bring Vlad Jr. back into this.
spk_0
Is that, and I wrote a little bit about this in my game one recap,
spk_0
is that Kirk and Vlad are the two guys, along with Boba Shet, who we know is injured,
spk_0
who have been on the three post season teams that got swept since 2020, right?
spk_0
We've talked about this 2020, 2022, 2023.
spk_0
The Blue J's getting swept in those three wild card rounds.
spk_0
Vlad had gone three for 22 in those games.
spk_0
He had that very memorable two-blan against the twins where he got picked off at second.
spk_0
And it was like, that's what we were.
spk_0
Those were the Vlad moments.
spk_0
It was a collective failure, of course.
spk_0
It's not like we were thinking about Vlad as some choke artist.
spk_0
The dude's still 26 and he wasn't doomed.
spk_0
But for Vlad and then, for Kirk, for these guys who did experience these losses
spk_0
with the Blue J's in the post season, for them to show a big time in game one was a huge deal.
spk_0
And then for Vlad in particular, which is really what I focused on right about game one,
spk_0
of course, he delivers an even bigger swing in game two, which is just like this was it.
spk_0
This is what we've been building towards.
spk_0
These are swings more than a decade in the making, if not even longer,
spk_0
since he signed with the Blue J's 10 years ago as one of the most celebrated amateurs of all time,
spk_0
to live up to the hype, to clearly become an MVP caliber hitter,
spk_0
to go through the ups and downs individually and collectively.
spk_0
And then earlier this year, we were like, is it a moment like this ever going to be possible?
spk_0
Are we preparing for his last season as a Blue J and even if he does stay around,
spk_0
when is he going to be in the post season again?
spk_0
And here he is, man.
spk_0
He sure is in the post season.
spk_0
And he has been absolutely raking over these first few games.
spk_0
And for Vlad Jr., last thing I'll say about him is before I kick it back to you, it's just like,
spk_0
you know, I think about him in the context of his two Dominican homies,
spk_0
Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr., you know, they all signed in that same class 10 years ago,
spk_0
they've all taken these very different paths with very different teams to get here.
spk_0
And we've already, you know, Soto and Tatis are already out.
spk_0
And we're not going to get to watch them in the post season.
spk_0
Soto, of course, has had his moments.
spk_0
Tatis were still kind of waiting for those post season moments.
spk_0
But now it's Vlad's turn.
spk_0
And the Blue J's are in command.
spk_0
And if they keep rolling, we're going to get to see a lot more swings like this.
spk_0
And I am very excited for that to be the case.
spk_0
The Dominican player that I was thinking about is Devers.
spk_0
Because when you look at the red socks, right, and how the whole series against the Yankees
spk_0
are like, man, they could really use one more bat, you know, and then you have Vlad who's
spk_0
sticking around presumably until bus for Posey trades for him in four years or whatever.
spk_0
Like that's what the money is.
spk_0
Like a couple years, a couple years older, but it's a good point.
spk_0
Yeah, obviously with Tatis and Soto, those three are like linked forever.
spk_0
But no, it's true.
spk_0
It's true.
spk_0
You know, these are, this is the guy.
spk_0
This is as you tweeted.
spk_0
This is why you pay the man.
spk_0
This is it like they gave him a $500 million contract.
spk_0
Now it's not paid off already, but that swing in game two is what?
spk_0
$30 million worth of like, that was amazing.
spk_0
They were in the world series.
spk_0
I mean, it's certainly going to feel that way.
spk_0
You know, I mean, that's it's hard to quantify that.
spk_0
But it is such a reminder to where it's like, oh, but his war isn't that high.
spk_0
Oh, how much is he really worth?
spk_0
It's like, who cares?
spk_0
You get to this point.
spk_0
You need a dude that can hit the ball over the fence in a huge moment and let's cool
spk_0
doing it.
spk_0
That's Vlad Jr.
spk_0
Baby.
spk_0
And he just, when his at bats are good, like when he's locked in and he's taken
spk_0
good at bats, it's so, he is so dangerous.
spk_0
Right.
spk_0
What I have enjoyed about it so far this postseason is like, he really has been floating
spk_0
as the best, like, hitter in the second tier, right, of hitters or the worst in the top tier.
spk_0
Right.
spk_0
But really the best in the second best here.
spk_0
Like, he is not quite at the, he's not so, right.
spk_0
We've said this a million times, he's not so, but through these first two games,
spk_0
he has looked so to eat where you like have to think about the presence of Raphael,
spk_0
Devers, the entire way through the lineup in the same way that you do, you know, with
spk_0
air judge or Otani or, you know, locked in Shorber or whatever.
spk_0
I would now like to talk about game two and Trey's savage.
spk_0
Well, sorry, Kevin Gossman, very good at game one.
spk_0
Kind of like, yeah.
spk_0
But very important for the, for the blue jeans to win the Kevin Gossman versus Louise Heel game,
spk_0
that was not shocking, right.
spk_0
That's a game the Yankees probably were not, they did not pin their hopes on that.
spk_0
However, the max freed against Guy making his fourth big league start game.
spk_0
I think there was maybe a higher expectations.
spk_0
And I think it's worth telling, you know, the Trey's savage story from the beginning.
spk_0
So he goes to East Carolina University and he is really good there.
spk_0
We interview him at the draft combine last summer, which is preposterous, gets taken by
spk_0
the blue jays in the first round. I believe 20th overall.
spk_0
And he starts this season, 21 years old, starts this season as a member of the Daneden Blue Jays.
spk_0
I wrote about this that he made his first start of the season in front of 327 people
spk_0
in the Florida State.
spk_0
Great detail.
spk_0
Facing them.
spk_0
And it was probably fewer than that to be if we're being honest.
spk_0
I went back and watched some of the clips from the broadcast.
spk_0
I could count 21 non-team employees or scouts pictured behind the dish
spk_0
in the sections that were on camera.
spk_0
And he was pretty bad that day.
spk_0
He walked six hitters.
spk_0
He walked six Jupiter hammerheads at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida.
spk_0
It was not sharp.
spk_0
And then less than six months later, he is dominating the New York Yankees in a postseason game.
spk_0
He appeared for all five affiliates.
spk_0
I guess is the big league team in affiliate.
spk_0
I guess so.
spk_0
He played in low A, high A, double A, triple A, and in the big leagues this year.
spk_0
And he said something during the press conference that really struck me.
spk_0
It was just like, I've met the whole organization.
spk_0
And so when you have trade a savage and you compare him with Vlad and Bo and Kirk,
spk_0
like Vlad and Bo and Kirk have obviously been there for longer and have lived this life
spk_0
in the big leagues as a blue J.
spk_0
But no person except like the GM has a better, more comprehensive understanding of the Toronto
spk_0
blue jazze as an institution.
spk_0
And the minor league system ventraya savage.
spk_0
He's playing on every team.
spk_0
He's like this current moment.
spk_0
In this current moment.
spk_0
Yeah, like, and I think that that is a very, you know, it's obviously a different dynamic.
spk_0
But it's so interesting.
spk_0
He's like, yes, I have thrown to like 14 different catchers this year.
spk_0
You know, I know all the pitching coaches in the organization.
spk_0
And here he is in the big leagues dominating.
spk_0
And let's talk about how he did it, right?
spk_0
It's, it is a unique, unique.
spk_0
Look, there has been so much written over the last couple of years about, you know,
spk_0
fastball shape and fastball angle.
spk_0
You know, we took something called vertical attack angle, which is the angle through which the
spk_0
ball passes the strike zone and how the Spencer striders, Alex Vessias of the world are trying
spk_0
to create this flat attack angle where the ball is rising and stays on plane.
spk_0
What Treyisavage's splitter is doing is like the opposite, right?
spk_0
It is creating a steep, a vertical attack angle as possible,
spk_0
which when you are an outlier in any regard, it is very difficult for hitters to square it up
spk_0
because they have literally never seen anything like this before.
spk_0
You savage made three starts during the regular season.
spk_0
None of them were against the Yankees.
spk_0
The Yankees were not able to prepare for you, Savage, because the super fancy high-tech hit tracks
spk_0
device they have does not travel on the road and they went straight from beating the Red
spk_0
Sucks in Game 3 to getting on a bird to fly to Toronto.
spk_0
And so the novelty of Treyisavage, not to take anything away from him, certainly contributed to
spk_0
how dominant he was against the Yankees in Game 2.
spk_0
Yeah, 100 percent. I think that those words, the outlier, that's really, I think, what has been
spk_0
clear in pitching developments and not that you can't just create good shapes and create good
spk_0
pitches if you have a normal arm angle or normal release because clearly that happens too.
spk_0
But if you're different and there aren't, think about how many teams, how many pitchers
spk_0
teams have now. I mean, they're churning through so many different arms. You would think
spk_0
you've seen almost every kind of arm by this point, but this is a different one. He is as
spk_0
over the top as it gets in the big leagues. And to combine that with the splitter that you mentioned,
spk_0
it is, it is special. And I think it's also an interesting contrast to what we just watched
spk_0
with Cam Schliitler, right? Because what Schliitler did and what maybe he will get the chance to do
spk_0
again in Game 4, although we'll see about that, is essentially just overwhelm you with velocity,
spk_0
right? It was not necessarily a secret of what his attack plan was going to be if you were
spk_0
the Red Sox. Now they also had not seen him. So there was a level of discomfort there and
spk_0
unfamiliar. But he was just overwhelming them. Trayn's sandwich was doing that, but he wasn't
spk_0
throwing that hard. He was just throwing in a way that was so unusual. And he was executing that
spk_0
pitch as he has since he basically broke out his sophomore year at East Carolina where it was like,
spk_0
oh my god, this delivery and this pitch is so weird and so good. And he has enough velocity for
spk_0
it to combine to be absolutely dominant, which is what he was in college. And if you're wondering why
spk_0
in the world is he go 20th overall, in some cases it is because he is weird and because he did have
spk_0
some injury issues that I don't need to get into now. But that is why teams were scared off because
spk_0
sometimes teams at this point, it's easy to be like, oh, he's different. It's great. We love it.
spk_0
It's winning us opposed to the game. It's also the kind of thing that a lot of teams are going to be
spk_0
like, is this going to hold up? Is he going to be able to do this for 200 innings? Is this
spk_0
actually going to fool Major League hitters all the time? Well, that doesn't matter right now.
spk_0
And the Blue Jays were correct in being proactive in promoting him and realizing that he was one of
spk_0
their best options. Obviously, they had other injuries that helped move him to the forefront. But
spk_0
clearly, they are reaping the benefits of him being this unique and being this ready to perform
spk_0
in this situation. Now it helped too that he had gobs and gobs of run support. He could pitch
spk_0
in a very comfortable situation as he, you know, after the first couple innings. And we can flip it
spk_0
over to the Yankees shortcomings here in a second. But it was the perfect combination and all the
spk_0
scenes of him embracing and understanding what he had done and seeing his parents there. Like,
spk_0
it was so cool for a dude that, yeah, I mean, it's just just barely removed from being drafted.
spk_0
You know, it's easy to, we've seen a lot of guys go straight to the big leagues. I reached
spk_0
Wheathe Sun from JJ Cooper. We've talked about this. How it's like, man, these guys are just
spk_0
showing up. If you draft the right guy from college, he can make a difference very quickly.
spk_0
This is, of course, a best case scenario in so many respects. And you just, you can't say enough
spk_0
about what he did. And then you have to think about, you know, with Schlittler, you wonder, okay,
spk_0
are we going to see him again in game four with your Savage? Just wondering when we could see him
spk_0
again and what that would look like is really exciting. Playoff debuts like this for youngsters.
spk_0
Remind me of like, I mean, I was single in New York for like two years. I never really had this
spk_0
moment when I was dating, trying to date. It was like, I cannot wait to see that person again.
spk_0
Like, you on a first date, right? And you're like, we hit it all. I can't, when do I,
spk_0
when do I get to see you again? You know, that's how I feel about Tray is having to try now.
spk_0
What do I get to see this again? Yeah, that's true. But now Jake did not, did not find that.
spk_0
And that's why he's married to his high school girlfriend.
spk_0
Which is fine. Hey, but in this case, I think that that isn't good analogy because yeah,
spk_0
it's like, I don't want to wait till game five on short rest. Like, I don't really know what the next
spk_0
time we would see him would be he only through. So he's again, he's got a no hitter through five
spk_0
and a third. He gets pulled with 78 pitches because the blue jays are up by a billion runs.
spk_0
And John Schneider's like, all right, well, we don't need to show them any more Tray a savage.
spk_0
Like he improved his point. Let's take him out and show them any more Tray a savage or any of our
spk_0
important relievers. And that sort of backfires as the Yankees stage a little mini comeback, put some
spk_0
runs on the board, end up having to go to Mason flew hardy to work out of some trouble. And
spk_0
and Dominguez both. Varlan and Dominguez, Hoffman does not pitch E3 in one. I mean, let's just touch
spk_0
on the Yankees now. Hard to blame them. Like a savage. It was just so good. The problem with this
spk_0
game is that the pitching didn't keep it close enough for the offense to have a shot. Like,
spk_0
right? Like they scored seven runs. It was perfectly legitimate offensive showing.
spk_0
And but we'll warn not being able to keep it close after free didn't have his best stuff like that.
spk_0
That really, I'm sure it stays. I think, look, so I think I put this in my story. There have been,
spk_0
this is the 72nd time in the DS era that a team has gone up to. All right. How many times do you
spk_0
think a team came back down to? I mean, I, I don't know the exact number, but I know because they
spk_0
put it up as soon as the game ends on the screen, which is I believe it is a, and well, I'm answering
spk_0
the opposite of your question, which is that 89%. I believe of teams that go up to go on to win,
spk_0
which is a pretty comfortable number. Only eight. Yeah. No team has come back from a two O DS
spk_0
deficit since the 2017 Yankees went down to zero against the Guardians. I believe that was a game
spk_0
we watched with Jason Concepcion at a bar in Brooklyn. I don't know if you remember this. Whoa.
spk_0
Yeah. I do remember doing that. I do not remember what game we were watching. But yes, that timing
spk_0
of that makes sense. Anyway, so like the state, the, this is going to be really tough. Now, look,
spk_0
the Yankees do have Carlos Rodón going at home in game three, who was very solid and in his first
spk_0
postseason start. This is why the Blue Jays went out and got Shane Bieber, right? And for the Blue Jays,
spk_0
like they tomorrow really is like the game. I think they should take care of business
spk_0
because then they lose the starting pitching advantage a little bit, at least in game four,
spk_0
where you're going to have Schletler against like bullpen game Eric Lauer, I think. I don't know how
spk_0
to go before because Schurser's not even on the roster. No, Schurser's not on the roster. Yeah.
spk_0
So then game five, no, Kevin Gossman against short rest Max Fried. Could this series go back to
spk_0
Toronto? I think it totally could. But the Blue Jays have just such a commanding advantage right now.
spk_0
And I saw some tweet online and then I won't take a break. It was like Aaron Judge has a 1044
spk_0
OPS, but in the past, but he's got to step up in the big moments. It's like, like yeah.
spk_0
But like he he's hitting. He's hitting singles. Yeah. I mean, I think is this like, so let's say the
spk_0
Yankees lose game three. If the Yankees lose game three, it will be about Judge because everything
spk_0
is always about Judge because he is the captain and one of the best players of generation and the
spk_0
greatest Yankee didn't ever win a ring already. He's already passed Manningly in that regard. But
spk_0
I see what you're getting at. I don't totally disagree. But that inning is what hurts the most.
spk_0
That base is loaded with Judge and nobody out like that is, you know, you don't want to zoom in
spk_0
too much on one at bat and one in a game one. But when you consider how non competitive the rest of
spk_0
the entire series was because for that, you have that and then you have the contrast which is
spk_0
Vlad hitting the Grand Slam to make it nine nothing, right? So now that's against well Warren.
spk_0
There's different circumstances and Gossmann made a good pitch and well, did he make a good pitch?
spk_0
I mean, it wasn't he set it up well because of the rest of the at bat, but it was that was not a
spk_0
chase that you're used to seeing Judge doing and it, you know, he made him look silly. I mean, that's
spk_0
what splitters do ironically for two days in a row. But you know, that's that's why it does feel like
spk_0
it falls on Judge to some degree. Now, Stan also struck out in that in that inning as well.
spk_0
But that's the ending where it feels like you could have changed the direction of the series. And
spk_0
instead, you have historic levels of blowouts. I mean, I think the the blue J's setting a record for
spk_0
the most runs over the first two postseason games for any team ever to start to start a playoff run.
spk_0
And it's by I think the first time the Yankees have allowed 10 runs in consecutive playoff games
spk_0
in their franchise history, which this is another funny thing about the playoffs is that for almost
spk_0
every other franchise, when you hear first blank in franchise history in playoff history, it doesn't
spk_0
really mean much because most teams haven't actually been to the postseason that often. So like,
spk_0
it was the first blue J's grand slam in postseason history, which is cool, but like that's not that
spk_0
many games. But when you hear what the Yankees are doing, this is what made Slitler so amazing,
spk_0
right? When you're doing things that have never happened in Yankees playoff history, in this case,
spk_0
in the wrong direction, which is allowing 10 runs in consecutive games, we're dealing with some
spk_0
clearly things are going very, very, very wrong. And then that's why it's hard to feel super good
spk_0
about them going going back to the Bronx. But they are talented enough to make this interesting.
spk_0
And once again, Carlos is going to have to show up and what an opportunity for Shane Bieber. I mean,
spk_0
they they purposefully whipped him in your savage so that he would be on the road and, you know,
spk_0
a veteran more comfortable going into the Bronx and performing there. Whereas you savage,
spk_0
you kind of build off that home crowd clearly that first part worked. We'll see how Bieber does.
spk_0
Last thing before we take a break, a Dalton Varsho 4 for 5 with two doubles and two home runs
spk_0
yesterday just kind of felt like malpractice if we didn't say his name out loud in the segment.
spk_0
I mean, what a season for Dalton Varsho who dealt with some injuries,
spk_0
this dude slugged 548 this season with some of the best centerfield defense. And he's he
spk_0
he's he at 20 homeers in 71 games. So he is a very important part of that entire
spk_0
paint, not just, you know, offense. And yeah, especially when he's facing right, he is dangerous.
spk_0
All right. You will be there in the Bronx. I assume. Yes. For game three. All right. So we will
spk_0
hear from Jake on Wednesday. Will the Yankees season be over or not? All right. We're going to take
spk_0
a break. We return. We head out west for the Mariners and the Tigers.

spk_0
And welcome back to baseball barbacat. Grab a tissue, try your eyes, let the tears flow because the Seattle
spk_0
Mariners that stumbling, bumbling goofball of a franchise, an institution of woe for so long.
spk_0
Last night for the first time since 2001, emerged victorious from a home playoff game, legitimately unbelievable,
spk_0
legitimately emotional, just fantastic stuff. People be like, oh, this is the Mariners World Series. You know what? You shut up.
spk_0
Okay, they could lose the next two games in Detroit and the season would be a failure and yet the memories,
spk_0
the moment, the feeling of who you're ugly as stroking that RBI double and a fitting against the
spk_0
Tigers will live on forever because it was that cool. Let's review the first game of the series,
spk_0
a real back and forth affair. Carrie Carmander hits his fifth home run against George Kirby and
spk_0
11 played appearances, which is ridiculous. Carmander remains very dangerous against
spk_0
Red handed pitching. There's a Julio Homer in the first inning. The Carbiter 1 makes a 2-1.
spk_0
The Mariners tie it up. It goes to extras. Carlos Vargas allows a run in the top of the 11th. I believe
spk_0
on a Zach McInstree RBI single and Detroit wins 3-2. Anything you want to focus on in the first
spk_0
game? Well, yeah, I mean, you mentioned Julio. Julio shows up in game one. You know, he hits that
spk_0
home or the first run that they've scored because of that 18 inning nightmare against the Astros in
spk_0
game three in 2022 where the Mariners didn't even score. They had just been way to score run. Forget
spk_0
the win. Just trying to score run. Julio Homer's in the fourth and then he drives in the run later
spk_0
to tie the game in the sixth. But both of these bullpen's were just outrageous. And these
spk_0
offenses besides Julio and Cal. Julio and Cal goes six for 10. The rest of the Mariners go 0 for 28.
spk_0
That is not going to get the job done, folks. And you know, we mentioned earlier that the Blue Jays
spk_0
winning the Kevin Gossman against Louise Heal was kind of like, yeah, that's got to happen.
spk_0
The Mariners could not seize on the advantage of George Kirby against rookie Troy Melton,
spk_0
who Troy Melton had just gotten shelled against Cleveland in relief. I think Troy Melton's really
spk_0
good. And I think he's one of Detroit's best starters and it makes sense that if they're
spk_0
out there and he looked pretty good for four innings. But still, Kirby,
spk_0
Triti, have you even been in? Left to face Carpenter a third time, probably not. Carpenter makes
spk_0
him pay. And while the Mariners bullpen basically showed up until Vargas, so do the Tigers.
spk_0
You know, after Rafael Montero's Rafael Montero, he inning. I mean, Holden,
spk_0
Cainley, Finnegan, Will Vest, Bulletproof Vest, who I must remind folks was given away by the Tigers.
spk_0
The Mariners took him in the Rule 5. Will Vest rookie season was putting up a 6-ERA with the Mariners
spk_0
in 2021. He got returned to the Tigers. And since become one of the best. The Mariners said,
spk_0
Mariners said thanks, but no thanks. You can take Will Vest back. Yeah, they were like,
spk_0
this is not good enough for us. And now he's obviously become Bulletproof Vest in Detroit.
spk_0
And then Cater Montero comes in for the save in the 11th and that's a thing.
spk_0
So in shit. I mean, yeah, it was just it was it was brutal. I mean, this is and this is also part
spk_0
of what made the game to triumph. So special is because it felt like it was all going to go wrong,
spk_0
especially as we go into game two. We've got Terrick Scoobal in the mount. I mean, again,
spk_0
the prospect of like, you're already down 1-0 and now you got to deal with Scoobal. Okay,
spk_0
you were already maybe mentally thinking, ah, they're not going to beat Scoobal for a third time
spk_0
this season. You got to at least take game one. Of course, remember the whole sub context of this,
spk_0
that we haven't even mentioned yet because we didn't know when we last talked is that Brian
spk_0
Wu's not on the roster. Brian Wu's still dealing with his pec injury. And so they had to go with
spk_0
Castillo and Kirby in the first two games. They trusted their kind of comfort pitching at home compared
spk_0
to Logan Gilbert who they trust more on the road. Logan Gilbert their best pitcher without Wu.
spk_0
Gilbert's going to go game three. When we get Kirby and game one, we get Castillo and game two.
spk_0
And in game two, it's Castillo versus Scoobal Castillo. No hits through four innings, but the
spk_0
command isn't great. The pitch counts getting up there. And Dan Wilson essentially gets a
spk_0
mulligan with Kerry. Carbiter coming up for a third time against Castillo. And he's like, we
spk_0
ain't doing this again. Runs on the coroner's game. Spire comes in strikes out Kerry Carbiter because
spk_0
that's what Gabe Spire does. And then it kind of settles into a close game except for two enormous
spk_0
swings courtesy of Jorge Polanco. Jake, I don't know how close you were watching this game last night,
spk_0
but I want to throw back to you before I kind of give my little Jorge Polanco monologue. But
spk_0
what were you kind of feeling watching the first seven innings of this game?
spk_0
Can't wait to see how the Mariners screw this up. You know, because I know you and I know what you've
spk_0
seen. And you just expect sadness. And it's like the messiest thing, right? You just think it's
spk_0
going to go wrong. So you just wait for it to go wrong. Even as Polanco is giving Terrick's
spk_0
scuba a swirly. You're like, man, well, I hope they can keep the Tigers offensive bay.
spk_0
But go ahead and talk about Polanco because he has such a fascinating season where there are times
spk_0
where he looks just awful. Like he'll be like just an unusable hitter for three weeks. And then
spk_0
there are three weeks where he's, you know, Barry bots. Yeah. I mean, we got to go back a little
spk_0
farther than that. I mean, when they got Jorge Polanco from the twins ahead of the 2024 season,
spk_0
it was like perfect fit. I mean, this is exactly the kind of player that they have been looking for
spk_0
for this lineup. And last year, because Polanco was essentially playing through a bum knee for
spk_0
the entire year, he stunk. And it was just kind of like by June, you were just like, well,
spk_0
this didn't work. This is incredibly disappointing for the player, for the team. And it sucked. And
spk_0
it wasn't you knew he was injured. He was grinding through it. And it was just like, I you can't
spk_0
really be mad at him because he's still playing, but it just it was so hard to watch. He goes into
spk_0
free agency. And you're just like, well, he's clearly not going to get paid. But also, does he want to
spk_0
come back and try and hit and see at all? He gets knee surgery in the off season. He's kind of just
spk_0
off the radar. No one's really thinking about him. We get these reports in January. He's like, I'm
spk_0
going to be good to go fully ready for spring training. The Astros are interested. The Yankees are
spk_0
interested. And he ends up back with the Mariners, which was, which was shocking. I mean, I think that
spk_0
the fact that he wanted to go back there and that they wanted to kind of try again made sense that
spk_0
they would maybe want to try again at a relatively low cost. But it was amazing that he really wanted to
spk_0
stick with his team. And he comes out in September in April and is one of the best hitters in
spk_0
baseball. But to your point, then he just forgets how to hit. He's one of the worst hitters in
spk_0
baseball in May and June. He's dealing with an oblique injury. He never goes on the IL. He can't
spk_0
hit from the right side for like six weeks. Okay. This is switch hitter who's historically been
spk_0
much better left handed. He can't hit from the right side for six weeks. Eventually he comes back.
spk_0
He's fantastic in September. And now for the first time in his career, he hits two homers in a game
spk_0
right handed. And he does it against Derek Scoobal. He crushes a slider that Scoobal hangs over the
spk_0
plate, two oh in the fourth and then his seventh. He battles him for six seven pitches and just turns
spk_0
around 99 and and smashes it over the left field fence. And yeah, first battered to take Scoobal
spk_0
deep twice in the same game since Paul Goldschmidt in 2021, which is basically just like the first
spk_0
battered to take this Derek Scoobal game twice in the same game. Because Derek Scoobal in 2021 was a
spk_0
home run machine that do give up 35 tanks in 2021. He was not the same pitcher. And what a what a
spk_0
home for Polanco. It is it is so cool. And he's he's also such a huge part of why this has been one
spk_0
of the best offenses in baseball season is that he's been doing his part in the middle to the bottom
spk_0
of the lineup. March and April 1226, OPS May 413 OPS June 582. And then he goes 888 792 and 1015
spk_0
in September. Really a fascinating season for him. But it looks like his work is going to be
spk_0
undone all for not when in the eighth inning Matt Brash comes in Matt Brash in 2023 was one of the
spk_0
best relievers like we'd ever seen. He just pure dominance and not that many people notice because
spk_0
that mirrors team didn't make the playoffs and when it gets hurt comes back. And this year he's
spk_0
what like 93% of what he was. But that's seven percent is a big percent sometimes. He I believe
spk_0
he walked someone. Yeah. So he walks he walks Glaber which is obviously on him. But there's a man
spk_0
Glaber right. Glaber has that wild take on a slider that's like two balls off the edge. He walks
spk_0
strikes out Kerry Carpenter. And then you have just a brutal error from Josh Neller who just yeah.
spk_0
And I mean it's just a straight flop. I mean there's no no way around it as Riley Green just
spk_0
hits a grounder straight to him. And I think Neller was thinking okay can I turn this double play.
spk_0
Instead he just you know Miffsit and and now it's it's first and second with one out and Spencer
spk_0
Torfelsen coming up. And were you watching on the on the the do you have sound on for this for
spk_0
this have that because Pierre Zinsky and Adam Wayne right in the booth are just like so you're
spk_0
just gonna throw him sliders right like you're just gonna only throw him sliders because clearly
spk_0
that's all you need to do and Spencer Torfelsen is going to swing. And that's what the first four
spk_0
pitches was you execute the slider perfectly. It's almost perfectly four times. He gets it to two
spk_0
strikes. And then he tries to to sneak a fastball by him for whatever reason. And torque was late
spk_0
on it I guess but not late enough because he he rips a double down the right field line to tie the
spk_0
game. And that's when it just felt like all right well of course you know. And by the way that's
spk_0
also the difference between Matt Brash a year or two years ago in Mampers. Now is that that pitches 97
spk_0
and not 99. You know he did that that fastball just doesn't have quite as much giddy up in the same
spk_0
way. Torfelsen who's been looking for that big hit for weeks. I mean this is a guy that has come
spk_0
up short and huge spots over and over and over and over as the Tigers have you know collapsed
spk_0
and then even in the postseason he's he's come up short and some big spots. But what a moment
spk_0
for Torf and that felt like all right well all right these Tigers man they're they're just going
spk_0
to do it like they're going to do it the Mariners just can't find a way. And then immediately after
spk_0
Brash gets out of the inning. Call and Julio respond with consecutive doubles against Kyle Finnegan
spk_0
to retake the lead. What a what a moment for both of those guys for for them to show up
spk_0
against Finnegan who they had seen in the exact same scenario the night earlier they had seen
spk_0
that splitter. Kyle destroys one I think it was 111 exit velocity on that one and Julio of course
spk_0
ropes the go ahead double. Muno slams the door. Munoz has retired all nine hitters he's face now
spk_0
in over these first couple games and the Mariners claim a close three to two victory as the series
spk_0
shifts to Detroit where I will be this week. Oh excited for you. I want to talk about cry guy.
spk_0
Oh tell me about it. So during the like in the aftermath of the Julio
spk_0
RBI knock the camera pans to somebody in the crowd. Mariners fan crying then receives a hug from
spk_0
the person standing next to him this understandably goes you know viral on the internet a little bit and
spk_0
you know it people are are always like man this is so soft the Mariners this is like yeah
spk_0
the world series man like like Astro's fans like could you believe this like here's
spk_0
what if you see this video and you see like and you think like oh this is something to make fun of
spk_0
I feel bad for you you know what I see when I see this Jordan I see the rise and fall of Felix
spk_0
Fernandez I see Jack Syrenzig I see Dustin Ackley right I I see each hero getting traded to the
spk_0
Yankees I see the 18 in game against the Astros I see bad defenses in long nights and you know
spk_0
money and time spent on a team that continually disappointed you I see you know scrolling through
spk_0
lookout landing I see you know just caring about something that doesn't love you back right and
spk_0
in this moment this is this beautiful catharsis of this this is emotional release and if
spk_0
if we're we as a society not to make it bigger than it is but I'm going to if we as a society of
spk_0
fans feel able to get angry and riled up when things don't go well right then we should be able to
spk_0
experience the unbridled joy when things do go well and I know this is just one person in one moment
spk_0
but like I got emotional seeing that person get emotional because if this means nothing then like
spk_0
what the hell are we all doing obviously it's just sports right and it is not the real world but
spk_0
if it makes you feel then it is and so I this morning am so genuinely happy for this person
spk_0
and for all the Mariners fans who have endured and been forced to watch substandard baseball that did not
spk_0
pay their emotions in their commitment back and so Hazah Hazah for crying yes and I think the
spk_0
now we we here we'll we'll do a bit of a mirror situation here because it is very interesting
spk_0
when you think about how Mariners fans feel coming off of that win they send them off to Detroit right
spk_0
happy flight as as the players like to say and they do not know when they will see them again right
spk_0
maybe they will maybe they won't maybe it will be if they don't that's obviously
spk_0
incredibly disappointing if they do that or you know they could win the series in Detroit and then go
spk_0
into Toronto and or go yanky whatever there's a lot of different circumstances they don't know
spk_0
when they're going to see them again and I mentioned that sentiment as we think about the tigers
spk_0
and we've mentioned this before the series right but think about how the tigers fans felt as they
spk_0
got swept by the Atlanta Braves two weeks ago at home to conclude their home schedule in the regular
spk_0
season on an L7 or last one coming on September 6 September 6 September 6
spk_0
the 10th of the gets the white socks was their last home victory swept by Cleveland sweat by Atlanta
spk_0
and when the tigers left not only were the players feeling this but the fans were thinking like
spk_0
when am I going to see you again will I see you again what are we going to be feeling
spk_0
when I see at that point at that point they could have still won the division and hosted you know
spk_0
in the first round the wildcard that could have been possible they could have bought hosting the DS
spk_0
they could have gone the buy right there were so many possibilities in front of the the tigers
spk_0
fan by Stanley Tigers players and now after two weeks on the road Derek scubaal admitting that he
spk_0
ran out of socks and underwear relatable king uh they're home and they might not feel great about
spk_0
game two but they did win a game in Seattle which was of course the goal they have recaptured
spk_0
home-filled advantage where it is now best of three and they have two games at home and I am very
spk_0
excited to see how Camarica Park uh Camarica Park responds when I am there on Tuesday uh Turk
spk_0
scubaal my man I know you haven't gotten paid the big bucks yet now you haven't gotten that an
spk_0
extension or a free agent contract um I think you are liquid enough financially to a forward hotel
spk_0
laundry I would just throw some of those in a bag like look are is hotel laundry a bad investment
spk_0
financially yes like it is not worth it or just walk to the laundry mat in Seattle or yeah I don't
spk_0
think this is a matter of financial constraints I think this is more of a a timing you know time
spk_0
management all of the thing is he said he did do laundry he said that uh he said that or at
spk_0
the least I think the club he's did it for him um but I I did see that report I believe from
spk_0
from Cody Stavin Hagen but I've been on the road for a month for a week now and you know I'm
spk_0
I ran low and you know I I did what needed to be done I got done and I also like there should be
spk_0
someone on the Tigers whose whole job is to just do Derek scubaal's laundry respectfully you know what I mean
spk_0
well if they can miraculously manage to extend it maybe that will be part of his uh next long
spk_0
term deal anyway we will have Logan Gilbert against Jack Flarety in game three which will be on
spk_0
Tuesday afternoon forecast not looking great I could see that uh start getting pushed back but we
spk_0
will see how that goes and then yeah I mean it's a huge deal for Seattle because game four might be
spk_0
Bryce Miller maybe a bullpen game I don't know they haven't announced that yet the Tigers we know
spk_0
will be Casey Meyers in game four so I'm very excited to head up to Detroit and watch those
spk_0
games of course we will see how that goes all right we're gonna take a break when we return
spk_0
there's a whole other league we gotta talk about oh my goodness all right we're right back on
spk_0
back to baseball barbacast I'm currently in Philadelphia Pennsylvania a city that if you ask
spk_0
its residents has no sports teams in it on this Monday morning of doom and gloom the defending
spk_0
super ball champion Philadelphia Eagles bungled a very bizarre game yesterday to the Denver Broncos
spk_0
at home for their first loss of the season and of course the Phillies coughed up an embarrassing
spk_0
lead of their own on Saturday evening against the Dodgers and when you walk around Philadelphia
spk_0
this time you see a lot of um see a lot of sports shirts um this was the case Jordan I'm sure in
spk_0
Pittsburgh there are certain cities that just like wear sports stuff more than others and Philadelphia
spk_0
is they love sports shirts this morning when I walked around center city get a coffee I saw a
spk_0
decidedly fewer sports shirts than I did a couple of days ago when I first got here and that is
spk_0
because the vibes around town are not great the Los Angeles Dodgers took game one of the National
spk_0
League division world series by the score of five to three I was at this one I'll recap it
spk_0
quickly show Hayotani's playoff pitching debut the man who has done it all lived it all accomplished
spk_0
yet another first he surrenders a three spot in the second inning kind of surprising there's a
spk_0
walk to Alec Bome which is how all great memories start Brandon Marsh single up the middle GT
spk_0
Real Muto cranks a middle middle fastball in the backside gap for a triple score scores two runs
spk_0
comes around and scores on a Harrison Vader sack fly and the Phillies go three zero and Sanchez
spk_0
kind of cruising through the middle innings but Tani gets to start back on the rails Sanchez runs
spk_0
into trouble in the sixth inning where he allows two runs on a key K Hernandez doubled on the line
spk_0
Rob Thompson Philly Skipper goes out yanks him bullpen David Robertson gets out of that inning he
spk_0
returns to start the seventh and that's where things get ugly Robertson allows to base runners
spk_0
in comes back strong he retires Otani and retires bets two down leaves a fastball middle up elevated
spk_0
to Teosker Hernandez who gets his arms extended and hits one deep gone and in the seats for a three
spk_0
run go ahead blast the Dodgers then get creative with their pitching bringing in Tyler Glass now for
spk_0
the seventh glass they'll get two outs in the eighth Alex Vesia comes in the only actual honest
spk_0
to God reliever who pitched in this game for the Dodgers he gets one out in the eighth and then
spk_0
Brokeys Sasaki comes in and gets the ninth Dodgers win five to three
spk_0
Yeah this was uh this was a stunner um seemed like a hell of a game I was not watching this super
spk_0
closely but just watching back and and kind of processing this box score I mean there's some pretty
spk_0
big takeaways right I think for the Dodgers to to pull out a game where Otani and Betts go oh
spk_0
for nine at the plate um Freeman doesn't do a ton you know Teo is looking overwhelmed against
spk_0
Sanchez and then pulls up that big swing against Strom and you know while the pitchers listen
spk_0
Otani's a damn good pitcher glass now damn good pitcher Vesia right I know that was one
spk_0
batter against Edmundo Sosa but it's hard not to just look at the Phillies again and be like well
spk_0
that's not it's not a lot of offense you know you had that that one inning against Otani
spk_0
and other than that it just it just wasn't much now that's credit to the town of the Dodgers
spk_0
pitchers because yeah Otani holy crap as bad as he looked offensively in this game he seemed to
spk_0
get better as as the game went on of the mound and then wow the fact that we've got
spk_0
Rokeys Sasaki now as this late inning weapon was something that we saw at the end of the regular
spk_0
season but for them to just throw him right in there and say hey dude go get this saved because
spk_0
we literally trust none of our relievers we've been going to all season is both exciting about
spk_0
what Rokeys could be for the rest of this month and also like wow how are they going to get through
spk_0
this month if they trust so few of their pitchers um I don't this what I'm going to say sounds like
spk_0
really really silly if that's a if I may um yeah please Otani was throwing so many fastballs
spk_0
down the middle of a plate and yes they were at a hundred miles an hour and yes there are seven
spk_0
secondary pitches or whatever the hell that you need to keep an eye on as well I understand
spk_0
I'm not saying just hit the ball right but he was piping a lot of heat right down the middle
spk_0
I mean that's why real Muto real Muto swing is really smart because he didn't try and do too much
spk_0
hell yeah and he just you know took it the other way but rice Harper got a bunch of
spk_0
the heaters down the down the down Broadway did not do a lot with it now yes they were all like
spk_0
a hundred point two I understand but this was a bad offensive showing from the Phillies
spk_0
um the way that the Dodgers used their bull pen was very compelling
spk_0
Tyler Glass now who is probably going to start game four if there is one using him in relief he looked
spk_0
good Rocky Sasaki um looked good in the ninth I thought it was interesting that gave Roberts he
spk_0
was a little hesitant it felt like to use Alex Vesia he let Glass now face Harper and Shorber in
spk_0
the a-thinning instead of bringing in Vesia which is maybe instructive moving forward of how
spk_0
Roberts is going to operate but I mean really I'll just quickly from the Phillies side of
spk_0
things this is just a deja vu all over again right now it was a little bit different than some of
spk_0
the other anemic postseason offensive performances because this was not them chasing outside the zone
spk_0
right against Arizona in 23 and the mess last year it was just you know whiffing at things in the
spk_0
other batters but this was being unable to square up balls that were in the strike zone how important
spk_0
is that difference I don't know um but it puts them in the hole entering game two tonight which
spk_0
is going to be a Hazus Lazardo for the Phillies against Blake Snell for the Dodgers yeah and I'm
spk_0
curious still what this is going to be true in every Dodgers game just what is what is the road map
spk_0
to 27 outs I'm super cute I keep mentioning his name but I'm really curious where where Emma
spk_0
she and fits into this puzzle is that someone that they would expect to to maybe if they're just
spk_0
not going to go to any of their regular relievers are they going to ask she and to go a couple innings
spk_0
they got this off day because of just you know the nature the random nature of the scheduling where
spk_0
this year the DS and the national league side gets that extra off day so is Roki going to be ready to
spk_0
roll again in this game we'll see but it's a it's a huge opportunity I mean this is a really fun
spk_0
pitching matchup it isn't just because of how talented these pitchers are and they're you know both
spk_0
really good lefties but also as new characters for these two teams right you know we've we've seen
spk_0
a lot of these players on both sides performing the postseason for them on multiple occasions but
spk_0
this is an opportunity for for both of these left handers to kind of show their fan bases like oh
spk_0
yeah this is why we got you for for this game really you know and it's not this is game is not
spk_0
a selective determine everything but you know certainly for the Phillies at home and how that game
spk_0
unfolded in game one you really you're really going to need some some big time stuff from Lazardo
spk_0
there a funny moment or notable moment in before the game that I wanted your take on
spk_0
so they do the full rosters right they announce the full rosters for the home team which included
spk_0
Zach Wheeler who got an awesome round of applause not in the roster included Garrett Stubbs
spk_0
big round of applause not in the roster however Jordan Romano who's not in the roster and has been
spk_0
around all year did not get introduced because I think they were afraid he get booed
spk_0
what oh no that's I'm pretty sure that's I mean that has to be why right I mean he's around he's like
spk_0
a right right no I know that's very weird did not get introduced did they did they exclude others
spk_0
and it was more about that they wanted to introduce Stubbs and Wheeler maybe I mean maybe like
spk_0
I wasn't watching Jordan Romano made 49 appearances this year no I know usually when you're doing
spk_0
your first game of the postseason you basically introduce everyone that like played for you if
spk_0
they're still around that's that's very common so you would think he would have been introduced
spk_0
and mate yeah I don't know that's that seems that's unfortunate that is definitely
spk_0
unfortunate but it felt like an outlier is all I'm saying it's like I usually that's fair
spk_0
pretty funny um also notable Harrison Bader left this game with an injury it seems like he's
spk_0
gonna be okay to go tonight now which is important it'll be interesting to see how the
spk_0
fillies arrange their outfield but I think it'll probably be Cassianos and Wright Bader and
spk_0
Center and Martian left with the left-handed snow on the mound they'll go with Cassianos who
spk_0
did not start in game one he had just two just terrible at bats um after Bader left I mean not
spk_0
really surprised he's been like the worst player baseball this year um but yeah man I mean I
spk_0
you could feel the sky falling here in Philadelphia I'll just put it like that all righty well we
spk_0
will see where this series goes from here all right there is another series if you're a cubs if
spk_0
you're a bruise fan we've given you a lot of love this season right please show it you earned it
spk_0
we apologize uh the reality is this is this is the Rust Dorsey bowl and Rust Dorsey is not here
spk_0
for us to to give us the recap and the other thing is the game's stunk and that's a credit to you
spk_0
the bruise came out they allow lean-off home run to Michael Bush and the first inning
spk_0
to Matthew Bush yes sorry I apologize Matthew Matthew hey very quickly and then do you think
spk_0
that when Carl ravage messed that up he was thinking about former rangers pitcher Matt Bush
spk_0
I had that I know I did not mention that after we record that episode I was like oh I should have
spk_0
made a Matt Bush reference um so Michael Bush goes yard but then uh sorry Matthew Bush goes yard
spk_0
but then Michael Boyd has a tough one for the cubs as the brewers score six runs in the first inning
spk_0
we have some rare Chicago defensive flubs which does not happen often uh a error from Niko Horner
spk_0
which if you're getting an error from Niko Horner you know things are not going your way
spk_0
and from there the the brewers just crews and it was kind of a funny final box score where you had
spk_0
the cubs hit three solo homers it's like look at us we can barrel the ball brewers uh have zero
spk_0
homers but of course score nine runs on 13 hits and they were in control Freddie Peralta was good
spk_0
and they did not have to sweat this one very much so brewers taking care of business once again
spk_0
kind of just holding serve credit to them like brewers fans should be feeling awesome um
spk_0
but we only have this one game to talk about and so that's why we're going short on it
spk_0
and now we have game two where it's uh show to him anaga against Aaron Ashby who will be presumably
spk_0
opening Aaron Ashby through an inning and a third in game one Aaron Ashby is getting good for
spk_0
lever uh I would certainly hope that it is our man Quinn Priester we're by sir we don't know we will
spk_0
see how this goes um Pat Murphy maybe he has something else uh obviously but it sure seems like
spk_0
it would be Quinn Priester and yeah I mean cubs got a cubs got a get back in it imananga who
spk_0
was open for in the last round and that didn't go super great he's gonna have to show up and
spk_0
and give the cubs a big start and they're just gonna yeah not give up six runs in the first inning
spk_0
that's gonna kind of be the bar to clear but he comes to feel good uh getting this series back to
spk_0
Chicago but listen brewers like they were chilling in this one it was I mean similar to Toronto but
spk_0
they've only done it once instead of twice so far but good for them to come out and be like yes no
spk_0
we're we were the best team baseball is here and we're gonna act like it and the cubs have to
spk_0
have to kind of figure it out if they want to make this interesting it really was a perfect encapsulation
spk_0
of the way that these two teams operate right three solo homers for the cubs three runs brewers don't
spk_0
hit a single homer score nine like there you go great that's it that's all you're safe lance brustowski
spk_0
who cares about my barrel rate yeah barrel this say hello to my these are my I'm holding
spk_0
my fists for those of you looking and listening on on on audio say hello to my best friends Caleb
spk_0
and Durbin yes Durbin with the with the two RV eyes look at look at our man Caleb Durbin driving
spk_0
and runs in the amazing season what a world what a thing so happy for him anyway uh yes so Bruce
spk_0
feeling good we will see how they come out in game two again you can read rust orcs these words
