spk_0 I, there's a lot of football every weekend.

spk_0 And the Broncos are not a super marquee team,

spk_0 if it's not your team.

spk_0 And so it's a weird universe where

spk_0 most of the people who are watching the Broncos weekend

spk_0 week out the closest are Bronco fans.

spk_0 And they want bonics to be good.

spk_0 And they want to puff their chest out and be like,

spk_0 when the chiefs were winning close games, it was all good.

spk_0 And now it's not.

spk_0 The only other people watching the Broncos really closely

spk_0 are people that are, it's their job or gambling on it

spk_0 or have a vested interest in the Broncos not being good.

spk_0 I happen to check all three boxes.

spk_0 I'm gambling on it.

spk_0 I don't, I want them to fall back for the chiefs.

spk_0 And it's my job.

spk_0 And I'm telling you, America, that defense is awesome.

spk_0 And while I think Sean Payton is a little overstated at times

spk_0 by some members of the media,

spk_0 I think he designed and often to guys do seem to run open

spk_0 a fair amount.

spk_0 And their quarterback cannot hit him.

spk_0 And the running game is not as potent as they hoped it would be.

spk_0 And there be.

spk_0 But it's better, it's the best part of their own.

spk_0 No question about it.

spk_0 No, no, but if they had a dynamic,

spk_0 if you have a great defense, good offensive line

spk_0 and dynamic running game,

spk_0 then you can get away with having what is right now

spk_0 a bottom five or six production from the quarterback position.

spk_0 And so they are, this is exactly how they played in London

spk_0 when they escaped against the Jets.

spk_0 This is how they played last week

spk_0 when it took a dirty hit to knock CJ out of the game

spk_0 to escape against the Texans.

spk_0 It's how they played in week one to beat the Titans.

spk_0 And so I just, they have a great defense.

spk_0 And the defense makes them frisky.

spk_0 But that offense and that quarterback

spk_0 make them every other AFC playoff team

spk_0 brew is going to be saying,

spk_0 please give us the Broncos of all the available teams.

spk_0 Give us them because again,

spk_0 there's not gonna be any bad teams in the playoffs.

spk_0 He is going to be the worst quarterback in this playoffs

spk_0 by such a wide margin that you're just gonna roll the dice with him.

spk_0 I wouldn't go that far.

spk_0 Like obviously with him, he's struggling badly

spk_0 and I'll get to him.

spk_0 But because of that defense,

spk_0 like that defense is playing historically well.

spk_0 It's great.

spk_0 What do they have 46 sacks?

spk_0 Sounds right.

spk_0 Something like that.

spk_0 Like they're on pace to break the record.

spk_0 You know, the bear's record in 1984,

spk_0 which 72 they're on pace, I think for 78.

spk_0 And obviously they're getting the guys five and six times

spk_0 every game.

spk_0 It feels like on average is 4.6.

spk_0 But so that for that reason,

spk_0 teams may not be clamoring to face them in the playoffs.

spk_0 But obviously the issue is Bonyx.

spk_0 And even you're right with the run game.

spk_0 I mean, if they had like a top level back,

spk_0 then you could just dink and dunk with him with Bonyx

spk_0 and then run your bell cow.

spk_0 Now, JK Dobbins is having a good year.

spk_0 I mean, for him.

spk_0 He hurt last night.

spk_0 Yeah, and if he tweeted about it,

spk_0 he tweeted about a hip drug,

spk_0 just starting to run.

spk_0 Like 30 minutes ago, he tweeted about the hip drop tackle.

spk_0 And he said he's like, they either need to flag it

spk_0 or actually outlaw it.

spk_0 And the reporting is he's getting a second opinion on his foot,

spk_0 So that would, so they get the rookie RJ Harvey,

spk_0 I feel like this is the latest example to us,

spk_0 to just pump the brakes on some of the young quarterbacks.

spk_0 And I don't necessarily feel that way about Drake May,

spk_0 because he's been so good, he's big.

spk_0 Like he has all the measurable, you know what I mean?

spk_0 But CJ Stroud, phenomenal rookie year,

spk_0 came back to Earth and still on Earth right now,

spk_0 you know, in his third year.

spk_0 Jaden Daniels, the injury's obviously a huge,

spk_0 the biggest factor, but even when he was playing,

spk_0 he wasn't like on fire.

spk_0 Quite like last year.

spk_0 And now you got Bonyx, and you rightfully said,

spk_0 this is kind of what's gonna happen,

spk_0 like a Mac Jones type situation.

spk_0 And so far, you've been right on the money with that.

spk_0 And he is the, they are winning despite him.

spk_0 It's not even, I don't even know,

spk_0 I mean, I guess I can't say it's worse

spk_0 than the Trevor Lawrence situation,

spk_0 where they were kind of winning in spite of Trevor.

spk_0 But this looks worse.

spk_0 Like right now, I mean, his decision,

spk_0 This decision making is horrible.

spk_0 I, even, whether it was the press conference post game,

spk_0 you can't, I can't see everything in the game,

spk_0 but I feel like he's playing without confidence.

spk_0 Like he is just what the guy you saw last year,

spk_0 particularly toward the end of the season,

spk_0 and the guy you see now are light years apart.

spk_0 I think he's playing with too much confidence.

spk_0 so many of his throws are audacious.

spk_0 It's, I'm not setting my feet and I'm running,

spk_0 or I'm gonna, like, it's trying to fit it into tight windows.

spk_0 Like, I feel like his problem isn't that he's too conservative.

spk_0 I feel like his problem is sometimes that he tries to do too much.

spk_0 So maybe it's a combination of being unconfident

spk_0 on certain things, but also still really believing

spk_0 in his overall talent in a way that, again,

spk_0 the Broncos are eight and two.

spk_0 Like, I want to separate these things.

spk_0 The Broncos team has proven they're a good team.

spk_0 I was wrong about them.

spk_0 I was like, I, but the defense is carrying

spk_0 the entire workload right now in a way

spk_0 that I don't think it's sustainable against the good teams

spk_0 even though they beat Philly.

spk_0 And quickly, what you said about the cheese,

spk_0 because this, I mean, obviously,

spk_0 my home was playing way better than this,

spk_0 but it's reminiscent the close wins, some wins

spk_0 where you like, they got a break, they won.

spk_0 The difference is the track record.

spk_0 And so you, the Eagles don't even get

spk_0 that benefit of the doubt.

spk_0 Even though they won the Super Bowl last year

spk_0 when they don't look good in wins, people criticize them.

spk_0 The chiefs, you know, they, because of their past

spk_0 and the Super Bowls, they have gotten a pass

spk_0 and rightfully so that you can't give to the Broncos.

spk_0 He's completing less than 60% of his passes.

spk_0 because I went back and looked at it.

spk_0 The chiefs last year, it was close games.

spk_0 It was close games against playoff teams.

spk_0 It was close games against the Broncos,

spk_0 who made the playoffs against Cincinnati, against Baltimore.

spk_0 The only close game against a non-playoff team

spk_0 they had like that against bad team was the Raiders game.

spk_0 The Broncos, it's these close games against the Titans

spk_0 and the Giants and the Jets and the Texans

spk_0 with the backup quarterback and the Raiders last night.

spk_0 That's the, that's the other piece of it.

spk_0 And so I just, I, I think he is going to be

spk_0 the reason this team does not achieve Sean Patens' belief in it.

spk_0 Sean Patens said this team can win the Super Bowl

spk_0 and the reason that at eight and two

spk_0 with the best statistical offensive line in football,

spk_0 the best defensive line or past Russian football

spk_0 and an excellent defense, nobody thinks they can win the Super Bowl.

spk_0 It's because of the quarterback.

spk_0 They can disrupt the quarterback.

spk_0 They, yes, that might go a long way.

spk_0 Last time Denver won seven straight, they won the Super Bowl.

spk_0 Okay, well, so the Broncos have eight wins.

spk_0 Kansas City has five, a quick update on the playoff odds.

spk_0 Through luckily you missed the yesterday.

spk_0 Several things were.

spk_0 Denver is now 90% to make the playoffs,

spk_0 50% to win the division according to the athletic,

spk_0 which is owned and part by the New York Times.

spk_0 Can I tell you something funny about this graphic?

spk_0 Yesterday before the game, Denver had slightly better odds

spk_0 to win the division.

spk_0 They were plus 100 and Casey was plus 150.

spk_0 So even though they won because it looked the way it did,

spk_0 the odds dropped.

spk_0 The, there, Vegas was like, ah, the chiefs have a slightly

spk_0 better chance today than they did yesterday,

spk_0 even though Denver won.

spk_0 So it's a weird part.

spk_0 Do you think the division is out of reach

spk_0 even though the odds are tight?

spk_0 No, I, so this is a very unique circumstance that I cannot remember

spk_0 this late in the season, this being true.

spk_0 Technically right now, the Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs,

spk_0 all control their own destiny for the division.

spk_0 Meaning it because they play each other enough.

spk_0 Meaning if any of them win out, they win the division.

spk_0 Right.

spk_0 And so, but I don't anticipate the chiefs are going to win out.

spk_0 However, I do anticipate the chiefs off of by are going to

spk_0 win in Denver and I do anticipate the chiefs in week 16.

spk_0 I think it is at home are going to beat Denver.

spk_0 And that, that, de facto in my brain, ties them.

spk_0 Like that, chiefs have four losses.

spk_0 Denver has two.

spk_0 I believe the chiefs are going to go two and o against the Denver Broncos.

spk_0 In which case, no, it's definitively not out of reach.

spk_0 Now, it does mean Kansas City because Denver keeps winning these close games

spk_0 and having these comebacks, even if Kansas City sweeps them,

spk_0 it doesn't lock the division for them because Kansas City's margin of error has narrowed.

spk_0 But I, I don't think what Denver is doing is sustainable in the second,

spk_0 the final third of their season when they finally play good teams other than Philadelphia.

spk_0 And so, no, I don't think it's out of reach for kids.

spk_0 Well, I agree.

spk_0 And I mean, like you said, the fact that the chiefs play them twice

spk_0 means that it's not out of reach.

spk_0 I mean, if they beat them, and I think it breaks really well for the chiefs

spk_0 because as you said, the next game against Denver is off the by.

spk_0 So you certainly think the chiefs are going to be ready and when that game in Denver.

spk_0 And then the last that like that game, I think it's week 17.

spk_0 That could determine the division.

spk_0 I think the chargers and I really have liked the chargers with the injuries.

spk_0 And look, Joe, we've been talking about him like he's the best offensive

spk_0 lineman of all time, right?

spk_0 But still without slater, without him, I think they're going to fall off a little bit.

spk_0 I still think they can make the playoffs.

spk_0 But I think it's between Denver and Kansas City.

spk_0 And that last game being in Kansas City, that you got to like the chiefs and that one.

spk_0 And here you mentioned it, Nick, the last four games for the, I don't know if it was up there.

spk_0 For the Broncos.

spk_0 Broncos Green Bay, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Chargers.

spk_0 Right.

spk_0 That is some tough sledding.

spk_0 So I think the chiefs, look, obviously if the chiefs lose to Denver off the by.

spk_0 Then the division that the chiefs play a division championship elimination game out of the

spk_0 body.

spk_0 Like there, if the chiefs, I am going to be on the record, look into the camera right now.

spk_0 If the chiefs lose out of the body, they cannot in my opinion win the AFC West.

spk_0 And we have to start the playoffs.

spk_0 Sadly talking about can they miss the playoffs?

spk_0 If they lose coming out of the by.

spk_0 So that game is as important of a regular season game as the chiefs have played in my

spk_0 home's his career.

spk_0 That's why I'm worried about it.

spk_0 I'd love to hear the chiefs a little bit.

spk_0 I mean, they're only a three point favorite on the look ahead.

spk_0 So Denver's got the longest home winning streak in the NFL.

spk_0 They're very good in Denver.

spk_0 I didn't realize that when we were looking at it, like, oh, that's kind of like a miniature

spk_0 And there's one real way to beat Patrick Mahomes.

spk_0 You can't go toe to toe with the guy.

spk_0 You have to hit him and they can do that.

spk_0 Four times he was hit the most 11 times, seven times, seven times, six times.

spk_0 So if they can get to Mahomes, that is like a recipe and you're good at home and

spk_0 If you remember the last few games of last season when they needed, they had those three

spk_0 games in 10 days and they needed to win them to be able to lock up the one seed.

spk_0 When the offensive line was really in shit like the, the offensive line wasn't in

spk_0 samples.

spk_0 The left tackle position was in shambles and they were playing the Texans who were great

spk_0 at getting to the quarterback and they were playing the Steelers, who's the whole way

spk_0 they, they were clawing their way into the playoffs was getting to the quarterback.

spk_0 The chiefs, I think, had two of their most potent offensive games of last year up to that

spk_0 point by just doing the quick hitter passing, spamming that again and again.

spk_0 I have to believe that Andy understands against Denver that we're, we aren't going to need

spk_0 massive explosives because their offense is not explosive.

spk_0 We just need to your point to be able to protect Patrick.

spk_0 I think Buffalo was different because Buffalo, I feel like they felt we need explosives.

spk_0 So we are, we haven't, and then Buffalo is able to get to.

spk_0 the back pages are basically the Instagram and Twitter feeds.

spk_0 And Philadelphia has been the subject of a lot of picking

spk_0 and we are in a way that, like the chiefs just are not.

spk_0 I'm not reporting about the unhappy guy

spk_0 in the chiefs or Packers locker room or the nine.

spk_0 Because they don't say stuff like agent.

spk_0 Right, but that's kind of my point is,

spk_0 becomes a little bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

spk_0 Like Philly is a hotbed of this stuff already.

spk_0 Now they have a guy who will talk

spk_0 and now you have everybody going to him for it

spk_0 and it's a story that just won't, you know,

spk_0 this is a story that he didn't say anything.

spk_0 and then knowing what we know about this team,

spk_0 losing to them week one to open the season last year,

spk_0 getting your season ended by them last year

spk_0 and Jordan Loeb not playing great.

spk_0 It just wouldn't feel good

spk_0 because you're then looking at their schedule

spk_0 and saying, where's the win that tells us

spk_0 that this team is really, really good.

spk_0 Now, I picked them to win the Super Bowl

spk_0 and get there, obviously.

spk_0 Detroit week one, we almost are almost wanting

spk_0 to throw that out because Detroit hasn't looked

spk_0 anything like that since.

spk_0 And so you need to put together some type of win

spk_0 against a team like this.

spk_0 If you are going to be the team that we expect you to be,

spk_0 you're going to have to face a team

spk_0 that's going to be in your way.

spk_0 And this is one that's going to consistently be

spk_0 in your way in NFC.

spk_0 I do not think they be in trouble.

spk_0 I think when you make a good point

spk_0 that that would be three, at least three straight losses,

spk_0 three in the last two years to the Eagles.

spk_0 So that could be deflating, right?

spk_0 and you lose to the defending Super Bowl champion,

spk_0 even if they lose, though, they're five, three, one.

spk_0 Now that would drop them out of the playoffs

spk_0 But because they got Minnesota twice,

spk_0 who is a team, they theoretically could be battling.

spk_0 They got Chicago twice, which is a team

spk_0 they'd be fighting with for one of those last playoffs spots

spk_0 and they still played Detroit.

spk_0 And I don't necessarily expect them to sweep Detroit,

spk_0 so they probably will lose that game.

spk_0 But I just still think they have enough games

spk_0 against the teams they're battling with.

spk_0 And we know they're better than Minnesota,

spk_0 they're better than Chicago.

spk_0 They have to play that way.

spk_0 But I still think because that's their schedule,

spk_0 they will still be in fine shape.

spk_0 So if they lose this game,

spk_0 I don't know that I will just say definitively,

spk_0 they're better than Chicago.

spk_0 And so I think Drake is having a far better year.

spk_0 Huge game this weekend, something like that.

spk_0 You got the Steelers in LA.

spk_0 Herbert against the Steelers' defense and just the pressures.

spk_0 And we know what it is, right?

spk_0 The Steelers sack the quarterback.

spk_0 They pressure the quarterback.

spk_0 And Justin Herbert gets sacked and gets pressured a ton.

spk_0 So that is the exes and owes matchup of the game.

spk_0 Can the Chargers offensive line hold up against the Steelers?

spk_0 And so the question is, can Herbert overcome it?

spk_0 And what I will say, and we'll get more into it,

spk_0 but like, he has to.

spk_0 I really don't see a formula for the Chargers.

spk_0 Like, people are like, oh, why don't they run the ball like last year?

spk_0 I don't know, because they're on their 10th starting offensive lineman

spk_0 and their third string running back.

spk_0 They're starting running back, literally,

spk_0 it was on the practice squad at the beginning of the year.

spk_0 And the guy they just penne, who they just traded for from the Saints,

spk_0 will be their 10th starter on the offensive line.

spk_0 And you've got a top five talent in the league at quarterback.

spk_0 He's your only path.

spk_0 You can't, they're not going to be able to run the ball.

spk_0 So if they win, it's because of Herbert.

spk_0 Yeah, and this is going to be a shocker.

spk_0 But to me, this feels like a letdown game for Steelers.

spk_0 Really?

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 On Sunday night, because I just don't know if the defense can perform the way to perform last Sunday.

spk_0 It took such a hurtly and effort and valid.

spk_0 They shut down and run.

spk_0 And TJ popped off the tape.

spk_0 Ramsay did well.

spk_0 Kyle Dugger had a big game.

spk_0 It really took Alex Heisman to get back into being who they needed him to be.

spk_0 But isn't this a blood in the water situation?

spk_0 I'm surprised to hear you as Steelers say that.

spk_0 Because the defense is what makes me nervous.

spk_0 They have been inconsistent this year.

spk_0 That's no question.

spk_0 That's what makes me.

spk_0 If this was a more of a consistent brand, I'm saying, yeah, we're going to LA and do what we do.

spk_0 It took them three weeks to get right.

spk_0 Right?

spk_0 They had one good game.

spk_0 Now you're going to go on the road against Herbert.

spk_0 You know, he's going to wear the cape back.

spk_0 Like, I just feel like this is going to be a letdown game.

spk_0 I want to be wrong.

spk_0 Yeah.

spk_0 But there's something in my stomach is telling me, you know, hold your horses.

spk_0 So for me, it doesn't even need to be a letdown game for the Steelers to lose this game.

spk_0 Because if somehow some way the chargers can get any sign of protection to where Herbert can drop back

spk_0 and be able to find guys open with a little bit of time.

spk_0 Now I'm not saying he's not going to get hit.

spk_0 He's probably going to get hit.

spk_0 However, if he has that, they're going to be in a dog fight.

spk_0 Because he's one of the best in the business as far as spraying the ball around and getting guys open and making plays.

spk_0 And when you look at this defense, there are defense that can be very opportunistic.

spk_0 If you leave the chargers opportunities, they will take advantage of it.

spk_0 And he's shown us this year to a degree, not on the grand scale.

spk_0 Like we wanted to see in the pole season or in the prime moment.

spk_0 But this is the prime moment where Justin Herbert, regardless of what he needs to overcome on his team or otherwise, he's been able to do it.

spk_0 I think this is what he knows he needs to do.

spk_0 I listened to him an oppressor earlier this week.

spk_0 And just about all the offensive line mix-ups and whatever.

spk_0 And he was a steady as I've heard a quarterback.

spk_0 He didn't mention it. He didn't allude to that being an excuse.

spk_0 Reason? He's like, yeah, we got to be better for those guys. They're going to be out.

spk_0 So we need to just step up and-

spk_0 Well, because that's the world he lives in now.

spk_0 Like it is.

spk_0 But it was different because you normally hear somebody kind of speak to it.

spk_0 He never spoke to it.

spk_0 He said, the guys are doing a great job. I got to be better.

spk_0 And he spoke to just what they- he believes that they really can get done.

spk_0 So I'm interested to see if he can really deliver.

spk_0 So that's great leadership. I want to-

spk_0 My buddy, friend of the show, Nick's mentioned him a bunch.

spk_0 Andrew Filiponi does radio in Pittsburgh, covers the Steelers.

spk_0 He texted us this morning and he was like, man,

spk_0 Park is you're in a great spot.

spk_0 Because if the Chargers win, you get to say Herbert played great.

spk_0 And if the Steelers win, you get to just blame it on the Chargers offensive line.

spk_0 I'm like, yeah, you basically figured it out.

spk_0 But like, is that-

spk_0 Yes, I believe in Herbert's talent.

spk_0 But is that not also what is happening right now?

spk_0 Like that- if Herbert just throws it to the other team,

spk_0 blindly and has terrible interceptions, fine.

spk_0 But if he is under duress, 50% of the time he drops back

spk_0 because he's playing against a great defense on paper,

spk_0 with backup offensive lineman.

spk_0 Like, one player cannot single-handedly win games at the end of the show.

spk_0 But we've kind of talked about this before.

spk_0 He's not allowed to get the pass because of where he stands right now and how we view.

spk_0 And when you have a deficient offensive line,

spk_0 and yeah, you may have weapons on the outside and you have a spot.

spk_0 You run it back, I think, come on, it's going to be an answer for them.

spk_0 A social officer, he's going to get a curb it a lot of quickouts.

spk_0 But Herbert has to be better than what we already know.

spk_0 Because that's what we're expecting him to be.

spk_0 And so if he's not able to do that, I guess it's a really good defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers,

spk_0 we now question because we've seen Patrick Mahol's a Josh Allen stand up in the face of adversity.

spk_0 So that's why you sit back and say, all right, here's another statement game,

spk_0 another big test on Sunday night versus air rogers, go put on the cape.

spk_0 If you can't, then we're going to keep putting you in the B level.

spk_0 I mean, if he does, it'll be the story of the week next week.

spk_0 Because that is a very, very tough spot for him.

spk_0 Lamar Jackson is back and the Ravens have lost basically all margin for air.

spk_0 We're starting with Drake May and Baker Mayfield, the Bucks host the Patriots in a battle of two first place teams.

spk_0 Take a look at the quarterbacks, see how they match up against each other throughout the year.

spk_0 Baker was a big MVP candidate early.

spk_0 Numbers have regressed a little bit, still very impressive, especially the touchdown to interception ratio

spk_0 and the Russian his scrambling this year has been great.

spk_0 Drake May has just been awesome across the board.

spk_0 So Greg, I'll start with you on this one.

spk_0 You trust Drake May to outplay Baker Mayfield?

spk_0 I don't trust Drake May to outplay Baker Mayfield.

spk_0 Not because of who Drake May is and what we've been able to see, but in this spot, this is a tough spot.

spk_0 You got a veteran guy who's been playing back.

spk_0 Going into the break, Baker was not playing at that high MVP Talks level.

spk_0 And he gets time to rest, gets time to assess himself, recoup and recalibrate.

spk_0 He's been heroic. He's had heroics.

spk_0 Now he's going to understand this is the back stretch of the season, a very important opponent.

spk_0 I had extra time to study and prep for you.

spk_0 I think Baker will come out ready to go.

spk_0 Yeah, I trust the kid.

spk_0 I trust the kid in Tampa, man.

spk_0 Listen, he's been top five in yards. He's explosive.

spk_0 I think he's on time with the football.

spk_0 They move his lines point and they live in 12 personnel with a stress to edges for the bucks.

spk_0 I think gives him a shot.

spk_0 The thing about Baker right now, he's being efficient and conservative.

spk_0 When Drake is saying, I'm going for it.

spk_0 He kind of has that young boxer.

spk_0 Like, I'm looking for knockouts.

spk_0 I like that about that.

spk_0 You need that on the road, especially when you're going to get a hostile defense in the bucks.

spk_0 I trust Drake May.

spk_0 So we'll see how healthy a Bucca looks for Baker.

spk_0 But I'm with you on Drake May.

spk_0 Like, both teams are banged up.

spk_0 The Bucs offensive line is getting healthier.

spk_0 They're at home.

spk_0 They're off the buy.

spk_0 I understand all of that.

spk_0 But you mentioned it, Greg.

spk_0 Like, that came against the Saints.

spk_0 They had one offensive touchdown.

spk_0 There was a lot of long field goals.

spk_0 But he didn't look good.

spk_0 The offense did not look good.

spk_0 The week before against the Lions, one offensive touchdown.

spk_0 They scored, I think, nine points in that game.

spk_0 He didn't look good in that game.

spk_0 Drake May has looked good every game.

spk_0 He hasn't won every game.

spk_0 But he takes a lot of sacks.

spk_0 And that's a problem right there.

spk_0 And the Bucs, I think, are fifth in the NFL and sacks.

spk_0 No, he takes a lot of sacks.

spk_0 But he looks good.

spk_0 Like, the Bucs could win.

spk_0 I think it'll be a great game.

spk_0 I picked the Patriots.

spk_0 But I do give the slight edge to Drake May just based on the consistency.

spk_0 He doesn't have the last two data points that Baker has.

spk_0 The last fully quick point that I'll make is the Bucs defense.

spk_0 15 of their 25 sacks is coming in the last three weeks.

spk_0 So they're coming on strong.

spk_0 If Drake may decide to continue holding onto the ball,

spk_0 he's going to take the necessary.

spk_0 But they have to know better going into this game.

spk_0 They got to move them.

spk_0 They can't have them sitting well.

spk_0 I think he's going to be Brady S.

spk_0 That's nothing I have.

spk_0 And he took a lot of accountability for that this week.

spk_0 He did.

spk_0 He was like, these sacks are mostly on me,

spk_0 not on the offensive line.

spk_0 So we'll see if he can improve on it.

spk_0 Huge game here in the NFC West.

spk_0 Stafford of the Rams are four and a half point favorites

spk_0 in San Francisco Sunday.

spk_0 The last time these two teams met back in week five,

spk_0 the Rams were eight and a half point favorites because it was like,

spk_0 well, Mac Jones can't do this.

spk_0 Then Mac Jones did it.

spk_0 Like that game was probably the best game in Mac Jones's career.

spk_0 He balled, man.

spk_0 340 passing yards.

spk_0 Two touchdowns.

spk_0 No picks.

spk_0 An overtime win in a division game in that spot.

spk_0 So will you trust Stafford to avoid another upset to get to the Niners?

spk_0 No, because for me, it's not about Mac Jones versus Stafford.

spk_0 This is about Shanahan's scheme versus Stafford.

spk_0 If you're the 49ers right now, you have to win this game on the ground.

spk_0 You got to allow CMC to be that dog that he's been throughout his career.

spk_0 And you also got to realize you got to play a physical burn to football.

spk_0 Hopefully that goes against what the Rams want to do.

spk_0 And I think Shanahan right now understands that Stafford is playing

spk_0 the best ball I've seen in his own career.

spk_0 Like he's damn there playing perfect.

spk_0 So you're going to have to play some ball control and own the time of possession

spk_0 to keep him on the sideline.

spk_0 But I trust the scheme versus Stafford.

spk_0 I just think Kyle Shanahan is going to have something drawn up for him offensively.

spk_0 This trust of bless is tough.

spk_0 They don't make it easy, I know a team.

spk_0 Not asking easy questions.

spk_0 Clearly, I trust Matthew Stafford.

spk_0 I do.

spk_0 I like the Niners.

spk_0 I trust Matthew Stafford because, look, Sean McVeigh is his coordinator.

spk_0 He's going to come with a game plan.

spk_0 He knows how to beat this team and compete against them.

spk_0 And he's been putting Matthew Stafford in some awesome situations.

spk_0 Anytime they get down in the red zone,

spk_0 they're almost money good.

spk_0 Matthew Stafford's plan, like you said, the best ball of his life, he's healthy.

spk_0 I did not believe he would be this healthy.

spk_0 And the healthy Matthew Stafford with Pukin' the Kooid, Devonte Adams,

spk_0 and the running game that can support what they do,

spk_0 it's going to be hard for the 49ers to do what they did the first time.

spk_0 So I'm trusting Stafford here.

spk_0 I think the Rams are going to win this game.

spk_0 It's hard to say it was the weirdest game of the season.

spk_0 But I do think it was in my top five.

spk_0 But like, man, the Rams had two turnovers, Niners had none.

spk_0 and McVeigh has that terrible play call where they run right into the line.

spk_0 A scrimmage, give the ball back, lose on a field goal.

spk_0 Now that Niners' defensive injuries are piling up,

spk_0 McLean's their first round.

spk_0 Pick us out, Fred Warner is out.

spk_0 Fred Warner played in that game back in week five.

spk_0 So the Niners' defense against a Rams offense that is rolling,

spk_0 and they've got revenge on their mind,

spk_0 and this division is one of the most competitive in the NFL.

spk_0 I just can't see Mac Jones doing it twice.

spk_0 Well, they also get Kendra Borin and Juan Gennies back.

spk_0 I know Purcell is kind of off and on where he's at.

spk_0 Yeah, the Niners are getting healthier offense.

spk_0 They didn't have kiddo in that game.

spk_0 They didn't have Gennies back.

spk_0 But they're not as healthy defensive.

spk_0 I understand.

spk_0 It's a trade off.

spk_0 Yeah, but you got to score.

spk_0 You know, and when you know what staffer can do,

spk_0 and we talked about the rhythm in which he plays with,

spk_0 you got to put up points.

spk_0 So they have the far power to do so.

spk_0 But how much better can Mac Jones play?

spk_0 He had three hundred and four yards, two touchdowns and no picks

spk_0 without, to your point, kiddo, Purcell and Gennies.

spk_0 So you're telling me he's got five hundred yards?

spk_0 No.

spk_0 And this came in like, he can't.

spk_0 Why?

spk_0 He got to end it up.

spk_0 But I feel better.

spk_0 He can kind of repeat that because he has the guys on the outside

spk_0 and a perimeter that can support what he provides his offense.

spk_0 Look, this is why it's tough.

spk_0 Yeah, we asked him, no, I think it goes into, well, that week five game,

spk_0 I think the Rams walked in like, Mac Jones ain't going to beat us.

spk_0 Like, I think they scoffed at the notion and into your point,

spk_0 Yeah, I expect the Ravens to not only win, but dominate.

spk_0 Like the interior of the Vikings' defensive line is soft and in hospital cut.

spk_0 It's been a problem for them all year.

spk_0 I expect the Ravens to look on-brand.

spk_0 Their speed and power will be more as a legit option.

spk_0 Derek Henry, this defense is healthier.

spk_0 Kyle Hammons is playing a lot better.

spk_0 I think overall, I think they roll the Vikings.

spk_0 because I do like the offense of the Ravens.

spk_0 However, if the Vikings can run the football, which I believe that they can.

spk_0 It's just like most people against the Ravens because of their interior issues.

spk_0 Then that allows your quarterback to gain confidence.

spk_0 Ryan Flores is going to have a plan against Lamar.

spk_0 Will it work?

spk_0 We shall see.

spk_0 Lamar tends to hold the ball a little bit long.

spk_0 And we saw against Detroit holding the ball, trying to extend plays.

spk_0 Make plays, took seven sacks.

spk_0 That's kind of the game that I'm, if you're the Vikings, you want to have Lamar play.

spk_0 Knowing that he's still going to get you every once in a while.

spk_0 But the Vikings definitely will have a chance to get this down.

spk_0 But that Detroit game is an interesting data point here.

spk_0 I would just say, like, what is Brian Flores doing?

spk_0 I am open to the possibility that what everybody thought about the Ravens before the year,

spk_0 which was basically, this is the most talented 53 man roster in the league.

spk_0 I'm open to the possibility that now that those guys are all healthy,

spk_0 that that is still in play for this Ravens team.

spk_0 Look, it's still in play.

spk_0 But if you're the Vikings, you're looking at all that tape

spk_0 and you understand that they're getting healthy.

spk_0 But you believe in who you are.

spk_0 You understand if you're Brian Flora has like, look, he might be that good against the,

spk_0 against the blitz and against pressure.

spk_0 But we also know he has the tendency to not even get outside the pocket and use it one,

spk_0 his greatest weapon, which is his legs, because he's such a great passer at this stage in his career.

spk_0 So you bank on him holding the ball and getting them down.

spk_0 I also know the Ravens noticed they understand assignment.

spk_0 There's no room for ever.

spk_0 No, they got to have.

spk_0 This is health, urgency, win a lose.

spk_0 If we want to place it on the table, we got to get them out the way.

spk_0 Yeah, they cannot be dropping anymore games without the favorite.

spk_0 Probably the biggest game of the week.

spk_0 He's seen this offense a line of hand for the time.

spk_0 But I think he'll be alright.

spk_0 Eagles are, I love this game.

spk_0 Eagles are off the buy, but it's in Lambo at night.

spk_0 Jordan Love in the weird game,

spk_0 and they lose as the big favorite.

spk_0 But Eagles coming off their two best games off the right two,

spk_0 the gaming at the Minnesota, Jaylen Hertz is the perfect pass

spk_0 for rating, the last game.

spk_0 Sayquan has his best game.

spk_0 I like the Eagles in this spot.

spk_0 And what will be hilarious is if they win the game,

spk_0 and they're the, like, comfortably the one seed,

spk_0 and everyone else is bad in their division,

spk_0 they'll be like, all of the drama, and all of the talk,

spk_0 and it'll look like they've got a cakewalk to the ones.

spk_0 Well, I think it just proves to the fact

spk_0 that they can win in multiple ways.

spk_0 And that's a good thing, right?

spk_0 That's not something you look at and be like,

spk_0 uh-oh, like we don't have an identity.

spk_0 No, identity is we can run it, we can throw it.

spk_0 However you want it, we have access to get it done.

spk_0 So they should be proud of it.
