And it was even a vain plea to I don't know, Jermar Chase and T Higgins.

I'm sure those players obviously Chase actually got home two days ago with a monster score.

And I'm sure like he doesn't appreciate that the team is awful once again.

And T Higgins has not been getting home quite as much with Jake Browning.

I mean Chase wasn't until two days ago either.

I will note that I mean we were making the point that it really is the rearranging the deck chairs.

One of the only quarterbacks who has been worse in EPA per play than Jake Browning this year is Joe Flacco,

who is dead last in the NFL.

Jake Browning's actually been middle of the pack and completion percent over expected.

Joe Flacco is chasing dead last.

He's at 30th negative 4.3%.

The like film watching Metcalfe want to call him that the pf stuff has actually been a little more favorable to Flacco versus Browning.

But it's you know it's which one of these failed quarterbacks looks less bad and per the quote film metrics if you want to call him that.

They're a little more favorable to Flacco.

Flacco has also been a little bit better under pressure averaging slightly higher yards per attempt.

Slightly higher big time throw rate slightly lower turn over worthy play rate.

He's also had a bunch of drops on his pressured throw.

So his numbers could be even better under pressure.

And maybe maybe that's the one sort of shining light is that Jake Browning has really struggled under pressure and Joe Flacco with better wide receivers.

It's probably in the same way like late in his career Aaron Rogers handled pressure well.

He was just like I have two options.

I'm never taking a sack.

I think I've thrown away or give one of my receivers a chance.

Both of which are our solid options versus taking a sack or throwing a really bad pass.

Jake Browning has done more of the latter more of the sack taking and more of the throwing bad passes, especially throwing bad passes.

So I think it's probably an upgrade.

But the fact that Jake Browning has played so poorly and I cannot say for sure if this is an upgrade that kind of tells you where we are where we are at with Flacco through like three or four starts at his.

I guess that is the bowl case there.

I mean, there's no actual bowl case, but or Flacco's experience might actually mean something in the situation.

He kind of took a lot of sacks early in his career.

That rate went down as he got older.

I mean, he's totally immobile.

This is a horrible offensive line, but he seems probably better suited to get the ball out and not only to get it out, but to get it out to the two actually good players.

Not just like feeding Mike Jaseki or the running back or Andre Yosheviss or whatever or Joe Flacco.

I think that has me a big part of this move.

They know he can at least get the ball to Jamar chase and to T Higgins.

And then maybe they didn't trust Jake Browning to process fast enough even if he's more mobile than Joe Flacco is right now.

If basically everyone is more mobile than Joe Flacco is right now.

But this is probably just a bet that yeah, like maybe not only will he get the ball to our top two weapons more easily more often.

But you know, maybe then the game won't go off the rails in the first and second quarter.

Like it's been doing every single week or if he can just keep it within a score or two in the first half.

Then maybe we can actually get cooking after the break right those probably are the two bets.

He's better getting the ball to these two guys even if it's marginal, he will be better.

And then hopefully he's just not submarine in the game from the opening whistle.

And maybe that's the like the charitable view for Flacco to why I went I went downhill in Indianapolis and went downhill in Cleveland this year.

He wasn't playing with anyone like Jamar chase and T Higgins even in Indy last year.

You know, a few good receivers.

Michael Pitman was playing through a broken back.

Maybe we kind of overrated the weapons he had it as a disposal in those two previous stops.

And maybe we will get yet another Joe Flacco revival.

Nowadays it all pro receiver and a pro bowl level receiver and T Higgins.

Yeah, I kind of a city said that kind of convinced me that at least maybe we can get some more garbage time fun.

So I mean, that is frankly what Flacco has been doing for the past two years in both Cleveland and Indy not even in Cleveland again.

But the first stop in Cleveland and the first stop in Indy.

He wasn't like overly efficient right.

He got to throw the football a lot and he threw accurate targets and also tons of interceptions.

Frankly, the accurate targets portion of that equation is a little bit more than we can say for Jake Browning who maybe throwing the ball a lot.

And he pulled it together in the fourth quarter on Sunday.

I don't know how real that even is, but largely has been dreadfully inaccurate among the bottom bottom five or bottom 10 passers in terms of pft.

Accurate throw rate as well. Flacco not that much better, but is marginally better and throwing too truly worst wide receivers.

And as you get open more, it is easier to throw accurately too wide open receivers.

So you know, you kind of sold me on this being a little bit more of a this is a fantasy and bio trade if anything like that is.

Frankly, that's all it is because I do not think it's an actual wins kind of trade.

I'll just say this against the greenway Packers this week will you start T Higgins down.

Most of you are probably still starting him before like a desperation wide receiver three.

But yeah, I guess we're not taking T Higgins out. He was in the lineup before even with Jake Browning Joe Flacco will talk about a more dini.

The biggest news still in fantasy, at least with the most fallout is a Marian Hampton's ankle injury.

It was out the next four games. Really tough break for a player.

You got off to a slow start had an unfortunate injury in his back field that he was able to take advantage of.

I mean, how he's heard that's just life in the NFL and life for fantasy managers is usually that there's someone like an obvious next man up.

Like even if they're not good, even in Arizona, whatever they're telling us Michael Carter will be the early down guy.

I'm telling you some already Mercado. I will be third down back. I guess maybe it's somewhat similar with the, excuse me, Hassan Haskins and Camani by doll in Los Angeles Kyle, but neither of these players are very good.

They've never been involved voluntarily in the offense. Not someone they've looked to proactively get the ball to even last year as Gus Edwards was struggling.

Jake Dobbins was struggling. Who should fantasy managers if anyone prioritized what are real estate expectations for Hassan has been trouble saying that name for some reason and Camani by doll.

Yeah, it actually when you said it has some parallels to the Carter D Mercado situation. I think in maybe this is a little bit of over comments. I actually think it has a lot of parallels to that.

And that as much as like we want Camani but all last week it was a Mario D Mercado to be the gut reaction. I think this is the player. I think it is more logical and more probable that that player ends up being Hassan Haskins, which was revealed to be Michael Carter last week.

Haskins he outcarried this is it's a small sample. It doesn't mean much, but he did outcarry Camani but all five to four last week.

The doll is out there playing with like train lance at the end of the end of a clearly lost game and maybe most important. I think this is the most obvious data point is they cut Camani with doll.

It didn't make the 53 man roster at the end of training camp and kept us on Haskins over him. Like you said, I think in a VOD record they expose Camani but all to waivers or to being later poached off of their practice squad.

You do not value that player. I mean really much at all if you are saying like yeah, if someone else takes you, it just means nothing to us. They kept Haskins over him. I still think it is not 100% clear that Haskins is the lead back.

But if you're making me bet all of the signs including the fact that he played under Jim Harboh on Michigan. He was not bad at Michigan either Haskins. That is all the signs point to Hassan Haskins for me at least as far as leading the team in carries goes.

I do think Camani would all will see some carries. I think it will probably be the top back on passing down but for fantasy purposes that does make him the D. Mercado parallel and one D. Mercado didn't get home last week.

He would have if he didn't drop that 70 some yard should have been touched down at the one yard line but also he had like just a handful of touches.

I do think Camani would all roll is largely based on snaps and not touches and Haskins is the opposite. Maybe it doesn't get more than 40% snap share but all the snaps are just bangin between the tackle.

Yeah it's probably back to how that backfield look last year where the early down touches are really just like part of a larger game plan where they're not actually expecting like big gains to come out of this.

It's just like to set up the play afterwards or whatever where you've got to have some filler plays in there not every play. Yeah yeah fun play or the run is just like kind of the necessary evil to keep the script moving.

You know to hopefully turn up two or three yards to make it like a second seven a second six or they're not about yeah it's not about being a staple of the offense anymore and in these situations you just try to look to like what can I project like at all here.

We can probably safely project if there's going to be a goal line back it'll be Hassan Haskins. I try the number one thing to cling to.

We think we can project come on about all being the past catcher or pride is also projecting in an offense that has two of the better easy button targets and NFL keen and Allen lad Maconkey.

Probably not going to be a ton of check downs to come on of it all again a guy who didn't even begin near on the team.

So the safest role projection just feel it feels like Hassan Haskins getting some touchdown opportunities and yeah if you're down and if you're down to Mario and Hampton fantasy you're hurting really really bad.

Yeah I'm spending like 250 some dollars on fab in my FFPC team because we had Hampton and we were juggernaut and this did not peel fun.

This was like you said this is just part of the game of football and I do think much like Carter last week if you're out a starting running back whether it be this week it you know obviously it's Hampton could have a different running back a different week like you only get so many chances especially with Hampton on IR.

Guaranteed to miss four games. There's a decent chance we get four starting two down roles for Hassan's like you don't find much better bets than that off the way for why are running back this far into the season so I think he kind of has to be prioritized.

one score games last year then I'll own three and one score games this year I mean the good news is for the if your chiefs fan like they're having some aggression in the mean but they just look like the same chiefs to me they're probably going to be fine we'll get to the chiefs in minute though because there were fantasy takeaways from this game or they're Brian Thomas junior and Travis Hunter both at their best outputs of the season the bad news is though the best output for Brian Thomas junior is eighty yards the best output for Travis Hunter is sixty four yards most that was on a forty yard catch up.

So we're looking for anything to cling to with these jaguars receivers do we get it on Monday night time with Travis Hunter I'll say probably not he's running seventy plus percent of the routes and back to back games which if he was really efficient that would be really good it be good enough at least right it's not a full time starting role but it's close to it but he's not earning targets at a high per route clip at all this year and like I think there are plenty of reasons for that to be the case obviously the fact that he is a two way players maybe take a

two weeks it has been both his highest rated and second highest rated game by pf as a receiver no drops over the past two weeks two three

worst stretch of football behind him and if you compare that with maybe push towards like a 30 percent target share still strikes me as someone who scores more points per game say from week six onward then he did in weeks one through five but I just you know two minutes

all came on one big play for Travis Hunter a lot of it came on one big straight one big throw to Brian Thomas as well oh my god beautiful throw but like the fact that he can hit a beautiful throw has never been the issue it's
