Speaker A The Fantasy Footballer studio is sponsored by Walmart. Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright. Welcome in. Oh, man. Andy's in a good, good place. Oh, man, it feels good to not be the one melting down.
Speaker B I hate the Cardinals so much.
Speaker A I, I legitimately, I have been wrestling with this and I haven't. We didn't talk about this before the show. I figured this is a good.
Speaker B Because you arrived in Arizona at three in the morning.
Speaker A That is true. I was in New York.
Speaker B I thought I was going to be all alone and I have at least 120 minutes of cardinals material.
Speaker A Yeah, we knew Mike wasn't going to be here today. So it's a two man show.
Speaker B Lucky son of a gun.
Speaker A And I was flying in from New York. My plane kept getting delayed and delayed. And then you tarmac for two hours.
Speaker B For hours on the tarmac.
Speaker A Yeah. And so I'm like, okay, so I'm running off a little bit of sleep. But we're here. We're a two man show. But we didn't get a chance to really talk about it yet.
Speaker B This is why we do it live.
Speaker A Yes, we're doing it live. But I, I feel like. So some people will hear this and be just really upset triggered by this. But I think I'm at a point where I am legitimately.
Speaker B Oh, I know what you're going to say.
Speaker A I don't think I have to be a Cardinal fan.
Speaker B No, it's not.
Speaker A Look, I don't think. Why do I have to. Why do I have to say I am a fan of, of a terrible organization that I don't like the structure, I don't like the ownership, I don't like anything they've ever done. I am a fan of them because I live within 150 miles of that. You know what I mean? It's like, I don't deserve this. No one here deserves this.
Speaker B This was a public embarrassment of the franchise in a manner incomprehensible, over and over. It wasn't one thing. It wasn't two things. It wasn't three things. It wasn't four things. It was, I mean, all of the things.
Speaker A It was all of the things.
Speaker B It started with a snap into the face of Kyler Murray. That's where it all began. The Cardinals are up 21 to 3 and they're on the 25. Snap it right into your face. All right, Summary of the career of Kyler Murray.
Speaker A Oh, but on that play, by the way, on that play, when they snapped it to his face. That happens sometimes. You know, the center is. But the rest of the offensive line stands there straight up. I mean, like the right guard just. He's just standing like, oh, that sucked. And barely tried to push a guy out of the way while the other team gets the ball. It's like we're winning with zz that.
Speaker B Was three points minimum, probably seven. The Titans were packing up, ready to go home. Cardinals. That was the best. That was the highlight of the day for them because then you follow that up with.
Speaker A 21 to 6, we're in the lead. Fourth quarter.
Speaker B Amari D. Markado takes it 73, takes a 70. I think it was going to be a 76 yard touchdown. He took it to about the 60 of the 75 and just stops. He literally slowed down. Then that's when he slowed down. He had a. He had a gap between him and the defender and decides, I'm going to run slower. Which I never saw Jerry Rice do that or Larry Fitzgerald do that, or any professional athlete.
Speaker A I don't think anybody's confusing Mari D. Markado with those guys.
Speaker B This is the moment of your life. A 76 yard run.
Speaker A You've spent your entire career for the opportunity to get the kind of work you had. And this was your play of your life.
Speaker B And everybody's seen it now. And literally when he starts slowing down, I'm not worried about him being the dumbest person on the ball.
Speaker A No, you're worried about the defender coming in, knocking ball. The defender coming in and he tries and he barely. The defender almost reached the ball to knock it out.
Speaker B Goodbye seven points.
Speaker A Didn't need to. Let's buy. Why are NFL players paid professionally dropping the ball when they run to the end zone?
Speaker B If it were up to me, you should run until you hit your head on the goalposts every time with the ball in your hand. But don't worry, it's okay. You're still up 21 to 6 in the fourth quarter against the league's worst offense and the worst quarterback in the worst situation. They instantly run down the field and score seven points. Just two seconds later, they're down the field. It's fine though. They had missed the extra point. You're now down nine.
Speaker A We can't lose that game. It's embarrassing, but we're not in a position where we could actually lose. And our defense. We're going to. Yeah.
Speaker B Thank you.
Speaker A There you go. Let's continue.
Speaker B This is the sound effects that were happening on the next play when we give up. Like, first of all, our Offense does nothing. Our offense has no plans. You're up 100 points according to our offense. Run it with Michael Carter three times.
Speaker A You're idiot. You drafted a guy top five at wide receiver. You have the second highest paid tight end in the league and a great quarterback.
Speaker B So don't target them.
Speaker A Take your two backup running backs and hand the ball off, right?
Speaker B Oh, they're not backups. They're backups to the backups.
Speaker A They're backups to the backups. The backup got injured.
Speaker B But don't even stop there. Let's let them drive the field. But guess what? Let's make an. Let's intercept the ball.
Speaker A Oh, but when we got it, how about we kick it around a little bit? How about we drop and we just kick it into their end zone?
Speaker B Yeah, kick it around backwards into the end zone for an old man Tyler Lockett to recover it over your 75. Defend.
Speaker A Okay, we're still up, Andy.
Speaker B We got two points. All you got.
Speaker A We're still up.
Speaker B Couple first downs.
Speaker A Couple firsts. Let's give the ball to the stupid backup running back. Right up the line, over and over and over. It wasn't like the clock was the real problem here. Just get a first down.
Speaker B But you still only have to stop the worst team in the league.
Speaker A All you gotta do is not give up like a 60 yard play. That's it. Do a guy that was hurting who.
Speaker B Didn'T do anything all season long.
Speaker A Yeah. Just put one safety back there, man. You'll be fine.
Speaker B But don't worry, you could let Tony Pollard score on his run.
Speaker A Oh, yeah.
Speaker B Tackle him at the two so they.
Speaker A Could kick a field goal and you have no timeouts, man. Brilliant. Brilliant. They coach as well as the ownership allows. The Cardinals.
Speaker B Fire them all.
Speaker A Fire them all. I wish we could fire them all.
Speaker B And you know, people want to say, hey, Amari D. Markado, he played his whole life. He's a player. You don't deserve a job anymore. You can't do that.
Speaker A No, you. You can.
Speaker B This is a merit based business.
Speaker A Do the thing you're supposed to do.
Speaker B Or don't play football.
Speaker A When you are Amari D. Markado, you. You have not proved. You know, this isn't Derek Henry. This isn't like, okay, this is, you know, a guy that our team desperately needs. When you do something like that, it's like kickers, you lose your job.
Speaker B Yeah. Kicks them all the time.
Speaker A You should lose your job.
Speaker B Yeah. It's like a kicker turning around and kicking it backwards though. I mean, it's just Unacceptable. The Cardinals are. I am so embarrassed.
Speaker A But can I. Can I can. I will tell you why. Be a Cardinals fan.
Speaker B I mean, you could do whatever you want to do. I know what it feels like right now. The problem with that is that if by some reincarnation of Kurt Warner they are ever successful at doing anything, that will be the moment that you desperately wish you hadn't abandoned the team. That is the essence of sports.
Speaker A So I don't have any worries.
Speaker B Well, yeah.
Speaker A I mean, the nice thing is if I were to abandon the Cardinals, I would go from having them be my team to abhorring them. I would root against everything they do and stand for.
Speaker B I'm getting texts from Bears fans this morning saying, oh, there are. They're sorry for us.
Speaker A The empathy.
Speaker B They're empathetic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was the most embarrassing public spectacle.
Speaker A I'm always, like, proud of Browns fans. Like, Browns fans are amazing.
Speaker B See what I mean?
Speaker A Like, if they have been bad forever and they're still out there and they're still going out in cold weather games and they're still. I don't have that in me. I don't have, like, I don't have. I don't care about this.
Speaker B You got a busy life, Jay. You're in New York, you're jet setting. You don't got time for this crap.
Speaker A You don't got personally about a turd franchise. It's all.
Speaker B And you know what else people play to Mari Di Mercado.
Speaker A Oh, yeah. Eight point fantasy swing right there. Touchdown into a fumble.
Speaker B Yeah, well, more than that if you get a bonus for long touchdowns too.
Speaker A That's true.
Speaker B Which you and I are playing each other in fantasy. Just a little salt in the wound that Kyler Murray threw a 44 yard touchdown to Marvin Harrison.
Speaker A You're starting Kyler Murray against me and you're starting Marvin Harrison against me.
Speaker B Correct.
Speaker A Except he didn't throw a 44 yard.
Speaker B No, he got dragged down at the one and the Michael Carter ran it in. That was a 16 point swing in our league. And I'm up by like 12 points tonight.
Speaker A You're up by 12. I've got ETN and Travis Hunter. Yeah, I think I 60, 40 you.
Speaker B Much higher than that.
Speaker A No, much higher than that. Not against the Chiefs run defense.
Speaker B We've seen nothing.
Speaker A We've seen.
Speaker B What do you need, 11 points?
Speaker A We've seen. No, don't patronize me. Well, okay, I won't patronize you then. I will make fun of you for having Jacori Crosby Merritt on your bench. And Rico Dowdle on your bench. Oh, baby, you could have won so easy.
Speaker B Yeah. Yeah. That is adding to the mood. That is adding to the mood. Dowdle on the old bench. But don't worry, I started. Woody Marks my start of the week. Dumb sport.
Speaker A I traded him to you so that you could play.
Speaker B Dumb home team, dumb sport, dumb hobby.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B Also our career.
Speaker A Two weeks in a row. Two weeks in a row.
Speaker B You can walk away.
Speaker A Super fun.
Speaker B We can't walk away. We're supposed to be talking about.
Speaker A Yeah, we can get to it. We can get. We can get to some. Some puns. There's good and bad. We only feel the bad.
Speaker B Was there good?
Speaker A There was good. There was a lot of good.
Speaker B Well, don't tell that to Amari and Hampton owners. But we'll move on. We'll get into Monday punday. It's a little bit ironic that Mike's not here because this is the victory lap of all victory laps. Maybe he's good. Rico Suave.
Speaker A Rico Waddle.
Speaker B We got Amari dimarcad. Oh my gosh. You're a moron.
Speaker A Yeah, he is. We also have Emekabazooka.
Speaker B Oh, he's so good.
Speaker A He is my guy.
Speaker B Darnold Schwarzenegger, Javante Thrilliams.
Speaker A I think he's just legit.
Speaker B Another great time for Mike to brag his start of the week. CJ Proud.
Speaker A Uh huh. Darren Baller looking great.
Speaker B Michael starter.
Speaker A And Jonathan Taylor. Touchdowns against Andy baby.
Speaker B Yeah. That sucked. All right. Could have had four, by the way. Amir Abdullah got one of them.
Speaker A Oh, that's stupid.
Speaker B We had the bads like Woody Farts.
Speaker A Woody skid marks.
Speaker B Alec IO.
Speaker A Manure Jackson Short. A lot of people going on here, man.
Speaker B And I deserve this one. Lameson Williams and Sheamus and Williams.
Speaker A Well, for the poop, you got TP.
Speaker B Hawkinson and oh, here. I started this guy. Jabroni Myers.
Speaker A Zach hurts my team.
Speaker B You started him.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B And how about Travion Winderson?
Speaker A Yeah. Win. Are you gonna.
Speaker B Well, never.
Speaker A Maybe Gibson and of course the Arizona Fartnals.
Speaker B Yes, the Arizona Chartinels.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B And maybe we get a chance to Arizona restart at some point.
Speaker A Restart. Knowles being a fan of a different team.
Speaker B Yeah, I don't blame you.
Speaker A What if I go to like, another bad team?
Speaker B Well, don't, don't.
Speaker A Oh, like, does that make it better?
Speaker B It makes it wor. Now you're just like a distant fan of terrible. Like. No, don't choose the Browns or the Saints right now.
Speaker A What's the next geographically close? Would this be one of The Los.
Speaker B Angeles team, it used to be the Chargers. Right. But now they moved, so they're still.
Speaker A I would go to the Chargers. The Chargers would be my pick because they're losing enough off at the lineman now.
Speaker B Broncos, they just upset the Eagles.
Speaker A They're close. I love Bo Nix. Yeah, go to the Broncos. Maybe.
Speaker B So maybe that. What you're actually rooting for here, if you want an easy path, is the Cardinals have moved before. They were Chicago. They were St. Louis. You just need to get them out, try to get them out of town.
Speaker A I would love that. Because all Chargers fans. All Chargers fans were allowed contractually with.
Speaker B Oh, they were allowed to.
Speaker A They were allowed to switch. Yeah. You left the city. You can now go to find a new team. I need the Cardinals to move.
Speaker B I know the. I know the people wanted to hear our reaction. I don't really feel any better afterwards.
Speaker A Last week when I was melting down, it was cathartic. And I felt so much better after the show. After this show. The Cardinals still are the worst team to be fans of if.
Speaker B Look, people will say Kyler Murray is part of the problem, and he probably is. He is such a small part of what happened yesterday. Like, you saw him after the game. He said it was like the one on one of his losses of his career. He drew Petzing is the worst offensive coordinator, and he takes his cues from Jonathan Gannon.
Speaker A I think it. I think it has to start at the top man. I know. Petsing.
Speaker B What's the top Gannon, you're saying?
Speaker A I was referring to Gannon. I mean, it goes to bed.
Speaker B Well, Gannon in a cannon. Fire him into space.
Speaker A I like it. We've seen it all year long while we're playing bad teams. We've been up and then we have taken our foot off of the accelerator.
Speaker B No good teams do that.
Speaker A No.
Speaker B No good. The Lions don't do that.
Speaker A No, no, no. No one does that except the Cardinals. We're like, ah, let's. We won.
Speaker B We're up 21 to 13. Let's not try to keep scoring. All right? Yes. All right. We've got news.
Speaker A News and notes from around the league, presented by Progressive Insurance.
Speaker B Actually, I do feel a little bit better having talked to you about it for the first time.
Speaker A Okay.
Speaker B And to share the misery. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker A It was. It was. It was the most embarrassing loss. I'm so happy.
Speaker B It is the most embarrassing loss we've ever had.
Speaker A At the very end, I was rooting for us to lose because we deserved to not walk out of there with a W. You you deserve to walk out with your head held low.
Speaker B Everybody but them knew what was going to happen if you punted the ball back up to. All right. Xavier Worthy's now listed as questionable. He was a full practice all week. His ankle was a little swollen when he arrived in Jacksonville. He is technically questionable for tonight's game and that is a bummer because you were. You were an R and have been counting on him. He was my start of the week. It is if he doesn't go, obviously you have pivot options tonight that are probably on your waiver wire.
Speaker A Juju Taekwond Thornton A Thornton would be. Yeah, if Thornton is Hollywood.
Speaker B Brock Bowers took the week off. We we reported that had Sunday Live.
Speaker A You might take more than a week off the bone bruise Matthew Betts was talking about. If you play through it, it can affect his long term health. So they might give him a multi.
Speaker B Whatever it takes to be Brock Bowers again. And by the way, I did get an update just now from Ian Rap Sheet himself. Rapoport himself. Worthy is expected to play. Okay. Buck Irving dealing. This was reported yesterday. I talked about it on Sunday Live as well. He's dealing with a shoulder injury. So a lot of people he was in. He was in a boot and on crutches and yet it was reported yesterday that the shoulder injury was more severe and more of a reason why he's missing time.
Speaker A Yeah, I mean they're expected him. They're expecting him to miss at least two weeks.
Speaker B So more Rashad White Jordan Addison was benched in the first quarter of the game for missing a walkthrough during the week. Justin Jefferson talked about it after the game. Addison ended up with the game winning touchdown. Kyler Murray actually left the game with a foot injury. Came back in after the demarcato play which Brissette had handed the ball off on that one because he had to. Because he had to come back in to hand it off. Two third and fourth string running backs to lose the game.
Speaker A Right.
Speaker B Because Brissette couldn't have done that.
Speaker A And then when asked for details on the injury, all he said is we'll see. He's trying to cope with whether he wants to play for the Cardinals.
Speaker B I own so many Cardinals hats.
Speaker A You do. You're wearing one right now.
Speaker B Yeah, this is the one I picked out today because I see why I just felt like it was saying that.
Speaker A Must be like a nickelodeon.
Speaker B Yeah, it's like. But to me it's like it's slimed. The Cardinals got slimed this weekend no.
Speaker A That'S a good hat.
Speaker B Yeah. For a bad team.
Speaker A Burnett.
Speaker B Burnett. All Omari and Hampton. This was big news. Walking boot on the left ankle. He was like, I watched this game at the end. Kamani Vidal so soon ended up getting the carries after he went out. He was running on the sideline, trying to do that warm up stuff on the sideline. You know, hopefully that means it's not going to be a long time. But if it's a high ankle sprain, we know the story. Right. You either miss nothing or generally three games.
Speaker A Yep. And they, they really could have used him at the end of that game.
Speaker B Yeah. Carson.
Speaker A Oh, goodness gracious. Their offensive line, like they're not scoring a lot of points. The Chargers are not scoring a lot of points since they've lost three fifths of their offensive line.
Speaker B No, no. And all of the. I have a start of the rest of the year. Justin Herbert.
Speaker A No, he's, he's a. I mean that was me. He's a. He's a flex option or a, you know, he's a, a streaming option. You need to look at who else you have.
Speaker B We had Antonio Gibson left with a knee injury. The Patriots lost. Well, Ramon Dre fumbled again. Then Antonio Gibson hurt himself and then Ramon Dre scored twice.
Speaker A Yeah, they like Ramondre Stevenson. It doesn't matter.
Speaker B Simple statement. The most true statement for fantasy football.
Speaker A It doesn't matter if you like Ramon Dre Stevenson.
Speaker B Right.
Speaker A It really doesn't.
Speaker B No.
Speaker A The Patriots like Ramon Dre Stevenson. They think he is important. They went into Buffalo. They won the game.
Speaker B They won the game. And this is the biggest disconnected fantasy football in the NFL this entire season is Travion Henderson. The NFL is the. That's who has to believe that he's a three down running back. That's who has to believe that he can handle between the tackles, work and pass protection. They have to believe it. It doesn't matter if we believe it. It doesn't matter if he runs really fast. I remember CJ Spiller used to run really fast. Reggie Bush can run really fast. But if the NFL decides that Travion Anderson is not. Is a committee back and that's just what he's going to be. You're going to just be mad the rest of your life if you don't accept that.
Speaker A Yeah, I think the Spiller comp is a little weird. Don't forget he was the running back seven on one of these seasons. He had an awesome breakout year. But yes, I agree.
Speaker B CJ Spiller was the quintessential every year you were met.
Speaker A Yes, except for the one where he finishes the running back 7. But yes, most of his career he was irrelevant and very fast. But that's a, that's a. That's an unnecessary throwback to C.J. spiller.
Speaker B Well, look, it's. It is what it is. It could be a major injury for Antonio Gibson, though. The snaps are 50. 50.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B I mean, he's going to get more work.
Speaker A Henderson will get more work.
Speaker B He won't get all of it right.
Speaker A And he does not appear to be like the primary between the tackles Runner that will be Ramon Dre. Ramondre will get better, not just Henderson.
Speaker B Yeah, that's a good point. Darius Slayton left with a hamstring injury, didn't return. It's a Thursday night game against the Eagles. Wanda Robinson didn't work out. Slayton didn't work out. There were big pickups on the week and the Giants didn't work out. They lost to the Saints. That was news and notes sponsored by Progressive Insurance. Quote, Today at progressive.com, progressive Casualty Insurance Company affiliates and third party insurers not available in all states or situations. Coverage subject to policy terms, limits and conditions. Take a break. We'll talk studs. All right, let's get in.
Speaker A This week's fantasy stud muffins presented by Lowe's.
Speaker B Well, this was a great call by the cardboard bear over there. The number one quarterback on the week was C.J. stroud.
Speaker A Four touchdowns.
Speaker B You and I had a hotly contested.
Speaker A Oh, I took an L on that one.
Speaker B Houston, Baltimore. You bet me. Okay. I don't know whether I should tell. Sure. You bet me $100 on the show.
Speaker A Okay.
Speaker B We didn't make the bet. I think. Did we make the bet?
Speaker A I don't think we made the bet.
Speaker B I don't think we made the bet. You had said, hey, I'll bet you $100 right now. Big, big bet. Because I didn't make the bet. You went and threw more of your money down on this.
Speaker A I did make the bet that Baltimore in Baltimore being the underdogs felt wild. But. And to both your and Mike's credit, you thought I was crazy with all the injuries.
Speaker B Stroud was number one. It's wild. Mike made him a start of the week. He hasn't been in the start of the weeks for forever. Yeah, and they got boat raced.
Speaker A Number one quarterback. Yeah. I mean, Baltimore is in trouble.
Speaker B They are in real trouble. That defense, I talked about it on Sunday live. They have like major pieces missing on the defensive side that Already wasn't good. Dak was number two. Dak just needed CD to get out of the way to put up big numbers for you.
Speaker A Can't wait for CD Lamb to be back. I can't wait.
Speaker B Coming soon.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield battled one another and ended up 3, 4 in the fantasy scores of the week. It was an amazing game in the throwback jerseys that are amazing. And those two guys went back and forth. Baker narrowly beating Sam Darnold and then Justin Fields insanely finished number five.
Speaker A Yeah, because he.
Speaker B I thought I botched that start of the week again with Justin Fields.
Speaker A Is it because he looked terrible as a quarterback?
Speaker B It was because he is so dumb as a quarterback sometimes. Him and Geno Smith this week, they were so bad. And yet the garbage man can. Because you had Justin fields. He had 46% of his points in the fourth quarter. Did you see Mason Taylor 12 targets, nine catches. I'll put that kitty cat in my tight end spot.
Speaker A I will too. I've been saying it with Mike that that is. He does not have the dog. You don't have to have. Not everybody has to have the dog.
Speaker B To be dog, cat, gerbil, I don't care. Give me nine catch. I could live with it. Mike's ultimate day and he's not here. Rico Dowdle, number one on the week on my bench.
Speaker A Against you.
Speaker B Against you.
Speaker A Thank you for that.
Speaker B Rico was unstoppable. 26 for 206. He had multiple 45, 50 yard runs.
Speaker A I mean this was a game where you saw Miami get some of the offense going that we've been waiting for. Three touchdowns from Tua. And they lost the game, dude. And they lost the game because Rico.
Speaker B Rico. Rico is playing Dallas next week. Rico Rico is going to. I mean, he's already got. He's come out and said they got a buckle up. They know. I mean he played so well. He played so well and so you had. I mean he was an amazing star. Jonathan Taylor, number two. Kyron, number three. Javante, number four. Let's grab another top five player on my bench. Corey Crosky. Merritt, I give you a lot of credit on this one. He split so much time with Chris Rodriguez last week that the people were scared to start him. He had missed all of the week of practice the week before. This was the breakout game. It really was.
Speaker A This is what you were waiting for.
Speaker B This was a dominant performance from. From Bill.
Speaker A Bill.
Speaker B Bill Crosky.
Speaker A Bill Crosby. Oh, that son of a gun. He eats Chick Fil a on Sunday.
Speaker B Yeah. Yeah, he did. He ate it all day long, two touchdowns, caught the ball, chunk play after chunk play. It was an impressive. Like it's a, it's a tier adjustment. Yeah, for sure for jcm. He is now a start worthy player every week. And the team, they came back from a deficit in which they. I think there was one completion by Jayden Daniels with eight minutes left in the second quarter. They end up really blowing out the Chargers in a game they were down 10 nothing. So impressive. Javante, so impressive. Keeps doing it.
Speaker A Yeah, he keeps doing it every single week. I mean, the matchups have been pretty good for him on the ground, but I mean, he's got Carolina coming up and he looks, he looks outstanding. The workload is there. I mean the opportunities. 18 opportunities this week, 23 opportunities the week before. He's had 18 and 25 before that. I mean, he is. The utilization for fantasy football, the expected fantasy points. It's what you dream of.
Speaker B And they, I mean, it's a good offense. They're playing great on the offensive side.
Speaker A Dak, Dak, is Dax cooking? He's so good.
Speaker B CMC Rashad White. Oh, my gosh, I can't believe David Montgomery throwing a touchdown is going to be the difference between you beating me or not. But it is. Jameer Gibbs got into the end zone again. Saquon caught the big touchdown pass, but.
Speaker A Only six rushing attempts.
Speaker B Well, look, we were Sunday live. I was talking to Al and I said, I, I know the matchup is bad, but I bet they throw the ball a ton because of all this hoopla. And you know what?
Speaker A They got their first loss.
Speaker B You got what you wanted and you lost the game. And then did you see the Hail Mary with Devontae Smith and A.J. brown?
Speaker A Yeah, I did.
Speaker B Yeah. Yeah. A.J. brown was like, give me that. And it just took it right out of Devonte Smith's hands.
Speaker A Did you see the A.J. brown bomb? That would have been a touchdown, but he just kind of stopped running on the route.
Speaker B No, there was an effort play though.
Speaker A I saw he had a play. He was even asked about it afterwards. Like, why did you slow up on that play? Because he has this long developing route, ends up beating his guy, and then as soon as he beats the guy, he kind of slows down. It seemed like he just assumed the ball wasn't going to come. Looks over his shoulder, the ball's coming, he speeds up and the ball's just about a yard ahead of him overthrown. And it's like, dude, that would have been, I mean, that would you Would have already lost.
Speaker B Yep. Michael Carter 18 for 51 and a touchdown. Five targets for 22 yards. The breakdown was 18 carries for him, three for DeMarcusato, four for Bam Knight, who did score. We mentioned him on Sunday Live. Michael Carter was the play.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B I don't know why.
Speaker A Michael starter.
Speaker B Yeah, there's so much like, I don't know, like, strange anger out there about like saying Michael Carter was going to start instead of D. Markato.
Speaker A Well, it was, it was, it was the right call, you know, and it.
Speaker B Will continue to be.
Speaker A Oh, yeah. I mean, they're not giving D. Markado more work.
Speaker B I mean, there's a Jonathan Gannon on that team anymore.
Speaker A Jonathan Gannon screamed. And Jonathan Gannon is not the most fiery type. He's not the most disciplinary, like, yell at his guys type that.
Speaker B No, he mostly looks like he doesn't give a crap.
Speaker A Yeah, he was not happy with D. Markat. I think he might have punched him.
Speaker B I think he might have punched Amari D. Markata. There's some video.
Speaker A Yeah. So anyways, Michael Carter will be the starter going forward until, I mean, Trey Benson's on iron and Carter's going to get a lot of the snaps.
Speaker B This was a strange game. Breeze hall against Dallas. He was great. He's 14 for 113. Mind you, this is the same Dallas that will get Rico Dowdle next week. Had five targets, had a fumble, lost, left, seemingly hurt, but came back. He's averaging 5.3 a carry on the season.
Speaker A He looks. He looks like he's got his burst back, which is great. And the big fear of Justin Fields being the quarterback, not checking the ball down. He's getting enough targets. I mean, he's a pretty great play every week.
Speaker B Yeah, I watch. I watch that game. The targets are always coming at the same time. It is the time of game in which they are losing by a bunch, which is every week.
Speaker A That's fine for me.
Speaker B J.K. dobbins got it done again. Another touchdown for Dobbins. 13, 15, 12, 19, 14. That is what he's been at the running back position.
Speaker A The fantasy, the running back finish.
Speaker B Yeah, He's a guaranteed RB2 every week right now. Ramondre. Two touchdowns on 14 rushing yards. Yeah, we talked about him.
Speaker A Got the win.
Speaker B All right. This. This will make me smile.
Speaker A Yay.
Speaker B Ameca Buk is the number one wide.
Speaker A Receiver on the week, number three on the season.
Speaker B I mean, this is 27.8 points. He is the only player with 25 plus receptions, 400 plus receiving yards and five plus receiving touchdowns in his first five career games ever. And he's the third highest fantasy points through five weeks ever. This is just. It's unbelievable how well he's playing with Baker. And, like, if you had to. If you had to place the bet that he finishes in the top five, would you make that bet?
Speaker A I don't think I would make that bet. Simply because you got five touchdowns in the first five games.
Speaker B Sure.
Speaker A And so I would imagine at the end of the year, let's say he finishes with 10 touchdowns, a great number for a rookie. That would be five touchdowns over the rest of the season. You just don't expect that pace to happen. But if you told me top 10, I'd be. I mean, I'd be almost surprised at this point if he doesn't finish top 10. He looks the part. I mean, he was, you know, one of my favorite prospects coming out, and, man, he is. He's dominating. And the connection with Baker, I mean, we. You know, when I was making the case for him earlier this season, we brought up Baker's quotes on the off season. Unsolicited quotes, talking about, like, what are you excited about for the Buccaneers this year? And he's just like a Maca buca. This kid is legit. He's real. He's, you know, now the quotes are just talking about how, like, he's just got it all figured out as a man.
Speaker B Like, as a one on one, one of one. Yeah. No, and you listen to his interviews. He's a different dude. He's. He's awesome. Jamar Chase was number two on the week.
Speaker A That was a little stinky.
Speaker B No. Two touchdowns.
Speaker A No, I. No, no, no, no, no. I know, but it was. If you want to talk, garbage time, I mean, they're getting blown out. It was late. Both touchdowns were a little late. I mean, they're. They're coming back.
Speaker B They're both second half.
Speaker A Jamar Chase is. I will say this.
Speaker B Look, this is why you play Jamar Chase every week.
Speaker A Yes. Halfway through the third quarter, you were like, I can't play Jamar Chase.
Speaker B No, I get it. Jsn, welcome back to the top five. He's a machine. Jalen Waddle. This was awesome to see.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B Jalen Waddle. When. When there's no Tyreek heavily involved. If you played Waddle, if you played Waller, which, by the way, I could not get those names straight on Sunday morning, I'll can attest to that. No matter what I was saying, I'd say the opposite name.
Speaker A Jalen.
Speaker B Yeah, but it was great. To see he also instantaneously limped off the field. I mean, it's. He caught. He caught a pass. That was a normal pass, right, Al?
Speaker A Oh, yeah.
Speaker B Nothing happened. Yep. Nothing happened at all. It's like he's got sensitive skin. I don't know what it is.
Speaker A This is the guy made the comment his two trainers were helping him off the field. Waddle and his two best friends. Yeah, Yeah. I mean, this is how I know he listens to the show because he's in on the bit now.
Speaker B Yeah, he's got to be. He came right back and was fine. And Debo, Debo once again in the top five. 19.6 points.
Speaker A That touchdown made me so unhappy.
Speaker B Oh.
Speaker A I mean, it's against me.
Speaker B Yeah. And that was my only shot.
Speaker A It's the weirdest touchdown because it's kind of. It was like a garbage time touchdown, but you don't usually have garbage time touchdowns from the lead. It was like.
Speaker B No, the Cardinals would never.
Speaker A No, it was like they were like, you know, we got to throw it around. I'll wait and take as much clock as I can and then throw it to the back. And it was just. There's their garbage time. Winning touchdowns.
Speaker B And Stefan Diggs also had 19.6 points along with Jibo. And Diggs was a machine.
Speaker A You have brought up last week. You brought up Diggs about the fact that, you know, he was off to a slow start but getting more and more involved. The fact, you know, last week he was 63% of the snaps. He was up to seven targets, had 100 yards. He was starting to get finally used down the field. And then lo and behold, I know this was revenge game coming back to Buffalo and hold on a second.
Speaker B I just got the worst trade off I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker A Oh, please tell me it's from someone in this room.
Speaker B It's from. It's from Papa Josh.
Speaker A Of course it's from Papa Josh.
Speaker B Let me ask you, Jason, are you interested in Tori Horton in a six round pick for Jacori Krosky? Merritt?
Speaker A Are you kidding me?
Speaker B Because that's what I've been offered you.
Speaker A No, they did not.
Speaker B Tori Horton and a six.
Speaker A What?
Speaker B You don't get to do this during the show and not get called out on this one.
Speaker A How did you turn that down?
Speaker B I don't know. Maybe after we got done talking about it being his breakout game and how he finished in the top five. That really motivated Josh.
Speaker A They're like, oh, this, this is. We should go get him.
Speaker B This is the Amari D MARKADO of trade off.
Speaker A Now keep in mind that so six round pick. We are three round keeper.
Speaker B It's like a ninth.
Speaker A So it's like a ninth round pick.
Speaker B And if I could explode his computer right now, I would do it.
Speaker A I mean, Tory Horton, I'm going to decline that one. He had a, he had a touchdown.
Speaker B Yeah, yeah, that's. That's not good. All right, moving on. Sorry, you were talking about Diggs. You were giving me some praise or something.
Speaker A Yeah, this, this was obviously a, you know, a very important game to digs coming back to Buffalo who, you know, basically didn't want him anymore and sent him pack. But more importantly, he is healthy. Looks like he's back from the ACL injury. This is two weeks in a row over 100 yards. The volume is, you know, I went.
Speaker B And Drake May is playing great.
Speaker A Drake May is playing really, really well. I week one I went decently hard in most of my leagues after Booty because I see where the value of the. If there is a clear cut wide receiver one for the Patriots where target volume is predictable, there's value to be had there and it. And it might. It seems like it's not booty. It seems like now that Diggs is getting healthy, the guy that they paid a lot of money this offseason to come, you know, be a leader in this locker room, you know, he's going to still be on some waivers and needs to be, I think paid a lot.
Speaker B He's ramping up. And the Drake made confidence. It made sense to go after who you thought would be their best target. And we thought that maybe Stevon Diggs would be kind of stuck in the 8 to 10 yard range. Didn't happen.
Speaker A Diggs was. Has been such a funny roller coaster of an off season. When we finished the udk, when we launched the udk, he was in there as I forget if it was values or, you know, I think it was in the values. He was one of those guys. Just seemed like a perfect situation for him. But then the reports were, well, he might not. He might start on the pup. And so we took him out and then it was like, okay, he's not going to be ready for the beginning of the season. Oh, snap, snip, snap. Now he is going to be ready for the season. Now he's there, but he's not really used. It seems like now he is the wide receiver one and I mean you could play him. Oh yeah, I think you should.
Speaker B 41 and 43% of the team's targets the last two weeks second highest receiver was Hunter Henry and what an impressive win by New England. Yeah, I mean that's. That's great. You want that. You want some like competition in that division.
Speaker A I wish we had like Vrabel. I. I have always had a man crush for Variable. I think he is a phenomenal head coach. He is exactly what he is A. He's a Dan Campbell. He is someone that's going to lead them in. He has a culture. It's different than what would he do.
Speaker B If Drew Patsing was on his staff.
Speaker A He would never have Drew Petsing, but if he was on his staff, he would take him up to a bridge.
Speaker B Okay.
Speaker A And he would say, drew, come here.
Speaker B Yeah.
Speaker A And then he'd say, I want to show you something. And then he would throw him off the bridge.
Speaker B Yeah. And that's the kind of man he is.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B A man we respect.
Speaker A He would, he would take him to the train station. Wyoming.
Speaker B Yeah, the train station. We do not condone violence. No, no, no. Puka Nakua machine like every week. Rashid Shahid, he was a DFS dart throw and he had like a 900 yard touchdown in this game. Kendrick Bourne, the born supremacy. Got it done. Tim.
Speaker A Yeah. I was on the DeMarcus Robinson. So was I. I thought he would.
Speaker B Be the guy because of horns drops the week before.
Speaker A Yeah. But it was. He was born again.
Speaker B Okay, nice. A.J. barner, Jake Ferguson, Theo Johnson. I think all three of those guys caught two touchdowns, am I right?
Speaker A That is correct.
Speaker B That'll help.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B Sam Laporta and Darren Waller also caught touchdowns. Waller, Waller looks like a top five guy next the rest of the season.
Speaker A To me he appears that way. I mean the fact that you have involved right off the bat, especially involved red zone. Oriented around the red zone. You need. This is like an archetype of a player that they. That the Miami Dolphins desperately needed. And then when you combine that with looking at, you know, last year John U. Smith was the tight end four and they lost Tyree Kill. So this is both really necessary and perfect for the team.
Speaker B If you have Waller, you can lock him in. Shout out to the first hundred yard game for Dalton Kincaid in his career who is now the tight end of the week two. He is the tight end two.
Speaker A Is he really?
Speaker B Yes.
Speaker A Oh man.
Speaker B Yes. He is earning our praise. Tyler Warren had another touchdown. And then Meowson Taylor. 9 for 67. 12 targets Kyle threw in this stat. Since 2000 there are only two rookie tight ends ever to see 12 plus targets in a game within their first five games. Brock Bowers, Mason Taylor. All right, we'll take a break. We'll talk duds where we're more comfortable.
Speaker A Pooped in his big boy pants.
Speaker B There was a famous Cardinal game in the Denny Green era on Monday Night Football.
Speaker A Tago Bears.
Speaker B The they are who we thought they are game where they kicked the ball to Devin Hester showing the reckless stupidity that defines our franchise. And that was at the time and for many years following the most embarrassing public defeat of our lives. Until yesterday.
Speaker A Yeah, yesterday.
Speaker B We let the Titans off the hook. We let them off the hook, man.
Speaker A The Titans.
Speaker B I mean, the victory speech by the Titans and Brian Callahan in the locker room.
Speaker A He couldn't. I didn't see it.
Speaker B He couldn't even keep. He couldn't even go in there and be like, you guys did this. He had to be like, sometimes you need some things to go your way. He had to. He had to equivocate on his victory.
Speaker A Is that because the Titans absolutely suck?
Speaker B I mean like they're owing for.
Speaker A They look terrible on. In all phases of the game. Cam Ward does not look like he is ready yet.
Speaker B I mean, he had moments in that.
Speaker A Game, sure, but moments. I mean, he had Calvin Ridley throw. Calvin Ridley throw. He had a moment, but they won the game. They won the game. That is. I mean, it's so you don't often.
Speaker B Win by a fumbled pick. But look, the Cardinal season is unequivocally over. They don't play a sub 500 team for a long time. They're going to get their anuses handed to them in Indianapolis next week.
Speaker A Oh yeah.
Speaker B And then they're going to proceed to have that happen over and over again until we fire the guys. So if you want to fire them now and give our offense some hope for fantasy. That's my position. I'm also thinking through the lens of, hey, what if we had a normal ish middle of the road offense where Marvin Harrison is targeted? He was dominating. Marvin Harrison was dominating. I don't think he got targeted for 26 consecutive plays.
Speaker A He finished at a 17% target share, which is very low.
Speaker B It's the lowest of the season in a game in which he had what, 70 plus receiving yards and was. Was.
Speaker A Well, you got to keep in mind we had a lead. So once you have a lead.
Speaker B Oh, that's when you stop playing.
Speaker A Stop.
Speaker B Because leads are permanent. Once you get it, it's locked. All right. I'm still mad. All right. Duds of the week. Justin Herbert EW 166 and 1. He's been real bad for fantasy since the week one explosion.
Speaker A They had some really, really unfortunate turnovers in this game. Honestly, the score of this game, 10 to 27, seems like they got just beat up, but they were, they were up 10 nothing. And it was a close game for many, for the majority of it. But everything went wrong when it like as soon as you needed something to happen, something went wrong for them.
Speaker B And they have now they lost to the Giants and now they lost again to the Commanders. Justin Herbert, if you throw out week one, which was his super performance, right. The season pace. So four games played since then, his pace is 3,800 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B With 17 interceptions.
Speaker A The touchdowns are the big issue here. If you look at what the Chargers are scoring offensively, 10 points this week, 18 points the week prior, 23 points a week prior, 20 points a week. Like, they're just, they aren't, they aren't scoring enough to have as good enough fantasy relevance as you want. And it's genuinely, I think it's offensive line. Like at the very beginning of the year, it looked like how do you stop this offense? And now with the injuries they've had.
Speaker B It'S like you see it every play.
Speaker A I know how to stop the offense. Get three guys in Justin Herbert's face as soon as the ball gets there.
Speaker B No, you're right. And despite the victory, Drake May was actually really bad for Fantasy. Did not throw a touchdown pass.
Speaker A He looked good, he played well. But yeah, if touchdowns, 12 fantasy points. When Ramondray has the two rushing touchdowns, it was kind of like Dak Prescott Week 1. He dominated the game, looked awesome. It was the quarterback 29. Like it was all javante touchdowns.
Speaker B We also had the first dud of the season and it was a big one for James Cook. Only 4.9 fantasy points. So he's in our duds list. Alvin Camara, it seemed like he was constantly like being targeted or handed the football. But then like this one was not really true because he went out hurt. I don't know if you saw this. He limped off the field at one point, came back. The snap counts for Kendra Miller, 13%, 16%, then 27% and 32%, now 41%.
Speaker A He had more carries in this game than Alvin Camara did. And he's. He seems like on the rushing attack, not in the passing game, but in the rushing attack. It seems like it's. It's a scary proposition that it could be a 50, 50 split. We're too early to trade Camara they could trade Camara.
Speaker B Still don't know what that. I know, I know. But it's. I mean the rumors are out there, but from a lot of teams. The contract is worth it if you have a major injury. Think about playoff bound teams too. If somebody goes down. Yeah, you know, God forbid, sake one or somebody, they'll spend the money to try to repeat. Chase Brown a. This might as well be called the Chase Brown duds of the week section. He has not finished inside the top 24. He is one of the worst picks in fantasy. Part of it is his fault. Part of it is not his fault. Part of it is the offensive line. Part of it is Jake Browning who probably will not start another game for that team.
Speaker A I think Jake Browning starts next week.
Speaker B Well, the team has at least come out and said that they are looking hard at it. Yeah, the turnovers have been outrageous since 2014.
Speaker A There have been 246 running max who've seen 80 plus touches through the first five weeks of the season. 246 times.
Speaker B That's a lot of. That's a lot of sample.
Speaker A Chase Brown in total yards from scrimmage ranks 246th.
Speaker B That's the least you've ever done out of that many.
Speaker A Out of anyone who's touched the ball that much.
Speaker B He's the least.
Speaker A He's the least.
Speaker B If I touched of a lot. If I had touched it 80 times, I would have been the least.
Speaker A Correct. You would have been 246th. But instead is Chase Brown who's 246th.
Speaker B This one was crazy to me. And Woody Marks, I mean this was a huge whiff. I had two major whiffs on the week. Woody Marks was one of them. Jacoby Myers was the other one. Woody Mark 7 for 24. He had a big run called back. He had 39% of the snaps this game. You look at the snaps and you say, okay, he had more snaps than Nick Chubb. That matters to me.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B But then you see Damian Pierce got snaps. 100% of the Damian Pierce snaps came when they were up like 40 to 3. So I don't care about those. They have a bye week though. And then it's a tough start now because Nick Chubb had the touchdown run and they gave Nick Chubb the first driver too.
Speaker A And it's just, it's wild to me to come off of a game where you get 22 opportunities, 17 rushing attempts, have the coach say we're excited to get him the ball more and then come in the next week and you give him seven rushing attempts. It made no sense to me. And you could say, oh, it was a blowout. But it was a blowout the week prior. They won 26 to nothing.
Speaker B No, you're right. And the other part of this game was like there wasn't a check down situation like C.J. stroud through four touchdowns. He didn't need to check the ball down because the pass rush was nonexistent from this Baltimore defense that felt like they had seven guys out there. So he didn't get any catches. It was really not great. I mean it was just a process. I thought the process was right and it didn't work out at all. So it's a Whiff. Travion Henderson 6 for 24. Can't play him right now.
Speaker A He's going to keep hurting people with this, with this Antonio Gibson injury.
Speaker B Yeah, there's always a reason to play him.
Speaker A There's always a reason to play him like genuinely next week he might be a good play. Genuinely against the Saints without Gibson he might be a good play. But so far he has not yet been.
Speaker B No, that's, it's, it's, it's not great. Derek Henry 15 for 33 and a touchdown.
Speaker A Saved himself with the touchdown. But he has, he has not looked great. And without Lamar, you know, I was.
Speaker B Shocked he was in the game for that touchdown because that was a garbage time touchdown.
Speaker A I was hopeful that Derek Henry would really dominate this. You know, he was 24 so far on the week, but man, week. 169 yards and two touchdowns. Looked unstoppable. Had a couple more big plays the next week even though he had fumbles that kind of took away from it. But if you look from the last month after that week one, just like we were doing with Herbert, he is on pace for 195 attempts and 629 rushing yards.
Speaker B Well, and you got an injury for a little while here they're one in four.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B What is Derek Henry good at? Scoring lots of fantasy points. When they win.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B When they don't win, Derek Henry. This is the same with Tennessee. When they don't win, you don't win. That's kind of the way it goes. You better hope for snow in Vermont.
Speaker A They've got the Rams this week, then a bye, then a bye week. So we don't know if Lamar is going to play, but obviously if they don't play Lamar this week, they get.
Speaker B If you could trade, here's the trade. You take Derek Henry and you throw somebody half decent with him and you try to get Jacobs because you'd skip the bye week.
Speaker A Oh, I would do that in a heart.
Speaker B I mean, I think that you could probably get that done. No, you could get it done if you put the right player in there. You got to give more than Derek Henry. If somebody sees that Derek Henry name and then you can throw them a wide receiver that's performing pretty well. I don't know. That's what I would try to do because this is the time of year with the bye weeks too, when you make trades of major names for major names. If you can skip a bye week.
Speaker A It makes a big difference.
Speaker B That's a, you know, a big deal. Quentin Johnston had his first dud of the season. It wasn't great for him. It wasn't great for Keenan Allen. We did see your start of the week. Glad McConkey score a touchdown. He also, I don't know if you saw this play, Jason, in your, in your.
Speaker A He scored two touchdowns.
Speaker B Yeah, I was going to say they called his return touchdown back. That was the second touchdown. Made a bunch of great moves.
Speaker A He was awesome. He hurdled the guy at the end.
Speaker B He did. And it was an embarrassing hurdle for that person.
Speaker A Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Speaker B That was a kicker that stood like three yards from the end zone and then got cooked. A.J. brown, I mean he's been the wide receiver 46 or worse in four or five weeks. I offered you Debo for him last week. That would have really locked up your victory.
Speaker A Yeah. Or if he was one yard faster on a run, he would be like the wide receiver.
Speaker B Is that what you're going to hold on to for A.J. brown moving forward?
Speaker A Yeah, no, I, I, you know, A.J.
Speaker B Brown has had stretches, ifs and butts, candy and nuts.
Speaker A Yeah. I mean you look back at, remember 2023, where the first half of the season, the first nine weeks he was, he had like the, the NFL record for most 135 yard games in a row. Was dominant. And then the end of the season he was on pace for nothing. You know, he's like 800 yard pace and was terrible. This happens sometimes on this team. But I still think AJ Brown is someone you're not going to move on from.
Speaker B So don't send that offer back over.
Speaker A You can send it.
Speaker B Here's a red alert situation at this point. Jameson Williams, one target, one catch, nine yards. The worry when we talked about Jameson for the week was that they might not need him to win this game. Well, they clearly won it without him because he is not doing well. 2.2 receptions a game, 45 receiving yards a game. He's on a ton of rosters. I believed in him going into the season. Right now. I'm sure he'll show up on a cut list for waiver waiver day.
Speaker A Yeah, it's really tough. You want him. He is a good wide receiver on a great offense and that's usually a recipe for success. But the way that he is utilized, he's not his. He has one game in his career with more than five receptions. And so we're pretty far into a career for that to be the case. You know, we in the, in the duds or in the studs section, you know, we're talking about old man Stefan Diggs with 10 catches. We're talking about Kendrick Bourne with 10 catches. You know, it's like we got one game with six catches in his career and not nothing more than that. It's scary.
Speaker B You're just waiting on a big play and it's not a good place to be. A.J. brown is the wide receiver 39 right now. Jameson Williams is the wide receiver 43 right now. Yeah, so if you play, I mean, A.J. brown, Jameson Williams, that could have been your.
Speaker A I mean, I've got A.J. brown, I've started him every single week in league of record and it has been a not fun process.
Speaker B Not fun. That's a good way to describe Chris Godwin right now. 3 for 26 in a game that a Buka dominated Godwin. This was the worry, like people wanted to start him because of the name. You know, he's coming off a major injury. Not the same dude. Yeah, when you, you can't play him.
Speaker A No, I mean when you come back from an injury, it's, it's often hard. Look at, look at Stefan Diggs. Stefan Diggs was ready to start the season, but not really.
Speaker B Right.
Speaker A It took some time for him to work himself back in. You know, last week Chris Godwin had 10 targets and ended up with three for 26. Is not, as you know, he's not the, he's not the Chris Godwin of old right now.
Speaker B No Brock Bowers, no Michael Mayer. Geno Smith still couldn't do anything with his receiving.
Speaker A Geno Smith has been probably to me, to my eyeballs, like the biggest disappointment.
Speaker B He's looked horror, he's looked horrible.
Speaker A He looked awful. And he. And he didn't. He didn't until all of a sudden this year he goes to the Raiders.
Speaker B And makes Seattle Seahawks look so smart. Making the swap, looking great. Jacoby Myers, 4 for 32 in a game where I thought. But like I mentioned this, I don't know if you saw Jay. His seven plus reception line was minus 103. On the sports books. He ends up with six targets, four for 32. Managed to survive my prize pick projection for the Friday by getting over three and a half, but it was gross. I thought he'd be a great start this week. The target share is nonexistent. Trey Tucker got a bunch of targets again. This team is pretty darn bad. They're a really, really bad team. No Brock Bowers right now the targeting of Ash and Genti is encouraging because the offensive line is so beat up. Genti was heavily involved in the receiving game again this week.
Speaker A Yeah. He had seven targets, five for 42 through the air 14.
Speaker B Seven targets.
Speaker A Yeah.
Speaker B That, that's, that's outrageous.
Speaker A Well, it's great. And it's the first time we've seen it this season where he's like hyper targeted in the run game and I think passing game in the passing game and he was, you know, this probably was due to the fact that they were missing their left tackle.
Speaker B Yeah. And no Brock Bowers, Trey McBride. Where are you with McBride? It's actually been, it's been rough. Like Trey McBride on the season, still the tight end five. But you've had, I would say three games that you were just kind of bummed out. A little disappointed. He's only got one receiving touchdown. He's still that guy.
Speaker A He's. Yeah, I mean he's still the guy. He's still the number one target in this offense. The offense. Honestly, you look at the highest drafted tight ends, right. Brock Bowers just crushed people. Trey McBride has not returned value there.
Speaker B Yeah.
Speaker A George Kittle looked like he was going to smash it but got injured.
Speaker B Right.
Speaker A So those, those high tight end selections have not worked out so far.
Speaker B Yeah, no, it's a good point.
Speaker A In our, in our chopped leagues, the Brock Bowers manager has been chopped twice. And the Trey McBride manager this week is looking like he's going to get chopped. So it's.
Speaker B And what's his name?
Speaker A Mike the fantasy hit man. Right.
Speaker B So you were last week.
Speaker A Yeah. The early tight end is not working out so far.
Speaker B How about Zach Ertz not working out?
Speaker A Oh, that's unfortunate for me.
Speaker B One target, zero receptions.
Speaker A A full goose.
Speaker B Juwan Johnson two for 17.
Speaker A He got injured. Right. He was limited or something.
Speaker B He was questionable coming into the game. He played okay. But I mean the Juwan Johnson experience is slowing down because we've had the basically 3 for 28, 2 for 17. So you know you Hunter Henry did. He was second on the team in receiving yards but just 2 for 46 in this game. Drake made in throw a receiving touch or throw a passing touchdown. Mark Andrews Isaiah likely did nothing with Cooper rush and that was studs and duds presented by Lowe's. Lowe's knows Sundays are for NFL football. Earn your Sunday with Lowe's official partner of the NFL.
Speaker A We did it.
Speaker B We got through it. Any news on Cardinals firing people?
Speaker A I have not seen.
Speaker B It would make me feel better.
Speaker A I've not seen any of the Bidwell step aside yet.
Speaker B That's looking into that happen they own the team.
Speaker A Yeah, but just step aside.
Speaker B You think about picking a new team?
Speaker A I'm thinking about it every week.

Unless your name's Travis Etienne or Travis Hunter, all the Travis's go Travis.
