spk_0 Hey everybody welcome back to the Cabral Concept kicking off our mindset and motivation
spk_0 Monday show for the week and I want to share with you this is that it only takes one in life.
spk_0 I don't want to share with you a story because I've seen people's lives completely shift from just
spk_0 one decision, one active card, one step in a new direction. So I ask you if you knew that you would
spk_0 be successful with your next courageous step, your next step towards your true potential,
spk_0 what would that look like? What step would that be? What is holding you back now from actually
spk_0 taking that next step in life? Because so many people believe that it takes so much courage, so much
spk_0 learning, so much talent, so much skill, so much life experience to be able to get ahead in life
spk_0 and that's usually not the case. It's honestly just one more step towards their goal.
spk_0 One more step not even in the right direction, one more step in a direction that you use
spk_0 through your best possible knowledge right now in order to move forward in life and you know what
spk_0 as I've shared before it's possible that it won't be the right step but you won't know and you
spk_0 won't be able to check that one off the list until you take it. So transformation does not require
spk_0 years. It literally happens in a moment, a moment of courage or simply a moment of suspending
spk_0 disbelief and I'm sure that many times you don't have to go all in and believe in yourself.
spk_0 You don't have to go all in and believe in your coach, the blueprint, the methodology, the book
spk_0 or the course. All you need to do is to spend disbelief and take yes it is a courageous step
spk_0 in that new direction. A place they haven't been before, they haven't done before, so it will feel
spk_0 a little bit scary. But if you've been waiting for that perfect time, honestly this is the trap that
spk_0 we fall fall into. We really do. The real shift happens when you act. A lot of people wait to be
spk_0 ready but truthfully you get ready and you feel ready after you've already taken that first action
spk_0 when you do act. And it's the oddest thing and I'll just share with you because again, I've been
spk_0 working with clients for so long that they feel like they need to accumulate more knowledge.
spk_0 They need to learn more. I've even seen this in personal training. So back in the day, the late
spk_0 90s, early 2000s, I'm working as a nutritionist and personal trainer and I see all these people and
spk_0 I would chat with them in the gym. I love talking with people. I would just give them free advice.
spk_0 They didn't sign up with me. And I just said like, hey, what are your goals? What are you looking
spk_0 to do? Why are you choosing that exercise? Like I'm just kind of learning about them. And they're like,
spk_0 wow, this is really helpful. And they say, I know they're a personal trainer here. I'd like to
spk_0 I'd like to work with you, but I want to lose some weight first. And I always thought like that was
spk_0 that was the oddest thing I'd ever heard. It really was. Even back then, it was a teenager in
spk_0 early 20s. I'm like, you want to lose weight before you meet with me? Okay. Like, but why? Like,
spk_0 again, take me out of the equation. You want to lose weight? You want to get in shape before you
spk_0 meet with your personal trainer? And I understand like, maybe it's because you want to make a little
spk_0 bit of progress. You were maybe a little embarrassed as to where you were. I totally get that. But that's
spk_0 not a personal trainer's thinking they're like, it's my job to work with you. It's my job to get
spk_0 you results. That's that's really it. And it's like, you don't wait to go to see your doctor
spk_0 before you get healthy, right? Like, that's that's shouldn't be the go on. She'd be the way with
spk_0 with anything else. You don't wait to not be in pain to go see a massage therapist. Hopefully
spk_0 you're maintaining. But these are all things that you want to work with. So the thing is this is
spk_0 that you need to simply take that next step. Right? Whatever it is, maybe work with a
spk_0 prostrater might be work massage therapist might be working with a coach or it's just you deciding to
spk_0 run the at home lab test. That could just be the catalyst. Running one at home lab test is that
spk_0 going to change your entire life. It might not from that one lab. But because you took a giant step
spk_0 towards actually wanting to achieve your goals because there's a desire. There's a vision board.
spk_0 There's journaling. But then there's the real world as well. I love them all. But we really need
spk_0 to take that first step. So if you running the minerals and metals tests, let's say, really simple,
spk_0 small here, simple. We look at your stress levels through the electrolytes, mineral levels,
spk_0 your heavy metals. Is it the end all be all? No. Great first lab to start with. That's what I did when
spk_0 I started my healing process. Right? And so, okay, you run that. Then what happens next? Okay, you get
spk_0 your results. The coach explains what they mean. You get a plan built for you. It's your initial
spk_0 plan. It's your initial lab test. You make progress then as you need to be because everything needs to
spk_0 be adaptive after four weeks, eight weeks, 12 weeks with the next thing. Right? So you did the first
spk_0 thing that then leads to the next thing, which ultimately gets you where you want to be. Now,
spk_0 keep in mind, you don't get to the next thing without taking the first step. You don't even know
spk_0 the questions to ask to create the next thing or even find out what the next thing is until you've
spk_0 done step number one. So this is called the one theory. It's how one choice can change everything
spk_0 in your life. But also don't believe that this is going to be this monumental decision, this
spk_0 monumental choice. If it's helping to improve your maybe trauma that you're dealing with, you find
spk_0 a therapist, someone that's usually referred to you that they've helped someone else in a position
spk_0 like your own. They might not be the person you're working with three years from now, but they're
spk_0 that first step. It allows you to open up. They start to ask questions. You start to think of things
spk_0 that you didn't necessarily look at it from that angle. Why? Because it's you. You only have your
spk_0 reality, your perspective to look at. That's why I said meeting with the personal trainer. You could
spk_0 read all sorts of different things. But this is literally what this person does for 40 hours a week.
spk_0 And they've seen what works. They've seen what doesn't work. They've maybe been doing it for 10
spk_0 years. They can shortcut your path to success. Right? Working with a car tractor that does
spk_0 active release therapy or grass tin or all sorts of different things. They can help. Again, I had a
spk_0 porn rotator cuff went to the right person saved me from having a new surgery, even though I had a
spk_0 60% tear. And I was able to then and in today be pain free. So it's it's taking the first step. I'm
spk_0 like, all right, I got to meet with the right person. Actually, I met with two that weren't the
spk_0 right. I met with a great physical therapist, but didn't help. Met with another non car
spk_0 tractor. And what's exactly what I was looking for? I was looking for all adjustments. I was looking
spk_0 for a program to actually help with the labor and based tear in my shoulder. Found the third one.
spk_0 But the others gave me more questions to ask. And they also helped me to understand what I didn't
spk_0 need. Right? So the step just to get started was exactly what I needed, which brings me to my next
spk_0 point is that you don't need to overhaul your entire life to take that next step to move towards
spk_0 your true potential and your dreams in life. You need to make the next right decision.
spk_0 So what's the one decision? Because it's probably in the back of your mind right now. What's the one
spk_0 decision you've been putting off that could open the floodgates for your success? It's the next thing.
spk_0 It doesn't have to be everything, but it is the next thing. What is that decision you've been
spk_0 thinking of? Is it booking a health consultation, running an at home lab test, beginning a protocol,
spk_0 meeting with a personal trainer, meeting with a integrative health practitioner,
spk_0 eliminate doing elimination diet, doing a functional medicine detox, going for that 20 minute walk
spk_0 after dinner, trying to get in your 10,000 steps per day. Like what is that thing? Again,
spk_0 it's not everything. It's the next thing. What is that next step that you've been putting off?
spk_0 So remember, transformation doesn't wait for the perfect time. There is no perfect time and
spk_0 you're never going to know everything you need to to make the most educated decision you want to.
spk_0 So the goal is to not find the perfect time, but to realize what can I do right now in this moment
spk_0 in time. And as you take that next step, it literally gets more action. When I start to work on a
spk_0 project that I'm overwhelmed by, that I'm anxious by, the act of just sitting down and starting
spk_0 begins to reduce things, because action oftentimes eliminates anxiety. It does for myself,
spk_0 and it does for many of the people in our health-based community. So do not wait years to begin this
spk_0 next action. Anything you can do right now is always far better, even if not perfect. And I want
spk_0 one decision today that could shift everything in my life going forward. Thank you so much for
